“GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE”

I have been a customer for several years. Multiple glasses and lenses purchased due to changing eyes. The staff at America's Best in York, PA have been great to work with. When their supplier for a sun glass frame had difficulty with the lenses, they provided alternatives and worked with me. I experienced excellent service from the staff. Mike the manager was involved and was super to work with. Next time I need glasses I'll be back. I recommend the York, PA America's Best! - Doug D.

I ordered 2 sets of glasses online on 7/4/24, they showed estimated ship date of 7/14/24. It's now 7/19/24 and I can't even get a status update, after waiting over 30 minutes on hold I gave up and left a voicemail message. We'll see if I get any response from "customer care" or should I say "customer, we don't care".

The worst place ever. I went to get my eyes checked to purchase glasses at the Sharyland Mission location and they screwed me over good. All was well. They checked my eyes and convinced me to take another test in order for the doctor to see me. I agreed. It seemed normal, then the doctor suggested a referral to another doctor for the health of my eye. I continued on with the routine. But when I asked to see the glasses, I was told the doctor had not written a prescription but payment was expected. Why the hell do they think I went there for, GLASSES Assho__s. The doctor never explained results of test or nothing. WHY did this happen. NEVER, EVER will I return. I should have known. Many years before I had gone their to fill a prescription and they gave me the wrong prescription glasses. Never was able to wear them. They didn't make that right either. Once, my mistake. Second time, I should have known better. But NEVER AGAIN to be conned by that company.

I have seen all the promotions for 2 pair of glasses for $80 or so plus free I exam. I traveled the 45 miles from my home to Lancaster, OH to try to save on glasses. I have no prescription insurance and have to save every chance I get. I had the eye exam, and found out the special doesn't apply to bifocals. So I paid over $300 for 1 pair of bifocals in a $29.95 frame and the eye exam. And oh, the exam wasn't free. I can kind of understand not getting 2 pair of bifocals for $80.00 but really! The eye exam wasn't any different for bifocals or single vision! The young lady that helped me was great but her "supervisor" reminded me of a prison guard. Rude and just standing sort of in the middle of the room watching everyone. Kind of weird. I'm anxious to see if the glasses are decent. Lord they'd better be!

I went in December for my exam and they gave me someone else's prescription. The lenses had 10 times more magnification than what I needed. I called them and they told me to keep using them so that I can get used to them. I never got used to it so I went again in August. I only use it to see up close. My problem is not the eyes and they did them wrong again. Now they only gave me distance and I only need up close. I told them they are wrong and they tell me that It's very confusing, we don't know what to do! I got quite angry and asked them for my money for December, they didn't give me anything, I lost my money, my time and they even hurt the glasses they sent me. They are no good, don't go to that ordinary place

Please be aware that you will NOT get two pairs of glasses for any of the advertised prices. Not even the prices placed on the wall inside the store. I was quoted more than 500 dollars and my vision is NOT that bad. I use (reading) glasses from amazon- strength is approximately 1.25 to 1.50. I wanted glasses so that i would not always have to remove the reading glasses but be able to wear glasses all day. Well, for reading glasses that will have NO magnifying abilities or vision changes to the top of them, but WILL have 1.25 to 1.50 at the bottom of the lens, i am now paying almost 200 bucks. That is for ONE pair of glasses because for 2 i was quoted over 500 dollars. It is definitely a hoax and it's a wonder they haven't been shut down for doing this to people. So sad! On the other hand, customer service wasn't "that" bad. SMH

This company has some major issues, not only is their add false and leading, congress should look into their shady practices. They have a COVID phobia like no other, demanding you suit up, wear mask, wash your hands and wear gloves. Then these same germ phobia people touch your paper work, face, have you rest your face on dirty equipment and they play with your glasses with their dirty filthy hands.
$69.00 glasses do not exist, you need $350 to $500.00 dollars to deal with this company. Don't believe me, go their and get raped. I have visited both, Flower Mound and Lewisville... they are one in the same as they demand you protect them with your mask and gloves and they grab and touch your face with their dirty filthy hands and I never saw them wipe the equipment once. SCUM!

