"A Place for mom" was a huge asset in helping my sisters and I, when it came time for our mom to move to an assisted living home. Our representative was knowledgeable, understanding, empathetic and showed great patience. Having never been down this road before the whole process would have been agony without their guidance and knowledge. From helpful and educational emails on various topics to supplying us with a list of properties to tour, and following up questions about decisions or additional information.
Please don't trust these people. They are all in it together. They stole all my mother's money and promised she'd always have a place to stay. They threw her in the hospital and refused to take her back into their facility when she finally got to another facility, they starved her to death. She went from 124 pounds down to 86 pounds in one month during Covid. I wasn't allowed to visit, they killed her Do not trust them they are all in it together. They act like they want to help you and they're so sympathetic soon as they get your money you can't get in touch with them.
It was helpful to have several places pulled up for us to look at and consider. Saved us time. Reviews were very helpful.

My advisor was an excellent communicator. She gave me solid direction and helped me tremendously through the process.

Needed advice about where to start
During a time of "immediate" need due to unfortunate circumstances, Jackie was there to listen, guide, sympathize and provide expert support. She was fantastic with follow up and very easy to work with. I was faced with a decision that I did not foresee, and she helped me through. I appreciate all of the support and help!
I found during my search for Assisted Living facilities, and a friend there after also said to reach out.
When my mom suffered a stroke and required 24 hr care, I didn't really know where to begin. A Place for Mom provided me with a lot of help and support.
I subtracted one star because of the aggressiveness of their marketing machine. It really is too much.

I was reviewing a memory care facility on line and received a call from A Place for Mom. Within a very short period I had a contact person and appointments at 2 locations to tour for placement for my brother. Helpful and caring people!
We used A Place for Mom when placing our mother in assisted living in 2019. We were pleased with the location until COVID and that changed everything. I regret not contacting A Place for Mom in November 2023 when my brother’s journey began. It has been a nightmare trying to obtain proper care for our loved one.

From shortly after I submitted my request, to after we had placed my mom (which was a lengthy process with a lot of barriers, twists, and turns), Julianne was there to offer support and guidance and sometimes just a friendly ear when I was overwhelmed. The help gained from trying to do much of this remotely was fantastic! Definitely would recommend.

Once my brothers doctors suggested we find an assisted living home for him we panicked not having any idea of how to go about it. Fortunately we met Natalie Schneller (on the internet) and she was so helpful in finding a place for my brother that I will never be able to thank her enough. She showed true concern along with us, continuing to help until we did find a place and still continued to contact me after placement to insure that we did not need more help which we did and she helped in solving our problems. Note-about a year after placement Natalie called to ask how is your brother doing (Wow what a person) sadly I had to inform her my brother had just passed away.
When inquiring about assisted living A Place for Mom, Natalie Schneller contacted me and immediately started helping. Because of the help and concern she showed I was shore she would help and she did.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I found that I was going to be moving from Nevada to Texas at fairly short notice. So I reached out to A Place For Mom because I had seen it advertised on TV and thought it might be a good place to start. It turned out that it was a very good place to start. My contact found me places near the area where I wanted to end up living. I was able to do virtual tours with these places, select my top two and then traveled to Texas to make my final choice after an actual tour. I appreciate all the help A Place For Mom has given me. I look forward to living in my new home soon.
