I have been a customer for several years. Multiple glasses and lenses purchased due to changing eyes. The staff at America's Best in York, PA have been great to work with. When their supplier for a sun glass frame had difficulty with the lenses, they provided alternatives and worked with me. I experienced excellent service from the staff. Mike the manager was involved and was super to work with. Next time I need glasses I'll be back. I recommend the York, PA America's Best! - Doug D.
I ordered 2 sets of glasses online on 7/4/24, they showed estimated ship date of 7/14/24. It's now 7/19/24 and I can't even get a status update, after waiting over 30 minutes on hold I gave up and left a voicemail message. We'll see if I get any response from "customer care" or should I say "customer, we don't care".
After spending almost 800 i took my glasses back because the transition lens wasnt getting dark and i paid for the extra dark. They activated them but still they didnt work. I called they said i had yo pay another 150. I am so disappointed. Dont go there!

I had b previously gave them the highest review possible. Then I picked up my glasses. Jordan Service waited on me. It was my understanding that the $400+ that I paid him for the two pairs of glasses I ordered covered. He only ordered me one pair and said he told me I could get a discount if I came back and ordered the second pair! BS. I'll NEVER refer anyone there!
Was there on the 9th staff was all sitting and never even came across to help would not go back there even if they gave me 20 glasses that place in clermont fl need to retrain their staff. Ended up at target optical which was more friendly and better than america best walking away feeling happy after purchasing a coach glass from them with my insurance.

I babied mine and was insanely carfully when wiping and followed all their instructions, got blinding micro scratches everywhere within the first month of getting them. It's like a permanent smudge on your lens when light hits them. Arm broke off one side completely after 6 months. Super glued it, broke again. Now finding a new place for glasses
Purchased 5 pairs of glasses over past 7 years and always enjoyed good quality and friendly, helpful service. Had an excellent recent experience at the HarMar location in Roseville, Minnesota where manager Tracy repaired a current frame when I'd knocked the lens out. Also fixed an old frame to provide a suitable backup.

Went in Tuesday for my eye exam and they were extremely busy. The staff worked well under pressure and remained very professional and punctual. I even got further assistance from DeAzia because she along with another customer helped me pick out glasses and gave their honest opinion. Picking out a nice pair of glasses can be challenging but they made my experience less stressful. I am very appreciative and grateful for their help. Would continue to support this Company.
I have used America's Best for several years and several different locations. Today was my first visit to Columbus Ga location and I have to say this was the best office.they saw me on time, were very professional and did a great job of getting my prescription serviced quickly. I was in and out in less than an hour and felt that my concerns were addressed and Dr Stephenson gave me a great exam.

Talk about bait and switch. 2 pair of glasses and eye exam for $69.99. Really how is that. I just went in to get glasses. Picked from the 69.99 frames. But somehow my total is $274 with no hint or bi focales. No add ons at all. This is a bait and switch place. Be very careful because what they advertise you won't get.
Worst, fitting ever! The service wasn't professional. My eyeglasses is a complete 400.00 joke. Went several times for adjustments. Still having trouble with correcting. Surely the employees are not properly trained. Also, the wait time is ridiculous. I give a -0 rating
Rude, condescending, cold, unprofessional, absolute JOKE! The old saying "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is"...So true for the Longview, TX location! Will warn anyone thinking of using them that they would get better quality and service from Dollar General...one star is actually too good of a rating for this company!

It's now been more than a month since I had my glasses and still don't have my contacts at all. They never rescheduled me for a follow up after a cancelation due to reordering temporary lenses.
They are unresponsive and every time we go in there to set up an appointment its the same excuse "oh we have to order the contacts then we will call you for a follow up"
This has been an ongoing issue with them.
My glasses are wrong as well but can't get that resolved nor get a proper prescription if they won't call. So I've had to go back to using reader glasses from Walgreens.
This company should not be allowed to hold a license in any form to do business with reviews like this.
I should be given a full refund but that would probably take going to court.

