But,. Things change. The last loan failed and I got a message, "Your loan has been declined", and no one spoke to me again. I will be calling other companies when the economy restarts.
Today 2/7/24 my credit was pulled out. On January 14 is Been about a month since we start our process. I have report. And income of 180 k and 80 in the past two year. I have. A home that is. Worth most likely 780 k I owe 346 i only needing. 70 k cash out to. Put into my house. For improvements and. They. Said. No just. Know. Saying. I don't have enough income to support my debts. When I. Have a company. That. For. 7 years have earn. In between 800-to this past. Year reach up to 1400000 and they still said I don't qualify.all they want is to get. Your 500 applications fees and roll out. Waist your time asking you for million of paper work and at the end the just tell you. U cant qualify. Very. Disappointed very. Upcet. Be careful with jay Catherman he is a loan agent and I explain my situation he said. They can help. Total lies
They will offer you a better rate than anyone else, charge you a $500 non refundable fee, then ignore your emails for weeks. Once rate goes up, they will tell you that you need to pay them $10,000 for them to honor the rate they initially offered. None of their initial disclosures are binding so they can do this scam in total impunity. I hope my loss is your gain, and that you will select a real mortgage company for your refinance needs.

I decided to give this company a try at refinancing my home. I did a little research on them but apparently not enough. To make it short, the loan originator told me to continue I would need $500 deposit fee. Why should I pay $500 upfront when a hundred things could go wrong I refused to pay it and now have a hard pull on my record. Paying the bills is already hard enough as it is, stay away from lenders like these.

My refi was in process for about 5 months. I responded virtually immediately to every document request, have great credit, there were no property issues or any other problem. The loan was approved to close after 4 months, but then put back into delay because they found more documents that had "expired" because of their prior delays. No status is provided, there's no response to questions, and it is almost impossible to talk to anyone because (a) they have a broken phone system and (b) calls just go to voicemail. The applicant is basically treated like dirt as they plod along in some chaotic world. Two stars instead of one because the closing was done nicely: electronic signatures on most documents and they sent a local notary over to get final signatures (took less than an hour).

At first things seem to go well then came the documents they wanted.sent about 12 documents.then doc not good enough going back 12 months now want 24 months. From ss letters of verification to pay stubs to w2 forms and on and on.then while I'm trying to get this together 24 hours later closed application due to incompleteness.put out 565 dollars for appraisal and now nothing.was refinancing a house I own and have paid on 20 years.this is a joke.look for more reputable firm and save yourself a bunch of grief.

This company is a nightmare. With so much riding on a real estate transaction for all parties involved... these guys took their sweet time, did not comply with deadlines, told lies that were proven to be lies, and had terrible communication. Due to their negligence, they held up closing which caused many negative consequences. Do you think they cared or tried to remedy the situation. Nope. CALL ANOTHER LENDER!
Date of experience: November 1, 2022
After you pay the $500 application fee you will find they will not take your calls. They only communicate through document request. No matter how many times you send it they keep requesting it. I called the customer service finally got someone to answer. They could not help me but a Mr. Daniel would call someday... still waiting on someday.

After changing loan officers and processors 3-4 times and getting ghosted, I realized that after waiting 3.5 months, this deal was not happening. They told me all they were waiting for was title to come back and then I kept following up over and over with phone calls and emails and NOTHING. I called the number kept getting transferred and hung up on. They definitely wasted time I can never get back. Don't be like me and ignore the reviews. Everything you read is true, they are the absolute worst ever.

Don't, you will waste your time.

Transactions are online or via phone. After trying to change my direct payment from savings to checking, a sign came up telling me I could not have that done and my original direct payment account could not be reinstated. I made my June payment on the phone with the representative. He applied the entire payment to principle only, so I was charged over $50 as a late payment fee. I spent 30 minutes on the phone today getting all that fixed, although the final numbers will not show on my account for up to 10 business days. Polite on the phone, but a very poor company in terms of performance. Document every important call and write down confirmation numbers and the initials of the representative you work with.

