Found an out of print book I was looking for at a better price than Amazon! Shipped promptly and arrived in described condition. I'm a happy customer!

Searched for a book I used to own but lent out and never got back, long ago. Ordered here for cheap, it arrived (same cover as my old one!), and I am a happy camper. Not much else to say, except that this was a great experience overall.

Even with separate shipping costs from third party sellers, the total prices were better than elsewhere for these rarer books. Alibris even allows coupon code usage despite alternate seller purchases.

Average experience overall. Meh. I don't like getting pestered for reviews by Alibris and I don't like not having a choice to prohibit my review from being published. But that's the way Alibris set it up. Hope that helps.

As prices for books have to continued to climb unconscionably high, Alibris continues to be my ideal vendor and my go-to when I'm interested in a title of any kind. I've known about the site since childhood and it's still as reliable as ever. I'll likely continue to rely on it for much longer.

I looked on all the major online shopping websites without success. Alibris came to my rescue with a plethora of old editions of books that are in good condition. The only problem was that I was using the book to discuss pathology at work, and it took longer than expected to ship the product. I am used to 1 day shipping. Anything more seems like a drag.

Alibris' prices often can't be beat anywhere, making this one of the best sites to order books from. The only thing that sometimes prevents me from ordering here is when I need a book quickly. It typically takes 1-2 weeks to receive the book. Books are typically in visibly used condition with multiple stickers on them, which does not bother me.

Fast & Fair. I was able to find my title, then sort pricing and condition rapidly so as to come to a reasonable solution far faster than Amazon, which is now bloated with clutter and poor pricing choices.

I'm very satisfied with my book. It is pre-owned but looks brand new. After purchasing it, I saw it offered for a much lower price on different platforms ( my bad) and it took a really long time from purchase to delivery.

It was a good experience, came quickly and in good condition. My only wish was that more details on condition were provided as a textbook without a code is automatically "Good" but did not account for highlighting inside or such. But still fantastic pricing.

Almost all my orders over the last 20 years have arrived in good time to my address in Australia. Of the one or two that didn't arrive, Alibris provided a full refund. The website is easy to use and there is an excellent selection of products. Highly recommended :)

Easy ordering experience, informative descriptions and instructions, bought the book I wanted, in good physical condition with dust cover, at a good price, that arrived in a timely fashion, undamaged in transit. Overall... exceeded my expectations.

Multitude of Reasonable Prices to choose from. I don't understand why some merchant would "Tape" all over the book the word "Used". The sticker they use does not peel off easily, thus making a big mess. I know that I'm purchasing a used book, so, I do not think that it is necessary to have so much sticker that says "Used". If they are doing it so that their staff avoids mistake, a label on the spine should be enough.

Several options were available, for publisher, condition of book, when published, and for the different sellers... all good information, and easy to differentiate and select. We have purchased books and other media through Alibris for twenty years, always being happy with the service.

The Alibris website functions very well and is easy to understand too. The shipping is fairly fast too - yet with staggered arrival times, as they are being shipped from different bookstore locations across the country. All of the books I bought arrived in good physical condition too this time. So that is good. I like the helpful notifications via email as well.

I love using Alibris to get used books, I can usually find what I'm looking for at reasonable prices and in good quality! My only qualm is paying for shipping for each book instead of paying for shipping once. I understand that these books are coming directly from sellers and this how shipping is calculated, but does make me pause from buying here since I know I will be paying usually an extra $5 of books. If they could find a way to charge one shipping fee at checkout that would be stellar, but overall I love using this platform for used books!

The book was supposed to be considered good, but I found that there were many underlings in red pen and pages with their corners turned down. First time I have been disappointed in the quality of the book. Fortunately, it is a reference book and not one I would re-read many times.

I needed a medical textbook for a college class, and just the rent price was only about $3 less than buying the full thing here - so that's what I did. Arrived just when it said it would and in great condition, so hoping I can sell it and get half my money back later too.

Site works refreshingly well. Things make sense, the options I would ever want are easily visible, and when I scroll down I even see alternate book covers on the specific edition pages so I can choose by image specifically what I want. Good job.

I found all the books on my list for such a great price and they arrived quickly as well. They were all in great condition. I will definitely be ordered more from this site and recommending to friends

Alibris provides a great service, connecting you with sellers of diverse material, in many cases material that is hard to locate. Orders are processed quickly, and most of the sellers I've bought from are diligent at following through on their end. Don't get mad at Alibris when/if a seller is lazy, inefficient or uncommunicative.

The shopping experience was great, intuitive UI & plenty of sellers with ranging products available on the platform. The price of the product, GST & shipping was expensive. The product was delivered 5 business days late after the expected delivery schedule. However most of the problems occurred since I live outside the United States (high currency exchange rate and shipping costs), and the product's rarity also affected the price. That being said, I would shop with Alibris again. Due to its catalogue of rare books & texts, I'll be shopping with the expectations that I now have.

I emailed customer service to inquire about my belated delivery. They responded back quickly, telling me about the various factors that could have had an effect on the shipping process.
