Very impressed w/ orderly arrangement of products for sale, e.g., music, books, movie, etc. Makes sense! Also, the choice of sellers is easy to understand & navigate--I contacted one book seller Solr by email to find out if the used book they were selling was highly dusty (allergies) & they emailed back w/ details & evident concern. Alibris is now my "go-to" source for great prices, selection & quality of sale. Thanks for doing a great job!
Very Difficult to change shipping address. Had to quit internet browser and log back in again. Shipping choices limited. I know from past purchase that independent sellers can take their sweet time shipping items and often do. Why does alibris appear to charge at 1st class parcel rates and deliver at slower and cheaper media mail rate? Delivery window excessively wide.
I love shopping Alibris for all kinds of books. I'd just read a bunch of chef memoirs and wanted to gather the cookbooks from these authors. Buying these books new would have cost a fortune, and I didn't need them to be new. I found them in pristine used condition from varying purveyors via Alibris and was happy with the book and shipping costs. Items arrived quickly and in excellent condition.
Alibris is often my first stop when I'm trying to find a used or out-of-print book.

Pretty happy! Ordered an older book of 2003 print. It was a hard cover book to be used with a Bow Flex work out machine, "Bow Flex Body Plan". I had lost all my original Bow Flex literature. Amazon and others pricing from 23 to 29 dollars. Found here used described in good condition for $1.37! Can't beat that! When I recieved it, it may as well been a brand new book right off the press. Cover and pages in pristine condition, outter photo cover perfect, and original price inside of $29.95. Super Happy!

This is my second time using Alibris. Found what I needed. First time was great getting an old book that was in awesome condition. Originally $29. Used here for $6.
Based on my last order going so well and great savings, came back for another need, also saving a bunch.

The first time I tried to purchase this item, I ended up learning a few days later that the seller didn't have it. I had to repurchase with a different seller for a higher purchase price. I also haven't yet received proof of refund in progress, but Alibris acknowledged they're working on the refund.

Great shopping experience- Searched by title and the exact book I wanted came up first in the results. There was an abundant choice of new and used books to choose from. I filled my cart and checked out within a matter of minutes.

As many folks know, gradually, even inevitably, CD's are becoming passe, impossible to purchase, especially at reasonable prices and newer technology is being marketed aggressively.
At the same time, CD's are still a wonderful item, especially for classical music collections. In this light, Alibris is a valuable find and this is deeply appreciated by this consumer.

I have been a fan of Alibris since it first started way back when! It is good to know you are still here helping people find items you can't get elsewhere. There is always room for improvement, I guess, so I do have to note that it would be helpful if there were combined shipping discounts for books purchased from the same seller... and also easier ways to find the same seller for certain items. I thought I used to be able to search by Seller (and then have a separate search engine for JUST their items listed), but I could find neither of those this time. Still it was great you had some of what I needed. Keep up the great work!
I have used this site in the past for hard-to-find (or out of print) books and some places who still sell some - like Amazon - don't offer them in anything but electronic media - which is great for many, but some of my friends and family still prefer a printed book - or audiobooks on CD!

If you take PayPal, it should be unnecessary to enter personal information manually, since PP provides this automatically. But that you take PP is not listed until after the personal information has been entered. So no one will know PP is an option. Please consider simplifying.

Wish all could be combined in one shipment. Shipping is so expensive! I understand that Alibris has several vendors, and not sure of solution. For large orders, maybe Alibris could charge the customer a flat rate and get some reimbursed from vendors. Difficult with large orders.

Purchased a book. Their was a problem with part the shipping address that was omitted from my order.
A saved screen capture showed I had entered it correctly.
The company responded to my emails. I would not have been the customer response I would have preferred. The book eventually arrived. My suggestion is for buyers to screen capture as you order and keep those until your book arrives.

Knowledge in the books is valuable, especially from good quality authors. Even though we are in digital stage now, not all old books are digitalised. Thank God that I could still find the precious books through this website to prepare materials for the church courses. Though the shipping cost is higher and the waiting time is longer, it's still worth transferring knowledge to the next generation. Thank team for your help and good work.

Great price. Don't like the shipping fee at all. I do wish there was a better price that reflected the actual price for media shipment. It's it Fair to make me purchase a book that only costs you 1$ to send me and you pocket so much off of this purchase.

While the book prices are quite reasonable (depending on the book...), the compounded shipping is shocking at checkout. Since the books are coming from different places, I get it, but Amazon is completely transparent about this detail when shopping for used books...

Alibris had both books that I wanted at a better price than the competitors that I checked. The only improvement I could suggest is to have better info available on shipping options/prices. I had to go through 80% of the check out process before I could see what the shipping would be. The prices I received seem to be a standard price so why not show them in the FAQs?