I was contacted by AmeriSave (Loan Originator) and given some estimates of costs associated with refinancing my primary residence which was mortgage free. I immediately sent him the documents he requested (personal and corporate tax returns for last 2 years). He said he'd get back to me that evening. When he didn't, I emailed him a day later asking what was up. Said he go caught in a conference, but he was working on my application and would get back to me very shortly. A few days later I emailed him again and asked if I should contact another lender, as he seem disinterested. Again, he'd get back to me. Emailed him again and have never heard back. Now that is some lousy customer service, follow up and professionalism.

We paid our $500 fee to AmeriSave at the end of April -2021- with the hopes of closing by end of May, which was the opinion of agent.
However, here it is the end of June and the company still hasn't given us a closing date. We receive generated notes asking for documents. We have sent them everything they need for the closing of this loan, but we still get computer-generated notes; the agent keeps telling is "we're almost there" or "hang in," Underwriting is completing the job." We rarely get promised phone calls; we almost never get an actual response, and so for 60 plus days, we await a closing.
Yes rates are good, but with no closing date, what's the point.
I recommend to you that you explain to your readers that my case (as a Google search will support) is not rare, but a common occurrence.
Hope this is informative.
My loan number and agent are included to prove I am a real person.

Lynn Ong is a very knowledgeable, kind, attentive person to have working for you when trying to navigate the stormy seas of getting a loan. She made a stressful time for us much more bearable and explained things in a way we could understand. Lynn was always very prompt at getting back to us when we had questions and she guided us through all the many steps that are needed when trying to obtain a loan. I am very pleased with her performance and will definitely use her again if needed.

I started a loan application with AmeriSave, but stopped immediately after they jacked up the points on my loan because the house didn't appraise as high as they estimated. They estimate extremely high using non-similar house values to draw you in. I had a percentage charged for the points, and I thought that would remain the same despite the appraisal. Once the appraisal came in lower, their other associated costs went down, thus AmeriSave's profit went down. So, they increased the points percentage, increasing my costs by $900. Plus, when the loan documents were modified due to the lower appraisal, I called to talk to my loan officer, and she was clueless as to the revised figures. This business is set up to shuffle you through like a cattle chute. They guarantee you a personal touch, but once they think they've got you cornered, you're just a number. I switched to Freedom Mortgage and the process has been much smoother.

Loan officer sold me good. Promised a 30 year for %2.875. Looked at the closing and was around 10k. I backed out and went with Loandepot.com got a 30 year for %2.9 with closing 4.8k. Ask for a refund of the application fee and no response. STAY AWAY FROM AMERISAVE.COM MORTGAGE. They are only concerned for the $500 application fee. Nobody else has a charge that high. Loandepot only charged $21 to lock rate.
Tip for consumers:
NEVER USE AMERISAVE.COM MORTGAGE.

I worked with both David Clark and Nikki Tran to secure a loan and they have been awesome. They respond to my questions with superior knowledge and in a very timely way. Customer Service is extremely important but very few firms train their representatives as AmeriSave. Great Job!
I will highly recommend your company to my friends and family.

After months of dealing with them and sending the same documents over and over, we were set to close. We were supposed to close the following week. They did not give us a date. I called Matt and he said he would check on it. He thought maybe they needed something else. Never heard from him again. Next thing I know is that the person from their credit dept. left. So the whole process started over. I sent them everything again and again and again. I would get a you are good, all caught up. In a few days they would request the same exact documents. I kept giving them the same information, because I had to pay them $500 upfront, very stupid on my part. As time went on I realized they were not going to give us a loan and I gave up and lost our money. I have since then got a loan with a reputable bank.

Our AmeriSave agent made us lock in a rate with $500 and did a terrible job of putting together a refinance package for us. After almost 6 weeks we follow up and get silence from him. We follow up again and get An automated Message That our refinance got denied. So we lost $500 and wasted so much time with this incompetent company that not only was dishonest from the start but didn't do their job throughly.
Date of experience: July 29, 2019
This company is the worst ever. We applied in February and at the beginning of May we still had not closed. We had to pay a fee of $500 to apply and that was money wasted. They delayed the loan by constantly asking for another document and then at the beginning of May raised the fees by over 20%. Questions we asked went unanswered, staff apparently never read the emails we sent, the man to whom we talked when we finally decided not to go ahead became angry with us and the whole bad experience cost us $500 plus appraisal and other fees. We should have read the on-line reviews of this company before applying but did not and it was an expensive lesson.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid this site like the plague.

