Very impressed w/ orderly arrangement of products for sale, e.g., music, books, movie, etc. Makes sense! Also, the choice of sellers is easy to understand & navigate--I contacted one book seller Solr by email to find out if the used book they were selling was highly dusty (allergies) & they emailed back w/ details & evident concern. Alibris is now my "go-to" source for great prices, selection & quality of sale. Thanks for doing a great job!
Very Difficult to change shipping address. Had to quit internet browser and log back in again. Shipping choices limited. I know from past purchase that independent sellers can take their sweet time shipping items and often do. Why does alibris appear to charge at 1st class parcel rates and deliver at slower and cheaper media mail rate? Delivery window excessively wide.
Two out of the three books I received came in good condition. However, one of them was positioned weird so the back part of the cover as well as quite a few pages arrived pretty bent.

I needed titles urgently for a course; Albris came up with the goods BUT! I was haunted by the awareness that I had succumbed to the ultimately dispicable, Amazon-ruled marketplace. Next time, I will buy from a source that honors authors and copyright: Seminary Co-op Bookstore in Chicago.

Overall my experience was good, but I couldn't find any information on the site about the binding of one of the books I was purchasing, which was a little frustrating. I had to assume/guess by googling the ISBN and finding the book listed on other sites.
I have had good experiences purchasing used books from Alibris in the past. Wanted to purchase used textbooks at a lower price. Prices on Alibris are competitive with those I've seen on eBay and elsewhere.

The disk appeared to be fine, but has a scratch on the very first track that I have been unable to remove with cleaning. Case was in great shape, not cracked.

A wide range of books and reasonable prices. Also, Alibris has a compilation of boos not generally found in most book stores. This is especially true of the hard sciences and psychology.

There was a significant delay (over two weeks) between when the shipping label was printed to when the product was actually received by USPS for shipping - when I reached out to the seller for clarification about this, they did not engage or explain why it took so long.

I love that Albris has books of all kinds - new and used from all over the US. I found one where my great aunt was referred to as being a nurse in Berma in WWII. My grandpa had the book and I wanted a copy too. And Albris was where I found one.

I've ordered Many books from Alibris and only once a long time ago was I dissatisfied and they gave me a refund right away. I've had so many good experiences with them.
I buy a lot of books and sometimes I just have to get it new right away, but usually I try to get books from Alibris or the Library store. Used books save money and I don't feel guilty about the trees because I'm "recycling" them. I see the next question and I've told many people about Alibris.

With all due respect, you have one of the most frustrating billing systems I've ever encountered. Two things: I buy for myself and for a friend. You don't allow me to have two addresses and two credit cards. So if I buy for my friend and then for myself, say, 2 months later, I've forgotten her credit card is in your system and therefore my purchase, the one I buy for myself, goes on her credit card. Amazon allows you to have more than one address and so should Alibris. It can't be a NASA-grade tweak. Secondly, the system told me my card had expired and never let met get to the checkout page. I was prompted to re-enter my CVV and save & continue, which I did 7 or 8 times, but the page kept coming back to the same message and never let me get to checkout. I therefore had to "add a new card" which of course was just my usual card with the new expiration information. Very inconvenient and unnecessary in my humble opinion. Oh, and another thing, you always ask me if you should follow up to make sure I'm satisfied with my order. I always click yes and not one, NOT ONCE, have you ever followed up. This is why I'm giving yo 2 stars.

So long as I don't have any problems, the shopping experience is just fine. It's not like I'm shopping at Harrods.
Prices are generally cheaper than Amazon even if the shipping is often high.
By the way, I always answer yes regarding the follow-up, but you never have.

I have never had a problem with Alibris, except with the credit card information. It's not because I use a friend's credit card once that that should become the default credit card. Ask me, for God's sake. Don't assume.
Amazon was substantially more expensive, although the gap narrows with the shipping Alibris charges.

If there's no problem ordering and the shipping is reasonable, and the articles arrive without any problem, then that rates a 5 for me. They haven't arrived yet so I reserve judgement but so far, everything's ok.

I think I got pretty good deal for the book and I was able to get it in very good condition which is great. Definitely didn't pay anywhere near full price which is what I wanted so I'm satisfied.

Alibris is competitively priced with similar sites, Abe Books and Thriftbooks. I picked them for the price and the ordering process was easy, shipping notices were received and books arrived within stated arrival dates. I will keep them in mind for future purchases.

Neutral. I wish I had just purchased new. The item that was missing, I had to purchase separately, and with the separate purchase and the purchase of your book, I ended up spending more than if I had paid for this book brand new. I will not shop here again.
There is no callback number for customer service. Everything done online through email and the response was auto generated. Very poor customer service.
