It is always a pleasure shopping on the Amazon India website. I find the process very very simple and the delivery is so prompt. They let you know when the items will arrive and till now - every time, it has arrived within the time frame mentioned by them.

“Amazon India - Horrible experience with delivery”

I have been a customer of Amazon India for quite a few years now. I live abroad and usually place orders before my arrival. My delivery destination is Panaji-Goa. In the past, I have had a couple of problems with deliveries which were reported to your customer service and refund issued but they were minor compared to other one I just had to go through. I have had a very nasty experience with your service for the orders I placed in August and September of 2024. Following are the dates with order amounts: 10/08/24 – Rs 3,793.35 26/08/24 – Rs 5,645.00 02/09/24 – Rs 19,382.00 06/09/24 – Rs 3,149.25 Just so you know, this totals to Rs 31,969.60 of which I received a refund of Rs 18,037. This amounts to a staggering 56%. Only one order of Rs 2,450 was a result of Seller not being able to source the product I ordered while the rest of them were because the final delivery could not be made. This puts down the Refund % due to Amazon Initiated Returns at 53%. All of the refunds are shown as RETURNS by Customer while in reality it is because your staff was not able to make the final delivery. I was in constant touch with your customer service and each time they told me that the item has been damaged during shipment. I don't think this is true because your excellent tracking system shows the item was received at final distribution location in PANAJI-GOA. I cant believe that someone in customer service hasn't noticed that 53% of my orders were as a result of Returns Initiated by Amazon. With so many of my orders being returned by your delivery staff, I feel that I was being selectively targeted. I don't know anyone who works at Amazon India, let alone at the distribution center in Panaji-Goa so I cannot understand why I was being targeted. Regards

I have never come across a worse online shopping platform than Amazon.in. I had ordered a mobile phone (Order No-**************158) on 26th Aug '19. Paid Rs 9,999- via my credit card (Citi) and waited for the delivery, which they said would be after 3-4 days (28th to 30th Aug '19). In the meantime I was in touch with them, almost every day, via the phone, just to ensure that the date they mentioned was correct so I should not miss the delivery, as I was scheduled to travel out of the city. On the final date of delivery, when I did not hear from them nor receive the item, I called them. Their excuse was that they had not received the money. This was not true as, when I checked with my credit card dept, the money and been taken. After many pingpong emails later, over the past months, Amazon promised to refund the money but only once the "back office" had done some investigation. Its now been 4 months. My money has been taken, I have not recd the item, and now their latest email states that they can do nothing but will be happy to cooperate with the police! Every time I email them for the refund they show no sense of responsibility--probably thinking that as a customer there's very little I can do! After this incident, why am I not surprised to hear more and more cases of back stabbing by Amazon.in?

I recently ordered 6 Room heater through Amazon India. Out of 6, only 1 room heater was delivered and that too without manufacturer's box. I raised complaint on this delivery issue. I was told that the investigation will be done on it. After a week when I enquired, I was told that the items were delivered as ordered and they can not do anything on it. But 5 items were missed in the delivery. I tried to contact customer support multiple times. But they did not bother to resolve my undelivered item issue. They said that this is the max they can do on this order and abruptly disconnected my call when I tried to ask them the remedy to solve it. I think Amazon India have trained their customer support reps to respond like this if they encounter any delivery related issues.

I found that Amazon India did not bother if any delivery issue happens on the items ordered in their website. In my case I am not sure whether my order was not handled properly at their Warehouse, or it was mishandled during the delivery transit. I was under impression that Amazon India will take the full responsibility till the ordered Items are delivered to the destination address. But Amazon India is not bothered to take any responsibility till its delivery to the destination address.

I have been making lot of purchase via Amazon India with the hope that it is secured, and the delivery will be handled properly. I am also an Amazon Prime member. All my previous orders were delivered properly. But the recent experience with them makes me realize that if any issue happens on the delivery, Amazon India will not bother to handle it for us.

After his purchase I am totally disappointed with the irresponsible customer service provided by Amazon India. Hence forth I decided not to purchase any items through Amazon India.

Be careful while making purchase via Amazon India. They dont bother to address our delivery issues if something goes wrong in the transit. Stay away from Amazon India.

