Prices have skyrocketed for used textbooks. It is a shame. This was a place where you could find some neat buys (and I used to recommend it to my students) -- now it is just a cut throat as Amazon.

I placed an order, logged off, came back with a new passcode, and the order was gone. I don't believe it. So, that's why I did not order a second book. I think your computer is not working right.
I could not find the book elsewhere. I am really upset at this. Never has this happened before. I wanted the copy of this book for 25$ and I have to pay 40$ now.

I have been very happy with Alibris as my book source for many years now. Some other sites offer free shipping but the often up the price of the book to include shipping costs. I find Alibris prices are equivalent or lower overall. And with the rating of book condition, I have never been disappointed with order. Any rare problem (my listing the wrong shipping address, for example) has gotten personal attention.

Overall excellent experience - loved the savings optimizer. It was a bit confusing why shipping was applied in cart when the free truck was showing but they at final checkout it was removed.
