Pricing with shipping could be more transparent. Some offerings of free shipping didn't fit with some books.

I GET all these emails saying I will save money. It's a crock because I have to spend more money than I want to in order to have the coupon be worth something.

You actually aren't to blame. My frustrations come from a long line of internet deterioration, offensive language by sellers, and complete breakdown of the process of getting information, personalized services, and satisfactory experience involved in buying things online or on the phone. You should cater the whole experience to your customers' satisfaction and ease, which 90-98% of online and telephone businesses no longer do. The internet has overused its usefulness and reason for being which was supposed to be blah blah blah speek and all that otaaher $#*!. Speed? It takes ridiculously long times just to get extremely simple and straightforward info or do some simple transaction, which negates all the benefits and then some. People are trained to think this is all necessary and this is the wave of the future rather than a tsunami that is flooding the whole city, town, and landscape. Ig's over unless we can curtail the unregulated use of health-damaging and reproduction-altering electromagnetics such as microwaves, wifi, dumb meters, and other such genocidal electromagnetic assault devices. People need to read up on this subject or suffer teh consequences of trusting anyone in a corporate board room, high position in government, or who is a soldier for these homicidal scammers.
I thought it might have the books I needed at a reasonable price and have decent customer service, but almost none do any more. No personal representative on a readilyu available phone line, without a damn 20min. Queue means you really dont' care about your customer which makes the message "because we care about you" twice as offensive and f*d up. No one that pushes their customer service overseas to people that can barely be deciphered at 1/4 or 1/5 our minimum wage gives a rat's $#*! about their customers and their business. Period. How did this come to be? Mission creep, I guess, but it's time to sdurn it back and get back to gold standard service and proud, shining businesses.

I have ordered 3 books from the US to be shipped to the UK in the last few months. 2 didn't arrive and one was cancelled immediately without explanation. Their international shipping uses the cheapest possible surface mailing company, and there is no tracking (available to the customer, or probably at all) past the US hub. Both books that were shipped as far as the US hub, and then were "lost". One was expensive and fairly rare (signed by Sir Edmund Hillary - the polar explorer). You cannot contact them regarding this delivery until after 45 days, when they immediately tell you it is "lost". Then they issue a refund. Their is no Customer Service at all. Generic responses all the way. This is not how you operate a service to either the buyer or seller - in both instances that the book has been lost, the sellers are equally perplexed and astounded by their (lack of) response or resolution.
BE WARNED - DON'T ORDER FROM US TO UK UNLESS YOU PLAY THE LOTTERY AND OFTEN WIN - check out reviews from other UK buyers with international deliveries.