I ordered items on amazon.in thrice the first two got cancelled without any call from the courier service or Amazon, just got an email and refund policy terms. The third time because it was valentine's day I paid extra money to be delivered it on valentine's day wrote my whole address and they accepted my order money was deducted then I get a call in the middle of the day that my pincode is not available for delivery, we call customer care the first time they agreed it to be delivered I have it on phone record we were assured by Ms. Supriya and once we disconnected the call the order was cancelled within seconds of disconnection of call we called again, Mr. Prashant gave us some stupid answers we asked for escalation call to a superior Mr. Jagdeep talked to us for more than the time accepted with no solution and just a sorry, no refund, no delivery, no service to be satisfied with and then disconnected the call on my face saying this issue is just going round and round and with no courtesy he disconnected the call on my face. I am so disappointed with how you people handle customers and thier issues... I am disgusted of how I was treated and with no solution I am stuck my valentine day was ruined felt like you people don't know the feeling of love or your customers. Please it's a humble request that being a multi-intrenational company you should be more considerate. Thank you Sejal Patel

Dear sir/ mam,

Myself Bibin baby i ordered Diapper for my childrens online from Amazon this month the order ID is Tracking ID: ************** and Order # **************566 and Sold By: R K WorldInfocom pvt ltd. Actualy i am working in dubai and to my home addrss in india, kerala i make the deliver address. The item i ordered is umtum Chota Bheem Baby Diaper Pants with Leakage Protection - 12 to 18 Kg (X-Large, 54 Count, Pack of 2), this item i ordered 3 Quantity and only one set only i came. In kerala i parents was there and when it delivered my parents told items came and and didnt noticed the quantity and all and last week when it finish then only i get to know that item was not fully delivered. And iwhen immediately i contact the customer care through chat but they refused to undwrstand my problem. And my problem was i am in dubai and i can't call the customer care directly. Any one there to solve my consern issue. Amazon can contact the delivery company and distibuter to check there system at leat to verify it. But i have the bad experiance with the chat customer people. That also one chat 4- 5 people will change in between and i have to explain everything to again and again.
So please consider my issue and replay me back.

What I can say..., this is most annoying frustrating experience I had buying on Amazon... I am not a happy man not all!
First time I was told to send shipping receipt to cs amazon which I did on 14/08/2019 so the refund will be processed in 2 to 3 days
Second time on 17/08/2019 I contacted when package got delivered I was again tricked with lie that I will get refund 5 days from delivered date which was 23rd August 201,
Which in fact didn't happened so I contacted back third time and associate said she will issue a refund right away of order cost and your return shipping charge which later she claimed successfully issued on 28 august 2019 on her email confirmation..., which turned out to be nothing but again a trick lie as refund didn't happen as claimed will be credited to bank account by 3 September 2019.
Then I contacted back 8/09/2019 and was put through numerous associates with nothing but lies after lies when I demanded bank transaction reference number id... Which I was positive was never initiated at first place.
Finally when I refused to give up..., lead associate admitted that transaction was never initiated..., as seller has not initiated the refund.
So demanded an apology email with all measures which would be taken on this wrong habit of lying and false assurances which has been practiced among the Amazon customer contact associates..., so that other customer doesn't suffer or go through this annoying agonizing frustrating trauma with Amazon customer care as me.
Post email there was refund request send to seller by I associate..., but then I said that I received a confirmation email stating as below

The seller has initiated the refund for your order **************931
The seller authorized the request on 13/8/19.
Did the seller resolve your issue? Yes no
(We'll share this feedback with the seller to help them improve their service in the future)
I again confirm lead associate if this is another lie...! He said its error on system front...; further confirming will get response from seller in 2 days processing refund
And now today 09/09/2019 what I receive is another automated email from seller on return shipping
*** What made them all to lie..., is this some kind of big scam of looting stealing customer money along with seller... in case customer somehow ignore refund emails and bank statements... this can be some serious unclaimed tricked money!
Hope JEFF BEZOS can see how each passing day his so called customer centric company along with sellers are into wrong practices of lying and giving false assurances fooling its customers!
