Brilliant from start to finish. Made a potentially stressful house move stress free. Driver had a great attitude, easy going, friendly and did most of the heavy lifting. Turned up with blankets for protection/padding. Furniture was loaded thoughtfully and all arrived perfectly.
Terrible recent experience (August2024) with AnyVan. They made a mistake and communicated to the chosen removal company a different delivery date than the one agreed in our contract. I was not home on wrong date and remover charged me £240 for storage. I turned back to AnyVan to ask them to cover costs since THEY passed on the wrong date and the fee was based on correct date indicated in contract. Since then… silence from AnyVan. I told them I would spread the word about their service, but clearly their reputation is not even worth the £240 … somehow I agree. I would recommend going directly to a removal company and not using a broker like them.
Used Anyvan to bring back my sons stuff from university. They were fantastic, efficient, careful, easy to add items to the collection and very reasonable. Will use again for sure l.

These guys were absolutely fantastic! First off, communication was great, with text reminders in advance and a link to track your driver on the day meant we really got to use our time wisely (crucial on moving day when you don't want to be sat around twiddling your thumbs).
The drivers were phenomenal, they managed to pack up a house worth of furniture and memories in 90 minutes, loaded and packed with extreme care that would put a Tetris pro to shame, and somehow managed to smile and laugh the whole time!
At the other end, they were only five minutes behind us, and unloaded faster than they packed up, asking and double checking where everything went, putting things neatly aside, both downstairs and upstairs.
All in all, they managed to have us packed up, moved, and unloaded into our new house before midday!
I would absolutely recommend this service for anyone wanting a truly professional, friendly, and speedy service that is well worth the cost.
In fact, I've already booked them for another job!

Please BEWARE that when you book the service, it is not guaranteed that your delivery will be picked up. AnyVan do not operate their own fleet of vehicles, and guess if they can get somebody for that day. When you recive a confirmation email after booking, this does not confirm your delivery. This only confirms that they have listed for a 3rd party bid. It is not confirmed that you are have a van until you receive a call. So if you need a delivery on a specific day as i did, this is not the service for you. This should be made clearer on the website. Do not hang around all day as I did on you pick up day unless you receive a phone call, as you I am very disappointing with the service provided by AnyVan. The only option i was given was a refund, or to put out for their 3rd party drivers to bid again, so another uncertainty. In addition to the extra i paid for getting a pick up on a Sunday, a refund of the difference was not offered. Very poor service!

Just a company that outsources work to just anyone who is desperate for money.
You pay the highest rates while the drivers barley make enough to servive.
Had enough of them. Always problems!
I have spoken to there Driver support team which didn't listen to me whatsoever.
There calls are recored and never to the time to listen to me And instead I get charged a deallocation charge when I was never notified about winning a job until the morning, well sorry.
Not got to drop a my own customer that pays less than what you charge for a top service not fuel money... if that!
Supposed to get notification few hours after interest expressed.
I've emailed and phoned about this on a number of times and just got ignored.

After paying a considerable amount of money and having AnyVan confirming a time slot by text message the driver drove off and didn't complete the job. Customer services were absolutely not helpful and they got my money without doing the job in total £277 pounds and plus I had to incur in extra costs to do the job myself. Their website and text messages are deceiving and when things go wrong they just "steal" your money. You are better off to work with a local family service or rent a can yourself. DO NOT USE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET YOUR MONEY STOLEN and get stuck.

I would give zero stars if I could. After being messed around with drivers cancelling at the last minute, and arguing with the new driver via text over whether I really needed a VAN like I ordered, he showed up the next day with a HONDA CIVIC HATCHBACK, which is in no way a VAN. The call centre rep refused to send an actual VAN without charge and wanted me to pay again. He had no intention of assisting me. All he wanted was to rip me off again. He got very uncivil. After long discussion with the call centre, they told the driver to unload the vehicle and leave, and told me that they will not refund for that. The driver left and I had AN HOUR to find another mover. I called the company I previously used, and they provided a van, as I asked. Anyvan made my move super stressful, nightmarish and ripped me off for a service that was not provided.
Beware using their services.

We had a piano moved and were really impressed with the guys who came. Cricky were they quick, in and out in a flash and had all the gear to do it. We have walnut flooring and were worried, thats a laugh! As they were ahead of us on that and took all protection.
At the other end the people told us exactly the same and so well done AnyVan and staff.

I arranged for the collection of a tailgate for a Chrysler Grand Voyager on Tuesday 13th February from a breaker's yard in Suffolk and delivery to a garage in South Yorkshire the following day. The collection was carried our as requested and the tailgate delivered to me as arranged. It was a smooth and simple process.

18/09/2023 Today, I was contacted from Anyvan to cancel the house moving service I have arranged and paid for on 22/09/2023. That's just a few days away and their reason is that the quote they gave me is wrong and asked me to pay over £400 more if I want to keep this service.
First of all, the quote and discount have been applied and given to me by the staff via live chat. The staff who called Shaun (refused to give me his full name) tried to frame it as my fault as I did the quote online and the quote is not accurate up there. Indeed that's not my wrong and actually it is a quote from the staff directly so if that is inaccurate, the fault is theirs because of the human mistake. I have the chat history for your scrutiny. I don't see any reasons why I have to endure this suffering.
Honestly, you cannot just cancel on someone,especially moving is a big job to do and I never agree with it in the phone call. I demanded to speak to a senior manager as I see we are not going anywhere as they are not trying to be reasonable. Then Shaun claimed he is the one.
So the phone call ended with he is insisting to cancel and refund me without my approval.
I demand to have my arranged service back with the same quote and amount to pay.

I recently bought a Canoe based in Southampton for delivery to Warwickshire off GUmtree. Offer was based on Anyvans delivery quote. There advertising is linked to GUmtree ad - in fact it transfers information - Canoe described as 15ft and as double. Van turned up and said it didn't know it was 15ft and could not fit it.@$hrs later after no show on delivery I copntacted anyvan to be advised they were not doing delivery and could offer no alternative... Clearly they do not 'Deliver Anything ANywhere" Totally useless set up, with very poor customer service who could not care less of the situation they put people in - I wasted by week in UK when I was meant to be on holiday and have use of this canoe trying to find another delivery company. Unsuccessfully. This company cause you unnecessary stress and todate refuse to acknowledge their responsibility.

I did over 80 jobs for them in 3 months with 100% satisfaction reviews from their customers. I arrived for 2 separate mis-described jobs and they wouldn't pay me. I wrote to the MD (Angus Elphinstone) *******@anyvan.com and he had no interest in sorting it out, nor did one of the Managers Jagdeep Sungher, who I wrote to more than 5 times without a response.
After doing some digging, Anyvan Ltd posted losses of £5.2M in their last accounts and £4.7M loss the previous year. I would assume this company will go bust very soon and as and when it does, any goods in transit will be impounded as the delivery companies will not get paid.
Don't get caught out, use another company.
