Brilliant from start to finish. Made a potentially stressful house move stress free. Driver had a great attitude, easy going, friendly and did most of the heavy lifting. Turned up with blankets for protection/padding. Furniture was loaded thoughtfully and all arrived perfectly.
Terrible recent experience (August2024) with AnyVan. They made a mistake and communicated to the chosen removal company a different delivery date than the one agreed in our contract. I was not home on wrong date and remover charged me £240 for storage. I turned back to AnyVan to ask them to cover costs since THEY passed on the wrong date and the fee was based on correct date indicated in contract. Since then… silence from AnyVan. I told them I would spread the word about their service, but clearly their reputation is not even worth the £240 … somehow I agree. I would recommend going directly to a removal company and not using a broker like them.
Anyvan are rip off merchants stole my £220 never did the collection and wont even talk about a refund. They find all kinds of ways NOT to do the job then demand another £155 to do it. Shriply did it without fuss only took deposit on collection and balance on delivery. I only wish I did more resurch on the team of bandits prior to booking. Hope this might stop one or two to use someone /anyone else.

I used for the first time recently, and found it easy to book AnyVan. They are quick to respond to queries, helpful and the whole process was quite painless! No fuss, quick simple process and all completed in time allocated.

I ended up having the most stressful moving experience. They outsourced the service, so the 'Michael' that was supposed to be my Van was impossible to contact (or never exist). I had to contact the customer service which was pretty useless. The communication that they promised never happened and the driver never called me. The worst part was they turned up very late with a scary looking driver who was not helpful at all. He charged me extra five pounds to ride with him even though earlier he said I was not allowed to get in the van with him (though on the website, they said I could). The move was in November 2018, but I was so afraid of the driver that I waited till I moved out of the house to write this review.

They picked up my items and helped a lot, came quickly and even loaded the stuff on to palettes to take to storage!
Only downside is that they charge you to add stuff on if you've forgotten things on your inventory.

I booked a two man collection and delivery of a washing machine to go to my holiday caravan the two gentlemen wheeled the washing machine across grass to my caravan and lifted it up two steps. I had no problems and I was kept informed of the exact time to expect them to arrive via text message tracking app. I'm happy to recommend this service to anyone kind regards Helen

Really impressed with the service. Easy to book, good communication, letting me know when item was estimated to be delivered, when it was picked up and when they was on route. Item arrived when stated it would be, very friendly and polite driver/delivery men. Would definitely use this service again.

Ive used Anyvan for 2 housemoves now and Ive been really impressed. The drivers have communicated well, arrived on time, looked after my stuff and delivered it / unloaded it safely. I think its really good value for money and Ill definitely use Anyvan again for any future moves.

Terrible experience. Driver failed to make proper arrangements for pick up, meaning the arrangements failed. Anyvan then try to charge me an extra £27 to re-arrange, whilst the pick up location are also charging storage for the failed pick up item. Numerous emails to resolve the situation, but no satisfactory outcome. I am now suing them for a refund, storage charges incurred, and hours of inconvenience, whilst also having to now make alternative arrangements for the pick up. Anyvan have failed me miserably and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Our driver Marcin did a phenomenal job with making the move as easy and smooth as possible. He went above and beyond with serving us. The move was a huge success thanks to our driver. He handled everything with the utmost care. Can't rave enough about how superb our driver was. We were very grateful to have hired this company as this was our first apartment together and we've never hired a van to move all our possessions before! Thank you Marcin!

Booked for a move, and was given tracking on the morning. The van arrived promptly and the men assisting with the move were without fault, making this a trouble-free move. Would happily recommend to friends and would definitely use again. Highly recommended service.

The driver came with rented van (it had the rental companys logo all over it) without any ropes to hold the goods or any blankets to protect them from scratching.
I was in the van with the driver all the way from my place to the destination.
My goods kept moving abruptly inside the van. We had to stop twice due to my stuff hitting every corner inside the van. It was painful to hear it in every curve.
When we got to the destination and checked my stuff, one big canvas was broken, separated in three pieces: painting, frame and glass, and one of my wardrobe doors had scratches all over it.
I only had to move one medium box, a two doors wardrobe and one canvas only three things, and two of them ended up ruined. Would I recommend this service to anyone? Definitely not if you have any appreciation for the goods you are moving.