I went to America's Best in Kennesaw and had awesome service. I was seen by the eyt doctor on my exact appointment time and Starsh handled my paperwork. She was totally awesome. Ain't nothing better than great customer service!

When I came in the store there was immediately an employee by my side helping me try to find the right pair for my face and that matched me. The employee that helped me was super nice and understanding about how I want them to look on me. She was super calm and patient because it took a long time for me to find my glasses that actually fit me and made me look nice. It was a super easy process trying them on and then they had to measure and then that was it. They said that my glasses were supposed to arrive in two weeks but they always arrive in less time. I got mine two days later. It was a very small prescription. But I thought it would take much longer than two days. But overall this was a great store and I definitely recommend it.

Went to America's best today and was pleasantly pleased with the overall experience. Our associate, Kayla, did an excellent job in all phases of our experience. Quick, very friendly, professional in all that they did. Thank you all for a jog very well done. This was at the Champaign, Illinois store on Prospect….

I had and appointment on 3/21/2022. The staff was so polite and professional. The whole is new but one and I love seeing her when I go in Ms. Bea is great. She so down to earth just like having your bestfriend by your side.

This place should be closed down. I would not recommend anyone go there who needs glasses. I purchased glasses bifocals and the prescription was wrong and horrible. I didn't wear them I wore my old glasses. Then I thought I would try them again in a year and as soon as I arrived at the store I was sorry that I came back. First of all your receptionist was rude. Her name was Kim in the Wilmington, N. C. store. I will never go there again and I will never recommend anyone I know to go there. Today I didn't purchase anything because I will not be going back ever. I didn't even want to give this store one star.

Had to get appointment which I am fine with but when I came in for my appointment it still took 45 minutes to see the optometrist than another hour or more before I was finished so that I had the privilege of paying over $600 for a cheap pair of sunglasses and a pair of safety glasses and on top of that I called back to get a number for an eye specialist and was put on hold until call dropped several minutes later I call back then was treated rudely. Next time I will be tying a different eye glass store. Hopefully I can find something better because I'm done with America's worst!

Visit America's Best if you are looking for a friendly and professional staff. They carry hundreds of frames to choose from.
I'm sure anyone will find a pair to more than please them.
The Optometrist and exam staff preform a complete exam then take the time to discuss the result, showing pictures taken if any existing eye problems have occurred.
Plus the Exam is free and even my
HMO insurance was accepted.
If your looking for a friendly professional staff look no further than America's Best

I went to America's Best Contacts and Eyeglass Co. Located in Crestwood, MO. Dr. Cassie Beard was the dr. I saw. It was the most thorough eye exam I have ever had. The dr. took her time, gave suggest on how to help with dry eye, which I didn't even know I had. I got new contacts. I can now read and see crisp. I highly recommend Dr. Beard.

I cannot give review on glasses because I haven't received them yet. I spent $ 500 and was told I could pick them on 01/24 but they aren't ready yet. I planned a vacation based on time I was told they'd be ready and I'm still waiting….

Hello, this review is about a specific employee Mrs. Veronica Anaya at the San Pedro location is San Antonio, TX. She was able to repair my damaged glasses and saved me the expense of buying a new pair of glasses. I was going out of town and really needed my glasses. She worked some optical magic and repaired them! Mrs. Anaya was very professional, knowledgeable, personable and a pleasure to do business with. She is without a doubt an asset to America's Best. One of America's Best best employees. (pun intended)

Went to them for the 2 pair for $69. Spent $325.11 1/2 months lader I washed glasses by mistake and that removed all the coatings. Because it had been almost 1 year I ask for a new exam ( $50) was then told they could not make the new scriipt. Spent another $125 to get glasses. Could not see so I made another trip to store. Manager said they would make a new pair but would not allow me to have script rechecked. Got new glasses, Another trip, 6 total at 1 1/2 hours each. Things blurry. Today went to VA and was told blurry vision was due to glasses being wrong not my eyes New set coming from VA. Should have went there first

