Because the book I wanted was cheaper from you than from Thriftbooks, and you are not called Amazon, even though you may be owned by Amazon (I'm not sure.)

I'm a retired academic. I've given away more books than I can remember to colleagues, grad students, family, and friends. Good hard-bound books are meant to be handled and read by many, so I'm comfy with the notion of purchasing and selling used bound volumes. We'll see how this experience goes in the long run.

I have coupons but there is no opportunity to type in codes when purchasing so cannot use. Unfair.