Booked a van on the 19/05/2017 to pick up on 27/05/2017. I paid more to have a specific date booked for peace of mind. Booking was confirmed and payment made.
Received a text on 24/05/2017 to say that the move was being coordinated and that they would text again with driver's details.
By Friday the 26/05/2017 had not hear any more information, although the website says they will contact you at least 24 hours before pick up. Called twice and customer service explained that they were still trying to allocate a driver and promised me they would call me back by the end of the day.
By 5pm they hadn't called me. I called again and after 5 minutes on hold was told they still hadn't allocated a driver but would keep looking over the weekend. I had no faith they would deliver and cancelled the job for a full refund. I would have expected no less than my money back, which I received 2 working days later. All-in-all a pointless, time-wasting exercise.

Avoid! Try another transport service!

I recently moved to a new flat and I needed the services of a removal company. Searched for quotes on Checkatrade and after getting a really outrageous quote for £385! I found AnyVan. I found their prices to be extremely reasonable. I called and they were able to give me a next day removal date, which was great for me. Not only are AnyVan prices great but their performance was even better. Polite, arrived on time, and they got the job done and transfered my furniture to my new flat. More than pleased and I highly recommend AnyVan to anyone needing a trustworthy removal service

I had a very large heavy bookcase to be transported. The item was collected then delivered to me the next day, as promised. The service was helpful and cheerful. The price was reasonable. Recommended.

After days of promises from the driver that he will call me and also he kept changing the times of collection.
I have emptied the storage and he was supposed to be there at 12.pm and than he changed it to 2.pm and 3.pm and 3:45pm. I told him the storage is closing at 4.pm
Finally at 4, pm he called me that he can't make it cause of the traffic.
They did not refund me or help me or even answer my emails.
My furniture were outside of the storage for the whole weekend (luckily no damage) but had to pay for another company on the next Monday to collect my things.

Used them the second time now. The first time round the service provided by the Anyvan agent and the mover (who was simply a broker) and not one who moved our goods was to be fair not the greatest. No problem with the guy delivering who was Polish and worked like clock work.
This time on the other hand both the agent Tom Wilmot and the driver Peter Blanche were phenomenal. No complaints at all. Easy to work with, great communication and brilliant service.

Very happy with the service, the driver Marian and his colleague arrived on time and the sofa was delivered as expected. They were both very helpful. The service is affordable and very easy to book and manage. I was updated often on whereabouts of my sofa. Highly recommended.

Asked for transfer of piano from Ayr to Glasgow with about 2 hours notice. Polite response about 40 minutes later,, piano collected and transported to Glasgow within about 4,5 hours. Excellent service, polite responses from driver, Garry, and very reasonable cost.

This was a very horrible experience. I was left waiting all day for my transport provider to turn up, did they? No. They ignored my phonecalls, so no communication at all, and Anyvan now ignore me, and they refuse the refund. As a result I had to book another provider (they were brilliant). But Anyvan are horrible and waste so much of your time. AVOID at all costs!

I originally booked with VanPlus. They called the next day to cancel, saying they couldnt find a driver willing to do the job. Re-booked with Anyvan who where almost half the price with a bigger van and two willing and able movers. Move was quick and without a hitch. Many thanks AnyVan (although Im sure drivers would appreciate a bigger cut of the price)

They moved the furniture very quickly and with great care. They were very polite, respectful and helpful. I will definately recommend them to family and friends.

I booked a van with any van, paid up in full. I received a phone call a day before my moving date, they could not send I van in the morning as planned and they were cancelling the van and will reimburse me my money in 3-7 working days. I asked to talk to the manager, he was very very unhelpful. He only agreed to send a van on the agreed date and time after I had been very firm with him and told him the I was going to sue them. Terrible terrible service. Very rude and disrespectful. When the van guys came, they were both very helpful an polite unlike their management. I could not submit with!/2 a star so I had to choose 1 star. The 1 star is for the two men who came to do the ground work, their management deserve a 0 star.
