“No complaints”

I have no complaints. The points add up quickly for doing something I do anyway--driving, and trying to drive safely. I won a $10 gift card the first time I tried an auction.

“Waste of time”

I have been looking at different insurance so thought I'd try and redeem my points. Haven't been able to log into the rewards site for a month. I get the "There may have been an issue with your log in attempt message". I've tried on multiple devices and the site doesn't work. Customer support say's they are working on the problem and it should be fixed shortly. How can a billion dollar company have this type of tech issue for over a month? What a load of crap.

So they have this gimmick where you can get a free giftcard under their daily deal. I literally waited until exactly when the timer ran out and hit the "add to card" and they were already sold out. In literally 1 second. How is this even possible? Such a waste of time, and it has me so frustrated and mad. I have tried this multiple times and ALWAYS get the "ALL ITEMS ARE IN CARTS" response. What a scam! I'm willing to bet they have only 1 giftcard available, IF THAT. So you have 200 people trying to get the same 1 available 5 dollar giftcard. What a bunch of BS. You would think they would try to at least have a decent amount in stock so EVERYONE has a chance to get one. I'm willing to bet its just a gimmick to try to get some fools to buy the other overpriced crap on their site that you can buy anywhere else for less than what they are asking WITHOUT their useless points! The whole thing is nothing more than a lottery. Who knows maybe if you waste enough time, you may be that luicky guy or gal who clicks at the right millisecond and gets that 5 dollar gift card! Woo hoo! DONE wasting my time with this!

I have yet to be able to get into Allstate Rewards. I don't think it exists. The link they give me on my email is useless. Kinda like Allstate Rewards.

There have been about 3 of the Daily Deals that I have actually been interested in. I sat at my computer and watched the countdown clock tick down to 0 and immediately clicked the "add to cart" button the instant it appeared only to be told that "all items are already in carts".

WHAT!? *%#@

How is this possible? I literally clicked the "add to cart" button as soon as it was possible. And every last item is already gone. That means they sold out BEFORE the deal was made available.

I've gone in just to see if I was able to add anything to my cart ever. Tried adding stuff I wasn't even interested in. The only thing that has ever been available is some book or magazine with Michelle Obama on the cover. I guess no one else is actually interested in reading about her either. Interestingly it has come up as a Daily Deal several times and has never sold out. They must have a warehouse full of unwanted Michelle Obama books.

The only time a Daily Deal doesn't instantly sell out BEFORE it becomes available it is something nobody wants.

Boooooo Allstate. That's right. I "boo'd" you.

I'm so annoyed I found this website just so I could vent.

In one envelope I only received 1 of 3 purchases, yet the packing slip said all 3 were included. The two items missing were two sets of 2 movie tickets.

It is an annoying program, with very little chance to be able to click on the link when the daily deal comes at 3pm (as it is delayed in refreshing)...

I don't really consider meager discounts to be considered rewards, and what selection there is, is very minimal.

If Allstate cannot fund a real rewards program, they should have the basic corporate decency to simply not have one. Points are worthless. Period.

This is NOT a rewards program. The stuff are discounted, and still not a bargain. What an insult to our intelligence. Either the MOST STUPID people created this or they they that WE are dumb.

You only get the Allstate Rewards points if you are already in the Allstate Big Brother driving program and it doesn't cost you anything, so that bumps the rating from 1 to 2 stars, but just barely. I have over 390,000 points and they are worth all of 10 bucks. They can only be used to get discounts on items to buy. Well, let me tell you these discounts are no discounts at all. One offer is to buy a $50 Carmike Theater gift card for only $40! Wow, that's a 20% discount that you get for spending your points. Well, I can also go to my local Sam's Club and get the same $50 gift card for $37.50... a 25% discount. Then there is the Kate Spade purse that my wife likes that you can spend more points on and get it for $125! (That's $75 off or so they say). Amazon sells the same purse for $69... shipped 2nd day. Err... that's overpaying by 81%. Then there are the auctions. At last check, my 390k points *MIGHT* score me a $50 gift card to Best Buy on the right day, but only if I get lucky.

Again, it is free to you, and as long as you pick items that aren't actually overpriced, you may be able to score a bit of a discount, but frankly your time is worth something, isn't it?

They send us emails almost daily for their Rewards program, where it prods you to go to the site to play stupid games to win points & shop a bunch of overpriced junk with discounts using those points. They also push you to use your points for "daily deals", which some days are the only thing actually worth anything on their site anymore since they took away the ability to use your points for coupons on local deals. There will sometimes be $5 gift cards to popular places that only require you to use 500 points, but you have to add it to your cart exactly at the second those start, or they'll be gone. I've done this over a dozen times the last 2 months, setting an alarm & waiting for the exact second on their countdown until it begins to add it to cart, but their site always glitches, mostly it goes blank with a little notice that says it's unable to process anything "at this time" & by the time the page comes back, the deal is already used up. One time it showed the add to cart button as available for a few minutes but it wouldn't respond at all. (See screenshot) Completely a waste of time. I have almost 400k points for absolutely nothing now. Accruing points is totally useless unless you want to lock into some magazine subscription using just points the first year, that they will eventually charge you an arm & a leg for after you forget to cancel it, or for minimal discounts off of the junk they sell, most of which you could get cheaper off Amazon in the first place. Not even going to try anymore. No reason to since they pulled the Local Deals coupons & their site can't function during the only other thing that was worthwhile. Why even have a rewards program if it doesn't work for those trying to use it? They need to allow us to cash all those points in for discounts on the ridiculous amounts we pay them for insurance or just stop the stupid rewards program altogether.

Allstate Rewards is easily the worst rewards program I've ever used. The website is clunky and there's rarely anything worth getting. Yuk!

The only decent "rewards" are snapped up immediately and apparently very few are available in the first place. Not worth the bother.

Your points get you really tiny discounts on gift cards, not actual gift cards. It's not a rewards program at all.
