I've had my account for years. Today my email was not accepted. Neither was my password. Bounced back and forth getting new which later was not accepted. Took a good 20 minutes to complete a transaction that usually takes only minutes. Totally frustrating.
I always check in to find a book. Usually no problem. But today made me rethink coming back. I also dislike having to agree to checking the box to make my response public or I cannot submit. This is like the last straw. I always told my people never let a customer leave with a bad taste in their mouths. Well, I have one now.

I love the simplicity of the interface, especially the ease of asking a question of a seller.
Alibris often has older and out of print books I cannot find, or find in decent quality, on the major seller's sites. Alibris sellers aren't volume dealers, so are much more willing to answer questions or special requests. Amazon small sellers have all but disappeared. If you ask a question of an Amazon seller, you just get back an automated reply that says, owing to the volume of inquiries, we can't answer your question, or the item is in another location and they can't check on it.
