I am happy alibris is not affiliated with Amazon and affords me both relatively low prices with accurate book condition descriptions.
I have been consistently happy with my shopping experience with alibris because it, most importantly, is not affiliated with Amazon and, secondly, has afforded both relatively low prices backed by accurate book condition descriptions reliably guaranteed.

Book finder listed the book as Book price $4.00 Shipping cost $4.49.
Alibris Charged "Item Total" as "$4.43" Shipping cost "$4.49" Est. Tax "$.59" It was impossible to correct the discrepancy between "Book Price" and "Item Total." To even get "$4.43" as a item price was difficult. Other higher prices had shown up well beyond the original $4.00 seen on Bookfinder.
What is going on here?
I am worried at this point of hackings and hackers...not trusting online purchasing with every passing day.
Especially with this experience.