I just left the Disable parking space to go in American Best in WhiteHall PA. Struggle with the door while four employees just looking at me. Yes no one there looked like me. Then I was told to wash my hands before getting out my ID
So I told her my Medical back ground. So I ask her to clean hers. Any way recovering from cancer snd dealing with CHF she had me to go in back to look up my insurance. I was unable to sit in low chair due to my hip replacement. Not even 10 mins went buy and she ask me to reschedule. I could have with other places but my regular one was booked. Now I do not mind waiting. Thank God I did not bring my wheel chair. The staff need training in ADA and Cultural.

I got eye glasses from this place and the lady who servied me did not ask me about all my option for my eye glasses and I can't see properly with these glasses and when I call them they wanted to charge me more money for there fault. That's Wrong I will not go back there again doctor was great service was not.

Your company states that we will receive a comprehensive exam from a licensed Dr.
I don't think so. The doctor speeds through the exam flipping the letters to read so fast that it is impossible to ensure that the exam is comprehensive. Was not satisfied with this dr. I did see the same dr as last yr and the exam was the same as this year but thought I would give the company another chance. Sorry I did. Of course the glasses are no good. Your company is fixing them. I would advise that someone speak to the doctors and relate this issue

Rosa provided me with a first class service. I would not have thought of using my insurance had she not asked me to give it a try. She helped me find a way to optimize my benefit. She helped find my frame. She patiently discussed all the details of my options to assist with my decision-making. Best of all, we sealed the deal and I am as happy as a clam!

I purchased my glasses back In April from American Best my glasses had the wrong prescription they broke in 10/14/2023 I took them back to be fix she said they cant be fix but i can look at another pair she can pop them out and put the les in them why and the prescription not right. She wanted to make me an appointment to come back nope I am not paying another $400 for another pair of glasses from this company bad business and the advertisement for two pair for $79 is not true. Never again and wouldn't recommend anyone to go there.

I have been very pleased with my in-store experiences. My main issue comes from the dozen emails, texts, and phone calls you receive. I got 3 texts messages in 2 days for an appointment I had confirmed I would be attending, after the confirmation. I received emails reminding me about my appointment after my confirmation. I have received several calls and emails and text messages about my contact and glasses being ready. It is wildly obnoxious. I get it. They're ready. My contacts have been ready to pick up for 2 days and I've gotten calls, emails, and text messages already. I wish I could opt out but I need to know when they're ready. I wish I could lower the number of reminders.

Stop sending so many reminders. I get it.

I made appointments 3 weeks ago for myself and my kids to mature sure I can get in on there Spring Break. I told the girl when I called that I have VSP insurance. Well I didn't find out until I got there for my appointment is out of network. I'm so pissed. This was a waste of my time and day. I was supposed to be on a trip but canceled because of the appointments. Then the guy at the front desk is slow and not friendly.

Everything seems okay when you come in for your exam and you purchase your glasses. However, they tell you 2 weeks until your glasses come in. 1 pair showed up in 2 weeks, the other pair took 2-1/2 weeks. Then after going back again to get the 2nd pair the prescription was wrong. I specifically told them I needed readers (+2.00 lenses) for over contacts but what I received had lenses that were +6.00. The manager showed me the information in my chart showed +6.00 - I had to explain to her that I didn't fill out the information in my chart. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks (yeah right). You'd think that when they screw up they would do something to expedite your glasses. By the time I get these I will have waited over a month. That's not acceptable. I won't be going back to America's Best

Ladies that work there are professional but personal, I like that, know what their doing. Took a little longer this time to get my glasses,. Been coming to America's best for 6 yrs, or longer. Like coming to America's best.