I scheduled appointment, was sent a resubmit information. They lied and said they called twice and left messages. I asked them what # they called, correct number but someone lied and never called. So they came gave my appointment to someone else! Said I could waste my time and gas and rescheduled for 3:30. Very poorly ran! Over priced on Contact lenses too.

We have used „Americas Best" for many years but from now on we will get our glasses somewhere else. Their frames are total junk and we haven't had a frame which lasted longer than a year. Usually they break at the hinges and they can't be repaired, so they're trash. I also had a pair with the antireflective coating which came off (not completely but in a way that I couldn't use them anymore either because what is left of the coating makes the lenses hazy) We are under the impression that poor quality is part of their business model: instead of selling glasses which last 10 years or longer, they sell you junk which has to be replaced after a few months. They don't stand behind the quality of the stuff that they sell. When you complain it's „did you purchase a warranty?"

The glasses I received after a 5 minute exam did no better than without, still can't read street sings well.
I am certain I did not get the frames I selected since I had no picture of the ones I selected. The tinted pair were so dark it made it harder to see.
The saying you get what you pay for doesn't apply because I paid well over $100 for trash.
They offer 3 year unlimited exam with discount on glasses plan which is very good on the exam side. The glass asses for $69 adds up to 2 pairs of glasses for $238 after adding lenses, uv protection and and anti-scratch.
Employees were rude and not helpful. ( Hiltop location) Seemed bothered with any questions we asked. Selection of frames limited. Had to purchase anyway or would be charged 50$ for exam. Either way a loose loose situation. Will not be back! Waste of time and money!
This store is amazing with amazing employees- just want to say thank you to the entire team from Dr. Patel to everyone one. The eye exam to picking out the right glasses & needs for your eyes. Thank you all so much! It was a family affair for me, first my daughter got her eyes checked then my dad got his eyewear then finally I had my eye exam which is thorough- don't be afraid. Simply AWFUL! I decided to get an exam for contacts in addition to the "free eye exam" included with their two for $69.95 advertised special. At the cash register, they charged me for the entire eye exam because I chose to upgrade to include a prescription for contact lenses. I received ONE trial pair of contact lenses, but wasn't provided a storage case... not even one of those chintzy ones. Needless to say, I didn't want to spend any more money on their gimmicks. Didn't order glasses. Left and will never return. SCAM!

Dr. Durias was so kind and knowledgeable. Amanda was super helpful in showing us frames and making sure the glasses were the perfect fit. Very kind woman greeted us as we walked in n did the paperwork. Highly recommend this place. Great prices too!

This is the absolute worst place ever. They are the most unprofessional people with zero customers service. The doctors leave before patients arrive for appointments. They cancel appointments last minute. Don't waste your time dealing with these people. They deserve less than one star.

They've been having their deal for a while now for 2 pairs of glasses and an eye exam for $80. First of all I was there for 2 hours waiting for the exam. When I went to pick out the frames there was only a limited amount to choose from and the type I needed, progressive lenses cost a total of almost $300 including lenses and frames. I had to end up getting one for close up and one for far away. They don't tell you all of this. They should tell that in the ad so people won't waste their time nor their money. I got my 2 pairs but will never go there again.
Went in with a script from another location they didn't seem to like that at all and was greeted with rudeness and told they get to us when they could. Once we received assistance my friend ask a few questions and this seem to irradiate them. The store manager approached and ask if he was even buying today or just there to get a price. He explained that depended on what the price was he had every intention on buying today. She was short and talked over us. Actually said he only need some cheap plastic lenses and told him that he didn't need what he was asking to buy. This was not done in a nice helpful way it was very condescending and rude. Like he was bothering them by shopping there. We did leave and went to another one of their locations in which he was helped and they happily took him and his wants and needs into consideration. He purchased exactly the glasses and lenses he wanted.

The location on Delaware in Buffalo NY was also very unprofessional they all looked sloppy like they just got out of bed . Was not expecting to walk into a eye care facility and see jeans and tshirts being wore by the staff with unkept hair like she just rolled out of bed. Made me not want to purchase from that location and the rudeness we experienced made us leave not purchasing from them.
