It is always a pleasure shopping on the Amazon India website. I find the process very very simple and the delivery is so prompt. They let you know when the items will arrive and till now - every time, it has arrived within the time frame mentioned by them.
I have been a customer of Amazon India for quite a few years now. I live abroad and usually place orders before my arrival. My delivery destination is Panaji-Goa. In the past, I have had a couple of problems with deliveries which were reported to your customer service and refund issued but they were minor compared to other one I just had to go through. I have had a very nasty experience with your service for the orders I placed in August and September of 2024. Following are the dates with order amounts: 10/08/24 – Rs 3,793.35 26/08/24 – Rs 5,645.00 02/09/24 – Rs 19,382.00 06/09/24 – Rs 3,149.25 Just so you know, this totals to Rs 31,969.60 of which I received a refund of Rs 18,037. This amounts to a staggering 56%. Only one order of Rs 2,450 was a result of Seller not being able to source the product I ordered while the rest of them were because the final delivery could not be made. This puts down the Refund % due to Amazon Initiated Returns at 53%. All of the refunds are shown as RETURNS by Customer while in reality it is because your staff was not able to make the final delivery. I was in constant touch with your customer service and each time they told me that the item has been damaged during shipment. I don't think this is true because your excellent tracking system shows the item was received at final distribution location in PANAJI-GOA. I cant believe that someone in customer service hasn't noticed that 53% of my orders were as a result of Returns Initiated by Amazon. With so many of my orders being returned by your delivery staff, I feel that I was being selectively targeted. I don't know anyone who works at Amazon India, let alone at the distribution center in Panaji-Goa so I cannot understand why I was being targeted. Regards
I am a regular customer of amazon and no much bitter experiences from them. But recently I purchased a water purifier and the received item was entirely different from which shown and described in the web site. So I tried to return it. But, then I came to know that some items will not be picked by amazon, so we have to return it on our own risk by other couriers. It gives struggles to buyers due to return, delay for waiting to refund, reorder, and many mess-ups. Since this item was very urgent for me, I was compelled to use this sub-standard item.
I think amazon is not taking any action on those sellers.

In my experience it is one of best shopping site and is highly trusted. Because one of my friend bought shoes from Amazon. But it has a small damage. When he asked them to return. When at evening his money refunded but they didn't took back their product. Thus my friend got his money back without any risk

After one episode they repeated the same again with the next order of MI laptop.
And when I cancelled the extended warranty because the laptop order was cancelled by amazon around their own whims of exchange policy. ( even after the product satisfies all criterion for exchange they refuse to pick it up), guess what the xustomer care tells I will get a refund after they receive the product. There was a person to pick up the same at my door also!##$$.

I ordered a HP pavilion with exchange offer on 02/03/21 and expected delivery on 04/03/21.
The delivery executive was not sure of the discoloration between the screen and keypad on the laptop being exchanged and hence asked us to register for redelivery on customer care.
I called customer care and was told that the redelivery will be completed in 24_48 hrs. But i saw that the status on my app displayed that a refund isbeing issued.
I again called customer.er care and was again assured a redelivery, both times no mail was sent to me to confirm.
Yesterday I kept waiting at home to receive the laptoo and today morning i received a mail requesting a review for the product not yet delivered.
I again had to call customer care and finally one executive who pathetically displayed his empathy ( but was definitely not helpful just like all his previous colleagues) let it out that the order is cancelled and refund will be issued to original Payment mode in 3_4 working days.
I needed the laptop for working and I am not just disappointed but annoyed at angry at tgis apathy and pathetic customer care and lack of feedback.

I purchased Cacao and it was supplied with no outer packaging, resulting in cracked package and spillage of the Cacao powder.
Amazon neither replaced nor refunded and didn't offer any customer service at all. Amazon deleted my online feedback as the remark was unfavorable to Amazon.

Is Amazon officially duping its customers?
Had heard stories about customers receiving toys instead of the high end mobiles and electronic gadgets they had ordered from Amazon but experienced it personally for the first time. Had ordered a Tagg Verve smartwatch in Amazon big Diwali sale. For several days they kept silly dallying about the delivery of the product since the sale had got over and the price had been hiked. Finally I received a parcel delivered by a suspicious looking delivery executive who said Amazon had expedited the delivery. Paid the delivery executive who claimed he was Laxman (also took his photo) Rs 1999 through Amazon Pay link. However 2 minutes later, I was in for Rude shock when I saw toys in the parcel instead of the Tagg verve watch I had ordered. We chased the delivery boy and clicked his photos with the parcel and also complained to Amazon. Am still waiting for refund to be processed.

Amazon.in - they are selling expired, dirty, dangerous & harmful edible products online. I had purchased Alpen Muesli online, which I gave to one of my relatives as they sent normal muesli instead of sugar free. They had the muesli the 1st day without any suspicion. The next day they had stomach infection. When they checked the jar in which the muesli was put, it was full of tiny worms. They obviously threw the same in the thrash immediately, however the damage was already done. On complaining to Amazon, they refused to do anything about it, in fact I had also written a detailed review, which they refused to publish on their website.
In the interest of the citizens & their health & wellbeing, I feel at least they should be banned from selling any edible products online, though their product quality in most non-edible products is also extremely poor & sub-standard, which is not the case in most other countries.

