“No complaints”

I have no complaints. The points add up quickly for doing something I do anyway--driving, and trying to drive safely. I won a $10 gift card the first time I tried an auction.

“Waste of time”

I have been looking at different insurance so thought I'd try and redeem my points. Haven't been able to log into the rewards site for a month. I get the "There may have been an issue with your log in attempt message". I've tried on multiple devices and the site doesn't work. Customer support say's they are working on the problem and it should be fixed shortly. How can a billion dollar company have this type of tech issue for over a month? What a load of crap.

Allstate rewards is basically a marketing tool and there are no rewards. The website is not user friendly and takes too much time and effort to navigate. I think Allstate should discontinue the program and reward automatically for good driving behavior.

Every auction they put out always has a highest bid that I can't imagine anybody would actually have THAT many points to put out there. Currently there is an auction for $1000. 00 gift card, the highest bid is over a million points. I've been in the rewards programs since it started, I have 67,000 points. How do you have over a million points? Can't be real.

It is not really a true reward site. Thousands of people bidding for the same item which is not even worth it. You probably can buy the daily deals Allstate Rewards offer for the same price and not having to use any points through ebay or craigslist. A true reward site will let you use points without having to pay 50% thru 90% out of pocket.

I used my points to purchase a $1000 gift card for a cruise, and no one knows when I will receive my card. Multiple phone calls, all the answer is nothing they can do about it. In the meantime, the cruise price went up and finally got sold out while waiting for a gift card. I am considering canceling my auto and home insurance coverage by Allstate.

I have, for months tried to win some of these daily deals on Allstates rewards site. They clearly do not have anywhere near enough stock to meet the demand for some of these deals. Its so frustrating I'm about to just delete the app altogether... I did get a couple 100 dollar gift cards for 90 though.

I received an email stating I no longer have the option to select redemption options. Such as: a credit on policy, mail a check or to apply to Allstate Rewards option. They will only allow credit on Auto Policy which defeats the purpose of having the rewards program. I can pay my own Auto Insurance.

Tip for consumers:
Read Allstate fine print for the Rewards Program.

Everyday I would get on for a daily deal, and never would be able to get one. For thousands of people there must be one or two daily deals. I find my time is more valuable than sitting down everyday at a certain time, and not being able to get a daily deal. This is really a poor app. I am lead to think it is only about tracking people in their cars. I called to find out about this app and was told there is nothing they can do about it.IT IS A WASTE OF TIME. If this is all Allstate has to offer customers. I want to apologize for them.

Ill admit, i got my "money's worth" i guess. I won 2 auctions for giftcards that were each just below 100k points. One was target, and im not sure the other. Also got several free magazine subscriptions over the years. 1 star, because now they are closing the program, leaving those with big points balances nothing to use them on. That said, you still have 3 months, and you can still get 1 year mag subscriptions for 1000 points each (or 6mo of people mag, which my wife liked), or just shove all your remaining points on sweepstakes that you wont win.

The rewards can't be purchased through the app on the phone and when I search on the laptop on the Allstate site it can't find the Daily Deals. THe rewards are mostly useless. THe good deals ($5 gift cards for popular companies) are gone in seconds. I have been trying for years and have never purchased one. All I can get is stupid magazines that have nothing but pages of ads.

A rewards program should be what it state Rewards. I have over 165,000 points. I would think there should be something I could get free. Amazon is cheaper. I finally stopped looking to redeem those points. I believe Allstate is who the rewards are for.

You only can save anywhere from 10% to 30% on items. You can get the same items on sale on different sites for the same prices including the gift cards offered. They even did away with the daily deal which was the only good deal they had. There are no points only items. You must use cash to supplement the cost.

Since they introduced the max bidding feature where everyone can just put max bidding amount and wait for the auction to end... this caused the points only bids to sky rocket 10 folds typically... so now, 80k points I earned over the years is about worth $2 or so if I am lucky to win any auction. The problem is the flood of points allstate issues and not many items to bid on... so people with 100s of thousands points and don't know what to do with them will just bid everything they have of a lousy $10 gift card just get something out of it. Those of us who have less... well, our points now became completely worthless and this whole promotion is just a waste of time.

