As a responsible business owner, the safety and security of my workplace are of utmost importance to me. Unfortunately, my recent experience with Annke Vision's CCTV system has been nothing short of a nightmare, revealing serious flaws in both their product and customer support.
Security Breach and Inadequate Solutions: I have experienced hundreds of unauthorized and illegal logins to our Annke Vision cameras, posing a severe security risk. Despite changing passwords multiple times, the unauthorized access continued. My best guess is that Annke Vision's team might have access to the cameras, as changing the password repeatedly did not resolve the issue. Each time I reached out for support, their only solution was to change the password—an ineffective measure that did nothing to stop the illegal logins, as evidenced by the logs from our DVR.
Evidence Ignored: I exported all the logs from the DVR, which clearly show the illegal logins from IP addresses located in Saudi Arabia, Germany, China, Hong Kong, Africa, different parts of the US, and many other countries. I emailed these logs to Annke Vision as crucial evidence of the security breach. Unfortunately, they completely ignored this critical information, demonstrating a troubling disregard for the severity of the situation.
Lack of Accountability and Customer Support: One of the most frustrating aspects of this ordeal is the complete lack of accountability and customer support from Annke Vision. Here's a summary of my attempts to seek help and the responses I received:
Phone Support: Despite numerous calls and voicemails, no one ever answered or returned my calls.
Live Chat: The live chat option turned out to be a bot that assured me an agent would be with me shortly. However, after 24 hours, I was still waiting for a response. Eventually, it seems they blocked me from using the live chat altogether.
Email Support: Every email I sent received an automated response stating that someone would be with me shortly, but no follow-up ever occurred.
No Social Media Presence: Adding to the frustration, Annke Vision has no presence on major social media platforms like Google, Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter where customers can leave reviews or seek help.
A Cautionary Tale: Based on my experience, I urge potential customers to reconsider purchasing from Annke Vision. If you value your privacy and expect reliable after-sales service, Annke Vision is not the right choice. Their lack of effective solutions, non-existent customer support, and potential internal security vulnerabilities make them a risky option for anyone serious about security.
Final Thoughts: In today's world, security products should offer peace of mind, not additional stress. Annke Vision's inability to provide adequate support and secure their products has been a distressing experience. I hope my story serves as a cautionary tale for others considering their products.
