Found a good value hotel at the right time. Employee called me and assisted with booking and set up for payment. Had another phone call shortly after from someone else trying to do the same thing. Haven't travelled yet so not finished yet.
Paid for 11 rooms arrived at hotel only 10 booked, owner of hotel wanted extra £300 from me even though I had 11 accommodation vouchers. Customer service is a joke saying they'd sort it but they didn't.

Cancelled my booked room within days of arriving - offered an inferior replacement which I declined. Now weeks later and still not got a refund - contacted them on 4 occasions now without reply.
Happy to take your money but won't deliver on their advertised products... please avoid at all costs.
In the days when most of hotels portals have free cancellation fee up to 48 hours prior reservation alpha rooms charging. 30.00 euro per person per reservation. Be careful if you booking anything for more than 2 people you might be better off book another hotel or change your flights!
Alpha rooms agent Sylvester made everything so easy for me. Very helpful understanding n courteous. Could not have been any more helpful. Delighted with my experience n will definitely be booking thru Alpharooms again.
And i travel a lot! Alpha room are fab! The best bit is they will always price match if you find something cheaper with out any long winded processes! They just make life so easy which is what everyone wants when going on holiday!

Booked our little break and were initially delighted as encouraged to pay in 3 instalments with only £1 then another 2 instalments later. After completing this booking we see that a charge of £4.95 will be taken with each instalment. Rather misleading to say the least therefore disappointed.
I had never found or used AlphaRooms until my Mother in Law forwarded me the Link. It produced the very competitive result that we will enjoy in October. Clearly the other, so called independent, comparison sites are not what they "expensively" claim to be. There would appear to be massive collusion between sites and hotels/airlines/etc ie a de facto cartel!

We are due to travel this week and as soon as our flights were cancelled 10 days ago we have been trying to contact them. I have emailed numerous times with no reply. I have done online reviews that are obviously not great and you get a quick response promising contact but nothing still. This morning I eventually managed to get on the live chat function, but guess what theres nothing live about it. Nearly 2 hours later and all I have been told is they are looking at my booking... it's a 3 night hotel only, nothing complex about it... we will now be contacting our credit card company to try and get our money back. No telephone line to contact them unless you want to book a holiday... Don't do it, take your business to somewhere that has customer service
I have used Alpharooms many times over recent years however my trip in Dec. 2020 will be the last time. Accommodation and transfers were booked with Alpharooms and unfortunately the airline changed the flight day. We contacted Alpharooms to request a change of hotel to airport transfer which they agreed they would arrange however they failed to do this so no transfer turned up. We contacted customer service and were told to take a taxi at our expense (1 hour taxi journey) and claim it back on our arrival in the UK. Several emails and a letter have failed to bring a response or the refund. Don't waste your money booking with this company as they will not refund if there is any problems.
Please avoid booking with alpharooms.com very dishonest site and horrible people to deal with you will definitely not get the accommodation you pay for or probably none on arrival as for refund it's deep in there pockets, there a bunch of thieves.
Booked a stay with AlphaRooms. Found same room cheaper with another company. They would not price match and refund difference. Will not be booking with AlphaRooms again. Read the small print hidden in there website it is full of unfair terms.
Booked a holiday and been trying to get someone to answer my query since first week of December, left over forty messages, sent over twenty emails and called 47 times and all I'm told is that they will speak to the hotel and call me back but they don't. Terrible absolutely awful customer service.
The care only to get your money! No customer service at all! Be aware! Absolute shocking service! Website had issues, information not clear, £1 deposit ***** you in before making clear the cancellation conditions and amendment policies... have always used ****************** and Expedia before, had to book through Alpharooms as part of a group will NEVER book with Alpharooms again!
Booked early Jan, now told 3 different reasons why hotel is cancelled.No alternative offered and hotel is still available but at way higher price. This site is a con and call routed to India where told to take a refund or keep the flights, no email or number for senior manager given despite asking numerous times. Avoid at all costs!
I have tried 2 different cards to make a payment and both declined. There is nothing wrong with either card - their site just keeps declining them. How am I supposed to pay the balance? Had to repeat the postcode to the phone operator based abroad 5 times and she was still getting it wrong... a painful and time consuming booking - I wont be using them again
Please do your research before using Alpharooms for a Holiday... They are really helpful on booking and taking your money but then all customer care goes out the window.
We were out of pocket and owed money but they refuse to cooperate and all emails are ignored...
Please stay clear I dont want you to experience the same problems.

This has happened 5 times now. This time I have been offered an hotel in a different resort 24 km away this is a con trick. I am stuck as I have already booked my flight. I want something done about it but alpharooms just ignore all my attempts to resolve the matter
Short summary: This company, Alpharooms should not be allowed to function! Extremely poor/actually, non existent customer service and after 14 months of chasing for a refund, numerous emails and calls still not refund. Next step is to contact my lawyer! DO NOT book your holiday with this company... it's only waste of time and headaches!

Given the booking is for August 2018 - 9 months away... I think it's a bit much...
I understand you would be charged for amending your booking... but guess half of it would have been enough...

I started using Alpharooms services since 2012 and have booked my summer vacation several times, always at great prices at 4 stars properties and everytime got the best service.
Booking process was easy and smooth and payment scheme very convenient, secure and reliable.

1 star is far too good for Alpha Rooms. Done use them. This company is an absolute joke and fraudulent. They charged me £1 to book hotel rooms. However the next day less that 24 hours later I had to cancel as unable to get flights Alpha rooms told me they would charge me £30 per person for cancellation charges - total of £60. The terms and conditions are called Agency Terms of Business and not easy to find. I spoke to the hotel direct and was told there were no rooms available. I tired to call Alpha rooms only to be held in a queue and then cut off. This happened 4 times. I e mailed them but they insisted that I had to call them to cancel. When I finally got through they I tried to explain there were no available rooms however they still insisted on taking the £60
Was booking for my short break. Tried get low price and I made a mistake... I'm traveling with my daughter. Had to pay extra 60 euros for changing only dates! That was my last time I booked through you. And you lost bunch of customers, because my friends booking through you as well. I'll tell them...

No prob with booking process but I do t think people realise that there is a charge of £4:95 for each payment made on the account. Was disappointed to go online the day after I booked and the same booking was £64 cheaper on Alpharooms. Also, in comparison to other sites, the cancellation policy is very punitive! Loss of deposit plus £30fee per person.
