A Place for Mom

Placing my mom outside of her home sounded like a good idea, but actually seeking communities was hard. Working with A Place For Mom was somewhat comforting as they were an unbiased real person to speak to during the process...even when I didn't want to talk about it, they stayed in contact with me and sometimes let me vent with no sales push (thank you). I'm not sure if that's part of their process, but I surely appreciate it. My Sales contact still did her job in sticking with the sale, but that's why I called them, right? Lol Anyway, my experience was positive and I'm happy I called for assistance.

Martha was persistent in helping find a memory care facility for my dad. She was there until he was placed, helping make phone calls and reaching out to facilities on my behalf. Not sure I could have covered as much ground without her. I am so thankful for Martha!

I had barely hit the "enter" key on A Place For Mom's website when I received a call from them! Within a few minutes, I had a list of senior communities in my area to check out, and not long after that I had an appointment to visit one. My coordinator did a great job, and now my dad is ready to move to a great memory care community.

Our rep, Christy, at A Place for Mom was perky, patient, kind, and on top of her game. This process is overwhelming, and she literally took away all our worries. Best of all, we found the most ideal place in our preferred location and price point. Everybody's happy! I highly recommend this company.

It's a difficult time regardless of how much you think you know, but the team, especially Kelley Brit was understanding and allowed us to go at our pace. I recommend any family that is in need of care for a loved one to reach out and make the call.

I was overwhelmed with the process of looking for a Memory Care Community for my mother that would offer her some level of independence. After trying to gather information on my own (a frustrating process), I decided to contact A Place for Mom, and was connected with Leslee. She listened to my mother's needs and budget, and made appointments for me to tour a handful of communities. I found the perfect community for my mother, and she is now thriving in her new home.

Mira Vie in Brick was suggested by A place for Mom. We toured the facility and thought it would work. However, on the way home, we decided to go back to the Chelsea, as we visited once before. (A Place for Mom also suggested.) Chelsea was bought by Mira Vie! We toured this facility, loved it, and have since had my loved one move in. It was a good decision,

Very helpful with answering all my questions and asking questions about my parents that helped the advisor make recommendations on places. My advisor then set up appointments for us to visit the recommended places. They were great with follow up calls and such a great asset for our family.

From the first phone call, A Place for Mom, was friendly and educational. They took our information and immediately matched us to available places and even helped set up the interviews. We narrowed it down from 6 quickly, and had 2 awesome places to decide from. We made a great choice and could not be happier with the caring community we found for my mom. I knew we needed assisted living for my dad and had no idea where to start. A Place for Mom made that the easy part. After a brief phone call with them so they could better understand my circumstances, they connected me with a person knowledgeable about my area. Within minutes I had a list of places to explore as well as several appointments to tour them. They kept following up and suggesting additional places until we finally made a choice. They helped me with questions to ask and things to look for as we toured the places along with additional resources. I felt well supported and armed with knowledge as I took this journey into the unknown. I'm highly recommend A Place for Mom for anyone looking for alternative housing options for family members.

A Place for Mom was extremely helpful to me when I had to move mom from independent living to Assisted Living and then to a memory care facility. Just couldn't have done it without them. They were immensely kind and professional, and gave me facilities around my budget. They have ma y resources at their fingertips. Great organization!

We didn't know what to do or how to find a retirement community for my sister. I filled out the form on line and a place for mom contacted me and talked me through options. We then received calls and emails from several places. We had multiple options in our budget. This is a wonderful service and I highly recommend them.

Shilah Jackson was so helpful and had she not sent us the place to look at it would have take us much longer. My mom is moved in the Crest. I am very happy with how all this turned out. We were given a month or so to move my in-laws to a facility with memory care. A Place for Mom did an intake of what we were looking for, our budget, etc and within an hour emailed us a handful of local facilities. We toured a couple and one stood out right away. A text to follow up on how we liked places was sent. At one point I asked for a couple more options and was sent a couple more. But we went with the one we first went to. I recommend this service, as it took the leg work out of figuring out which facilities were highly rated for memory care, which ones my in laws could stay together, etc.

They found us the perfect place for our parent! They understood his needs and his financial status.

Very helpful in giving me various places to visit. However, I think you should check these places before you suggest them. Some of them had terrible reviews & were a waste of time. Nevertheless, you all were helpful & I found my place thru you.

This organization did a great job providing multiple lists of Assited Living locations for my parents. They followed up often to see how the search was going. Very grateful to have their resources for the help we needed.