Communication was great until I made a 500.00 deposit to lock in my rate to refinance my home! I would literally leave work at moments notice to get the documents needed, which honestly was not an issue because I was under the impression we were moving forward. Instead I started receiving emails from a completely different processor asking me for the exact documents and that I needed to pay more money to get a appraiser after it was already done! My original processor went MIA!, then from there I requested for both to contact me of a conference call through email to get this mess sorted out well guess what weeks later and no response from neither processor. We started literally almost 6 months ago and got no where! Now I'm sure I'm going to have to follow up for the next several weeks to ensure I get my damn money back! This was the worse service and lack of professionalism I've never experienced this bad seriously! PLEASE LOOK ELSE WHERE! 6 months! And got no where!

Dealing with Amerisave, and their loan officer Andrew Torres, was the worst mortgage experience that I have ever had. If you want a timely loan process, than go elsewhere! Heck, you would be lucky if they even answer a question via email (because they will not answer their phone). Andrew was very misleading, and after you pay the application fee... poof! They disappear. I would never suggest even thinking about using Amerisave.
Tip for consumers:
do not even think about using Amerisave, because you will definitely regret it!

I don't know what is wrong with y'all, but this company is extremely professional and easy to work with. It's not for people who don't know how to use a computer. Company pricing is unparalleled when compared to other lenders and every loan officer has three or more years experience. Call a company like Rocket and ask them a difficult question and then call Amerisave and see how accurate the folks at Rocket are.

Lousy person charles evans and lousy company wish I could give a zero rating.

Horrible. My loan officer MJ Wolfe did a lot of crazy things with my loan application like omitting credit, over estimating my home value, and never returning my calls. She had me believing the loan was all set to be approved, but it was not. One day, I get a call from a person who said he was my new loan officer. MJ just mysterious disappeared with all the documents I gave her which the new loan officer knew nothing about. After a few months, I shared my concerns to no avail. My new loan officer calls me after a week saying the loan was denied. I paid off bills using my retirement funds because MJ basically said the loan was a go. This company is suspicious. I would not recommend them.

This company was terrible to work with, after I was approved and they took my $500 to hold my interest rate I never heard from them again. I called, I emailed, I text and the rep I had Dave never once contacted me back. Could not even get an answer when we did find a house. Hope you enjoyed my $500. This company is a Joke!

Don't let them take your $500 its a scam. Did not have to do this with either of the other two companys I was working with.

Awful. Lender kept asking for the same documentation over and over and over, constantly delayed things, would say things like "okay we're ready for closing" only to have "just one more thing" the next day all the way to closing. Never had this experience before, asked around if it was normal now, everyone I knew in reality / insurance was flabbergasted (we should have been super fast and easy to close, excellent credit, tons of cash). Even at closing, things weren't communicated to the title company correctly and the lawyer said he'd been doing it for over ten years and never seen something like this before. Some how we closed, but it was in spite of things, not because of some sort of wonderful experience.
Will never ever use again.

I shopped around when trying to refinance. Rocket, Wells Fargo, Amerisave, along with 2 others... Amerisave had the best APR. So I started the process. $500 application fee? Ok, figured I'd save that with the difference in interest easily. Loan originator told me "that's why I love my job, to beat the rates and compete with the big guys." In hindsight, they probably train them with that line. 2 months later, after they were terrible getting back with me via email or phone, they denied my loan due to DTI (debt-to-income) being "just off." I was refinancing to consolidate some debt. You would think that they may actually offer to adjust the numbers to make the loan work and have a new customer, but NOPE they just simply said "I'm sorry we couldn't make it work." Makes me think they are a scam company! Conservative figure of "processing" 2000 applications a month at $500 a pop... $#*! that's a Mil right there. CROOKS! I write this in hopes they don't do the same to you!
