I live in Slovakia and am an avid runner. Altra running shoes are an American company that makes high quality running shoes with "zero drop" construction. These shoes are expensive to purchase internationally, so when I saw what looks like a legitimate Slovak website, with all the official branding, selling older models at a discounts I jumped at the opportunity. The first red flag was that the charge on my account came from a company called Shreemukha, with a location in Krakow, Poland. I was worried but optimistic, but then the shipment came through from "China Post" which very questionable tracking info. Over three months later, with multiple inquiries, I was told that the shipment must have been lost and the best they could do is a 40% refund. Why only 40%? I payed 100% which was my end of the deal, and I received nothing. That was on them and not at all my fault, not to mention a 60% penalty for no wrong doing.
As with the original shipment (that was likely never shipped in the first place) they explained that "Because each refund needs to be confirmed manually by the bank. It's a little bit slow.
Generally, the refund takes 7-15 working days. However, sometimes the refund time will delay up to few working days because the different countries will take different time. The refund had been processed at our country, but it will take a little time to transfer to your bank at your country and then transfer to your account."
I can smell a pile of BS, especially when it's this close. I'll likely never get any money back, and certainly will never get shoes. This site is a 100% unadulterated scam. DO NOT WASTE your money. Head to the official https://www.altrarunning.eu/eu/ and get your shoes from the source.