Duplicate, fake items. I live in U. S my husband get some shehnaz diamond facial kits for me on his India visit last week. When I saw it has weird and untidy packaging I doubted I opened I saw it's all duplicateTubes filled with dirty gel smells rotten. All tubes have fake sticker on each tube as shown in picture. When we tried to reach the seller. He disappeared from this website. And when we contacted customer service they just Ignored as they don't know anything. All the dumbhead fools sitting on the Customer service. Don't buy anything from this site. Save your money! I lost my 4000 Rs on this untrustworthy site.

I ordered a fan from seller RetailEZ Private Ltd on 2nd September 2022. It was a same day rush order delivery. It has yet not even been dispatched till 21st September 2022. I have pressed the cancel button at least 20 times but it just says "Attempting to Cancel"
In the meanwhile I have contacted Amazon at least 10 times on chat and phone to try and cancel the order and get the refund. So far nothing has worked. They just keep on making false promises. It was a good company once but not it has turned into a lethargic company where people do nothing else other than to lie to customers.
Tip for consumers:
Please stay away. They will take your money, not deliver the product and then they will not refund the money also.

As a prime member, I have been using Amazon services in India and overseas for a long time. But the recent incident made me rethink regarding availing the services again. Recently, during my vacation in Noida India, I requested a refund for my order. Consequently, there was a pick up of the delivered product, but the pick man was very rude and acted like a local goon. He came 2 times for pickup. On the first visit, he misguided me and told me that the product he had come to pick up was of a different color by showing one of the different color product pictures. The second time, when I asked him why he misguided me, he became quite rude and started abusing me in front of my house and was not ready to leave the property despite repeated instructions by me to leave the property. I have CCTV footage regarding the incident. I hope Amazon will take steps accordingly as the only automated reply I got from their customer service and the head team is that 'you are our precious customer and they will take strong action against the pickup agent', but until now there has been no action and when I asked them about the status they told me that it is an internal matter which shows how serious they are regarding the incident and don't care about the customer. I am planning to go legal and also posting the CCTV footage on the internet to aware the other customers regarding this rowdy pick up agent.

Does anyone know what happened to the orders quoted below? I called the courier, who doesn't answer, I chatted several times with Amazon customer service, and I DIDN'T RECEIVE ANYTHING.
Please, note that this is a guest house open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so the recipient is never absent. No one at the reception has seen the courier for these deliveries.
The customer service tells lies very kindly, and today one of the order results *undeliverable*, one *delivered* but it is not true. We have also several non existent delivery attempts. This is a fraud for customers, for sellers and for the company: do something!
Beside, the Amazon delivery telephone line says today that there are no deliveries for me. Ridiculous people, change jobs!

I ordered Gionee F205. I got the confirmation that order would be delivered with in 2 days. On the second day at 10 pm, I received message that order is again delayed for 2 days. I frentically called Amazon customer service, but not even once my call was answered. Amazon is the worst company when it comes to customer support. They have reduced cost by making things automated but their Automated message doesn't give any satisfactory answer

I am Tushar Jadhav facing bad experience with amazon india service. I have placed an order of Moto e 2nd Gen 4G mobile on 2nd March 2016 which offered me for Rs. 5999 which actual costs Rs. 6999. It is expected to delivered within next two days. But till today, it is not yet dispatched and I have contacted customer care 6 times since I have placed an order, but they don't have an idea about my order and what is happening at their inventory. Can anybody expect this type of answer from India's leading e-commerce online shopping company? I am extremely disappointed with amazon service. Now, they expect from me to cancel that order and place new order which cost me now Rs. 6999 which is Rs. 1000 extra. They deny to offer me mobile in same cost if I go for new order. It is prepaid order which I had placed earlier. Now, I want to take legal action against this approach of amazon. Can anybody let me know the procedure to take legal action in this case? I ordered a Strob Note counting machine through Amazon.in. They took advance payment and sent a defective machine. When I complained to them they said I mishandled the machine and hence they have no liability. On threatening to take the vendor and amazon to court they gave a refund. When I wrote a review on amazon they refused to publish it. Beware of spurious sellers of unbranded goods.

I purchased an LG9KG Washing machine product no: Order# **************900, Amazon specified various product features/options on the site,
I was impressed with those features like restart, child lock and I bought that product as I trusted Amazon.
I got shocked when the installer installing the product, installer revealed that washing doesn't have a child lock feature.
Amazon displayed the wrong product details to attract customers and Amazon help care people are refusing to take the responsibility for their fault. The help center person insisted me to organize a Job card from their Vendor LG. Why should i fight with LG when i didn't buy it from LG directly.
Amazon should pay compensation to me as they bluffed me with the wrong product details.
They crossed me and insulted me very badly please see the attached screens.

It's a good site to fight against the fraud Vendors/Service Providers, at least some other customer won't be cheated and won't lose money if we lodge compalints in sitejabber.
