Very impressed w/ orderly arrangement of products for sale, e.g., music, books, movie, etc. Makes sense! Also, the choice of sellers is easy to understand & navigate--I contacted one book seller Solr by email to find out if the used book they were selling was highly dusty (allergies) & they emailed back w/ details & evident concern. Alibris is now my "go-to" source for great prices, selection & quality of sale. Thanks for doing a great job!
Very Difficult to change shipping address. Had to quit internet browser and log back in again. Shipping choices limited. I know from past purchase that independent sellers can take their sweet time shipping items and often do. Why does alibris appear to charge at 1st class parcel rates and deliver at slower and cheaper media mail rate? Delivery window excessively wide.
I am constantly adding and building up a comic book collection of my own. Thank you for selling an item that is brand spanking new and clean! I promise to take great care of this book. Trust me, no page will go unread! Thank you!

My recent Alibris ordering experience went very well. There was a good selection of the titles I was looking for, prices were reasonable, and shipping speed, especially during the Holiday rush period was very good. All but 1 item made it to me by Christmas, and the last one was a day later. Books arrived well-packed and in good shape.

Alibris connects to small book stores across the country. This made finding an out of print title that was a gift for a family member so much easier. They were delighted to receive it! The quality was as described and the price was extremely reasonable.

I love Alibris. I just wish you were an actual physical location that I could walk into.
That said, my ordering experience was fine and easy.
The one frustration I have is when I knowingly ordered from Half Price Books in Dallas, via Alibris, I was charged separate shipping charges. Thankfully, everything got to me on time and I was able to do my own shipping of things to where they needed to go.
I was introduced to Alibris many years ago and have used Alibris, rather than another ordering service, to order books and dvds whenever I was unable to find things in a physical store.

It was easy to find what I was looking for and I appreciate the money saving option during check out. By selecting all items come from the same place i was able to save on shipping costs. That's always a bonus when u live in Alaska.

Easy to filter results to get the book I want! In all the years I've been shopping here, I've only been disappointed once - and that was because the book had lived in a house with smokers. Not your fault. It is, however, easy to spend way too much time on the site, finding more things I want to read but have no more room on my bookshelves for.
Trying to order LESS from Amazon... and my local indie needed to charge me full hardcover price.

I always check with Alibris books to see if they carry a book that's on my reading list. They usually have what I'm looking for at a great price. Their books arrive without highlights, no underlining or margin notes which can be very distracting.

Not only do my books always arrive in a timely fashion for a great value, they are often in better condition than described. Most recently I ordered a popular vintage hardcover cookbook for $19 & it just happened to be from the library of Cary Grant- steal of a deal :)

Been using ALibris for decades. You are able to go back and see the books you have read, or where you left off on a series. Very pleased this company and want to support non Amazon sellers when I can.

Shipping is slower from the alibis warehouse but if you have the time and want to save on shipping it's a nice option. Private sellers were fast for my Christmas order, but everything arrived on time and in condition expected or better

Only suggestion is packaging: the root children book was in bubble envelope and delivered to mailbox. It got slightly dinged, but still in good enough shape to give a toddler who will do far worse the first week of handling.

The prices were lower when comparing to other used book sites! However it took longer than I anticipated for my other to ship. Contacting a live customer service rep was impossible. After several emails over a few days I received a response. Soon after my items shipped.
Would be nice to be able to speak with a person or at least receive a prompt email that you can tell isn't auto generated

I ordered a double CD of Harry Chapin's first two albums, but one of the CDs was missing. This the first time in 25 years that Alibris has disappointed me so badly. I have not heard anything about my request for a refund.
I have not received a response, and I remain unsatisfied.
I am a long-time Alibris customer, and I loath Amazon.

Alibris has connections to sellers of all kinds of books across the world and I found a book that I had not seen in about 45 years. It was expensive but that is understandable for something that only had a limited number of copies printed. The seller was helpful in answering my questions and sent it off promptly when I ordered it. Shipping (international) was by well known US carrier but took rather longer than expected (over 2 weeks).

My favorite place to find old books. I've been ordering books from Alibris for years and it's my go to when I want to find an old out of print book. There have only been two books that I haven't found yet, but no doubt some day I'll find them on Alibris. Love this site and will continue to use it!
