This was my second order from anime ape, I order 3 button ups, 2 t-shirts, 1 swim trunk. The button-ups material feels very cheap like knock off hawaiian shirt polyester but the sizes are fairly true. The T-shirts I received are definitely not based of the same sizes as they fit a size larger, the material of the t-shirts is a light thin polyesterish material as well (white is basically see through). The trunks were ok and true to size material feels like what swim trunks should me so no complaints there. Overall still not impressed especially with a no exchange policy on sizing, nothing says screw the customer like an online clothing company with a no exchange policy.

Anime ape has anime-related apparel that is very detailed and enjoyable to wear. The high quality clothes and cool designs make their clothing uplifting. I can't really pinpoint anything bad about AnimeApe at all.

What the title says. Bought what they advertised as a "holiday sweater" the same day I bought a "holiday sweater" from a different brand. Funny enough one of them was a real sweater and one was just a long sleeve t-shirt printed to look like one. From the rating on this review you can probably guess which one was the fake sweater. The funniest part is that it cost me $10 more than the real sweater. The material is so thin you can see where the tag is through both the front and back layers.

Ordered the Rengoku Cloak Coat hoodie and it's better than I could have imagined! Excellent quality with a nice inner lining that keeps me warm. Colors are vibrant and I'm getting a lot of compliments while wearing it. Ordered the size large and it fits as expected.
So far I'be only had the pleasure of ordering one thing ( the sage of the six paths gym shorts); however, I love the product and I love going through the site and checking out what they have! So stoked to get more and see what else they decide to do in the future!

I recently purchased a Tomioka Demon Slayer rashguard. After a few wears to the gym already, it is easily one of my favorite things I own. Would highly recommend and will definitely consider getting more apparel from AnimeApe.
Ordered 2 items that took about a weekto get shipped them another 2 weeks or so to arrive(I live on an island and shipping sometimes takes a lot longer then normal). Both in great shape. Been looking for a badman vegeta shirt for years!

Great company. I saw them from TikTok and went to check them out on Instagram. Was a little nervous about using them since their weren't too many reviews and such. Took a chance and was greatly surprised. Came in the time said and liked so much, I bought again not long after.

I love anime and have had difficulty finding unique, comfortable clothes with varieties— that is until AnimeApe. I absolutely LOVE them! The quality of their clothes is amazing, they have a variety of amazing anime to choose from, shipping is on point and with care. I am highly impressed with the quality if the shorts I ordered. I did order a size up based on some reviews I saw and they are a little big. These run true to size do not size up. I have been on a few kayaking trips with them and they are holding up well.

Ordered the Dale Hawaiian shirt https://animeape.com/products/chip-n-dale-button-up-hawaiian-shirt/ - The quality is mid; it seems sturdy enough but the stitching is visible on the outside and high contrast. The size, though, is the killer; all the reviews I can see say these shirts tend to run large and this is absolutely a size and a half small. I wear a 3X-4X and the 4X I ordered fits like a very small 3X. No way to leave a review on the website; I can only assume their reviews are false. Unable to return, as the shirt was washed and out of the original packaging, which is super unhelpful especially when it comes to sizing problems.

Expect cosplay quality, not clothing quality. Ignore the fake reviews on the site and make sure to size up.

I've loved every single item I've bought! Good quality, feels custom (because the designs are made in-house), and I get to wear something that shows off my favorite series or favorite character (or both in some cases). The sportswear and active wear items are crazy lightweight and breathable. I wore nothing but their gym shorts all summer this past year. The team is open to product and design suggestions, so if you don't see something you like, ask for it! You might be able to buy it soon. And unlike other businesses, they will actually tell you when your suggested product is available.
For those who have sensory preferences for fabric, almost everything I have ordered (with the exception of a button down shirt, which is cotton) has been mostly polyester. While this gives a silky smooth finish, it's not my personal preference of material; it can feel cheap to me. BUT it means all the beautiful designs that are custom printed on the fabric will not fade over time and there is more durability, which means more wears out of the garments. And trust me, you're going to love your order(s) so much, you'll wear them more than some of your other clothes.

I understand that updating and maintaining a site--especially a shopping site with as large a range of products as this one has--is a meticulous process and takes time. However, sometimes the newest products for hoodies, as an example, don't show up when I click into the "hoodies" section of the header. Usually it takes a few days or a week for them to show up there. This is a little frustrating when I want to show a product to a friend and have to use a link in an email instead of the site.
