Found a good value hotel at the right time. Employee called me and assisted with booking and set up for payment. Had another phone call shortly after from someone else trying to do the same thing. Haven't travelled yet so not finished yet.

Paid for 11 rooms arrived at hotel only 10 booked, owner of hotel wanted extra £300 from me even though I had 11 accommodation vouchers. Customer service is a joke saying they'd sort it but they didn't.

Carlos, Carlos handled my booking and flight transfer, called me when I was busy with college as stated in all my emails. Took extremely long time as well as calling me 4 times in one night. This request was made two weeks ago, after 7 calls and various angry emails my request was finally completed. Really unprofessional customer service work.

Using alpharooms could not be easier. Very simple to use website. Very wide choice of hotels from around the world. All at bargain prices. Much better to use than trivago who take you to a random company you have never heard of.

My call to a London number resulted in me talking to a man whose grasp of English was so poor that I could not understand him and he seemed to have great difficulty in understanding me. I wanted to book a room for me and my wife and two to other rooms for single friends. I was to pay the bill for all. Complete chaos ensued. So many attempts were made to draw money from my credit card that the card company stopped it, suspecting fraud, and I had to phone them to sort it out. I had to supply
3 email addresses and names resulting in three confirmations booking with wrong names. The bills are part paid in full, part to be paid in instalments and part just before the visit. My complaint to the customer service resulted in me being asked to pay £30 per name to correct the errors. Again this communication needed use of the phonetic code to understand each other. There is even more to this but I think enough here to make my point.
My advice keep away

First time using alpharooms, upon recommendation.
I found the use of the site very easy to navigate
And Tailor made my perfect holiday.
Very competitive prices.
Definitely will be using alpharooms from now on.

We have no lift in hotel. No bathroom door. No mirrored dressing table. One plug socket in between pillows on bed. No wardrobe doors either. I would not sell this room to anyone if I were an Agent/Booker.

Worst company I have ever dealt with (and I work in the middle east). I was due a refund which they fully acknowledged however after months of emails and calls being ignored it was only when I raised a court case against them that they responded and sent the refund. I would rather not bother with a hotel and sleep on the beach than have to deal with Alpharooms again.

Site is easy enough to use and book a room. However, if something goes wrong with your booking, don't expect this company to get it sorted. My hotel closed due to coronavirus. The hotel stated they would be willing to give me accommodation at another of their hotel, all they required was Alpharooms to contact them so they could modify the booking. I have contacted Alpharooms customer service numerous times, after being kept on hold for 30-40 mins each time. My issue still isn't resolved. They weren't even aware that the hotel had closed. They just take your money, book the room then forget about you. Will never use again!

I have been using alpharooms for 5 years and never had any problems. They download my boarding passes extra 10 p0unds hotels as advertised transfers quick transfer to my hotel was mercedes with 3 other people at hotel in 20 minutes same on return to malaga airport

Tip for consumers:
i have no problems using this site phone and pay never any problems

I had an issue with a booking that I made and needed to change my booking the agent I spoke to could not have been more helpful at one point even putting me on conference call so that I could talk to the hotel in person the agent could not be more helpful as I needed a hotel with disabled access.He did all the hard work for me calling at least 4 hotels to ask for ground floor rooms and called me back twice within the time frame he gave.

£49 charge to cancel a £150 hotel booking 3 months before departure. No reply to my messages sent via the website for 2 weeks. 35 minute wait times on the phone and unhelp staff. Do not use.
Stick to reputable companies like booking.com or travel republic

Booked hotell with alpharooms paid for hotel on internet price next day money went out of bank 2 days later they phoned me to say the price has gone up so you got to pay extra or we will send refund and cancel your booking bunch of wasters dont book with them they use other internet companies to make your booking read there small print first before considering this company

The cost and availability is liable to change as we operate a live booking system with a variety of accommodation providers and prices can go up as well as down.

Overbooked our room and not telling us until 3 days prior to arriving - not even offered a suitable replacement. Cost me an extra £200 to book same hotel room that they said was overbooked. Absolute Cowboys - a costly lesson learned... Stick with the reputable companies.

Customer Service = non existent.

Now that it's illegal to charge for paying by credit/debit card, Alpharooms are calling it an 'admin fee'. £4.95 for each payment is just not on. You don't find this out until after you book! We have booked with Apharooms many times but, although their prices are often cheaper, they are recouping the difference with their admin charges. I pity people who need to pay for their holidays in installments as this could really mount up.

I have been using this company for nearly 7 years; no problems with a simple to use web site offering multiple choices of hotels in many different countries. Able to review your account at any time and complete full payment in the knowledge that you have booked a great price.and so i would definetly recommend this company for all your holiday travels.

Changed my booking date/hotel. Customer service guy was really lovely and rebooked new hotel. And date. Explained everything clear nothing was too much trouble so I gave his details to my sister who booked for 4 people at the same hotel

I booked a hotel with this company and when I got there they had no booking confirmation. I contacted alpha rooms and they said there was nothing g they could do. I had to pay again at reception. I have been a emailing alpha rooms constantly with little reply only to make excuses to get rid of me

Well overall presentation and user friendly website.
Clear and comprehensive offer presentation.
Photo download a bit slow, and sometimes unavailable for some.
Research by hotel name not very performing.

We used alpharooms to book the accomodation for our next break. The site was easy to use & the transaction completed quickly. As an extra bonus the room was a lot cheaper than on other sites. Will definitely use them again.

I booked the room 5 minutes after I had a call from someone saying the payment hasn't gone through while I was on the phone I checked my bank and the payment is clearly gone, but they were admit I needed to pay again to secure the room. Haven't heard anything since. Either they tried to get me to pay twice or they don't store our details very securely.

Web site was frustrating when altering my booking. Wouldn't let me confirm several times despite all correct details. Received a call several days later from customer support and had the most unintelligible conversion I have ever had. I didn't understand one single word that was said. I think I was ripped off 270 for the pleasure of changing my booking that was paid in full for a holiday that is in eight months time. Like how much notice do you need?

Booked Tenerife in August for myself husband 3 children 13, 12, 11. Flew out on the 4/10/18, shuttle bus dropped us off at a derelict hotel in the middle of nowhere at 10 pm at night my children were terrified and highly upset, we followed a woman into a complex with more or less the same name only to be left locked into a private complex, only for a woman who helped us with everything even down to a room for the night which she charged us for alpharooms did absolutely nothing to help us in a strange country only said they would book another hotel for us but we would have to pay again, I would advise people not to book anything with them even down to airport transfers which we had to get a taxi

Avoid this underhanded company take your money elsewhere they do not deserve the business from your hard earnt cash totally will do anything to avoid giving genuine refunds just drag you along with automated emails

I've had problems with them after staying in a hotel that accepted 150 students and kept us and dozens of other guests awake until 5am... for two nights running! I accept that's not Alpharooms responsibility but I submitted a complaint (whilst in residence) and only had a "standard" reply saying they would reply within 28 days. Guess what? They didn't and I had to chase them and all I got back was lies... avoid at all costs and pay just a little bit more to go through a reputable channel!