Tip for consumers:
Don't bother... don't waste your time. all items can be purchased else where at better discounts.

You have to use your own money along with points to buy items at a discounted price. Even with a point discount $23.00 for a pair of socks is not much of a bargain to me. Generally their discount program is a discount on designer merchandise for women. Their rewards for men are on clothing only, most men want tools, and gizmos, not apparel. The reward program is not a real value for the money. I have 50k+ points that are worthless to me.

How in the world can an one individual have over one million Drivewise Reward points? Is that serioulsy even possible? Maybe I just do not drive enough, but dang I would have to assume these folks are just driving around 24/7. I just noticed that some of the auction bids that have over a million point bid. WOW!... just wow

Ive uninstalled & reinstalled the Allstate app going on 25 times to try to get the rewards to load. Ive called Allstate at least 6 times this mth do far to issue a complaint. All I get is that they will escalate it. The prior Allstate app version worked but this version rarely does. Its extremely frustrating!

Like so much of their computer interfacing systems, their website is broken. I selected the magazines I wanted, went to the cart and selected Checkout, and their dumb site wanted me to log in (I was already logged in, BTW), then went to eternal load mode. Had issues with their Drivewise app as well, it would jump to the front every time I accessed my phone and demand I log in to Drivewise before I could use my phone! Cancelled Drivewise after that; I'm concerned that if their IT department is this clueless perhaps I should start shopping for a new insurance company?

The rewards progam is essentially useless
It's almost impossible to get anything without paying additional out of pocket
The website and, even more so, the Android app, are the absolute worst - they only work occasionally and when they do work, they are abysmally slow and excruciating to navigate

They just stoled $27.27 dollars from me. My hotel receipt from Candlewood Suites in Handover MD total $195.74. However, when I booked the room using my rewards Allstate took $223.01 out of my account. Called them about getting a refund, Theresa said I wasn't due a refund. She said I paid less than the retail price. I would had paid like $260 or more. Well how about i went to the hotel actual website while talking to her and the same room was for $87.49 a night. I told her she was a liar and you all just stoled my $. She also said I wasn't suppose to get a receipt because I already paid for it. Yeah, so I wouldn't see the actual amount being charged. Going straight to the site instead throu the rewards program I would still have my $.

This is a totally insulting and absurd program. You get 10% (if you're lucky) of the value of each "gift card" and have to pay the balance in CASH!
So (in general) a $50 gift card costs you 500 points AND $45 CASH! You cannot use additional points to pay the $45 so if anyone thinks that's a great deal, I have a bridge you would LOVE to buy!

Save yourself the waste of time. Rewards are a joke. They require ridiculous amounts of points. Worst website and awards program I have ever experienced.

Tip for consumers:
Don't even start. The program and the website are a frustrating waste of time. Look at all the negative reviews.

Products used:
Tried to use point several times, but was unable to complete the transaction.

I would love to see proof (screenshot...) of anyone receiving the daily deal gift cards. There is no way one second of hitting the enter key that all items are in cart. Total BS.

Paid almost $600: in a matter of 3 months all three fell apart. Awful rewards system. The rewards offers are equally deplorable: best to buy at your local store in the mall.

I have points built up from years of saving. This is not because I don't want to use them but they are pretty much useless. I'm not sure why they even run this program.

Save 50% more than what they have listed on their website. Allstate is a scam, every product listed as DISCOUNTED using their points is WAY more than what is listed on other retailers websites. Allstate is trying to make money by selling stuffs with markup by disguising that its discounted for you. DONT GET FOOLED!
SOME PRODUCTS EVEN $50 MARKUP AFTER THEIR "DISCOUNT"!

Tip for consumers:
Dont use ALLstate

Allstaterewards is A huge waste of time. Don't even bother trying to redeem, because you have to spend more money just to redeem stuff. You can get free magazines, which nobody wants.
