"A Place for mom" was a huge asset in helping my sisters and I, when it came time for our mom to move to an assisted living home. Our representative was knowledgeable, understanding, empathetic and showed great patience. Having never been down this road before the whole process would have been agony without their guidance and knowledge. From helpful and educational emails on various topics to supplying us with a list of properties to tour, and following up questions about decisions or additional information.
Please don't trust these people. They are all in it together. They stole all my mother's money and promised she'd always have a place to stay. They threw her in the hospital and refused to take her back into their facility when she finally got to another facility, they starved her to death. She went from 124 pounds down to 86 pounds in one month during Covid. I wasn't allowed to visit, they killed her Do not trust them they are all in it together. They act like they want to help you and they're so sympathetic soon as they get your money you can't get in touch with them.
Excellent experience. Just call a place for Mom, they will do the rest. Calls from different places will Bergen to come in from different facilities.
Have a pin and paper ready to take notes.
In a time of stress they stepped up and gave us direction and guidance. It was so so helpful

From the first call to the last, Lynn from A Place for Mom was extremely helpful. She saved so much time by providing pertinent information needed upfront such as pricing, ratings, and other details I couldn't find online without personally contacting each facility.
Lynn offered encouragement and very good advice along the way and started our search in the right direction. She listened carefully to our needs and found facilities to fit those specifications, even as they changed along the way.
When ready to tour, she took our availability and set the tours up for us which also saved so much time! She would check in via phone, email or text and was easy to connect with when needed.
My mother has just settled in at her new home and we are grateful for the help in the beginning of our search.
It came up on a late night online search of desperation and I had remembered seeing commercials. I was contacted the following morning and was so grateful for the guidance and information Lynn provided.
They have been so helpful in my search for living accommodations for my father! And there was no cost to me! They send numerous texts with helpful information.
It was a recommendation.
My dad was recently hospitalized, then moved to rehab. He still wasn't quite well enough to go home, so I contacted A Place for Mom, to learn about some local assisted living facilities. My dad also has a catheter, so the options were limited because he would require "enhanced" assisted living, which requires different licensure. I dealt with Laura Berg, and she called me immediately, gave me several options to look into, and sent info to each of the facilities she knew had an enhanced assisted living option. They all got back to me right away and we selected the one that we felt would suit my dad's needs best. Laura Berg was very compassionate and extremely helpful in helping us to find a good fit.
I had used A Place for Mom back in 2016, when my mom needed assisted living. She had early onset Alzheimer’s disease, so we were looking for a place that would have assisted living to start with, but also a memory care unit for when that time would come. They were very responsive and found several places for us. We toured all of them, and ultimately ended up with a great facility. She was in the general assisted living area, with a small apartment, for 3.5 years. Her Alzheimer’s advanced to the point where she needed memory care, so she was moved to that unit and stayed there for 1.5 years. Eventually she needed skilled nursing care and was moved to another facility but those years in assisted living were wonderful for her and gave us peace of mind, knowing she was safe.
Very helpful advice and information about available facilities as our family navigated a rapidly changing set of medical issues for a family memeber.

I recently contacted A Place for Mom for help in finding an independent living solution for a dear friend. The senior advisor I dealt with was very knowledgeable and able to give me a list of places based on my specific criteria. She even helped with setting up tour appointments for me. I found the perfect place the very next day! The service is totally free….I recommend A Place for Mom for anyone needing guidance in locating a living situation for a loved one.
I didn’t know where to turn for help and I was guided to call them by a friend who had used them with good results.
When my family reached out to A Place for Mom, we were dealing with an urgent situation with a loved one. The Senior Living Advisor promptly provided a list of suitable communities to get the ball rolling and provided advice throughout the process. She even checked in later on to see how things were going. There is no doubt her assistance saved us a lot of time and effort, and I am very thankful for that.
We chose A Place for Mom because they had been suggested to us by several people. A family member recommended them specifically because they were helpful in a similar situation in the past.
What a great service! They found me a place for my dad on the first try. 10 stars!
We used it for my mother in law in the past
Nicholle was wonderful. She provided options that were in our price range, then did some additional digging to let us know who had specials going on or facilities that had extra amenities so that the search was easy for us.
I used A Place for Mom to help find a facility for my mother in 2017 and we used it again to help a friend with no family and who was suffering from the results of several mini-stroked. It is a wonderful business.
Missy was an amazing partner in tailoring the search criteria to what we were specifically looking for. She had personal experience of having been in the home that we chose and she helped us in our search every step of the way. She emailed, texted and took phone calls and adjusted the search criteria as we needed. We got 12 very good leads from her to check out and my Uncle is now in the perfect situation for the level of care he needs in a home that is AMAZING!

A place for mom did all the legwork for us. We answered a few questions and they got us in contact with a local representative in our area. He helped us narrow down what would be best for my uncle. He set up the appointments. He checked back every few days to see how we were doing if he could assist in anyway if we had any questions While the whole process was stressful, a place for mom made it much easier
I used a place for Mom three years ago for my own mother to help her find a place that would be best for her
A place for mom was a great help transitioning my dad into an assisted living facility. They helped me every step of the way answering all my questions and providing me the facility names that were within my budget. They checked in on my progress often. I would highly recommend their service.
I found them online and they contacted me immediately. They were very patient with me
Brian was great! He was courteous, patient and very informative. He quickly shared information on 3 locations and made appointments for me to visit either in person or virtually. I ended up taking the first place in his list as a great new apartment and home for my Dad.
I was searching on the web for places for seniors to live and stumbled across your website.
My wife and I required an assisted living facility that would accept my bed bound wife. Eric was able to comb through his vast inventory and find just the right place for us, Phoenix at Milton. Thank you Eric!
Saw the TV ads.
In searching for a place for my dad, it was becoming very overwhelming until I found A Place for Mom! They quickly took my information, gave me a list of facilities that would meet our needs, and continued to check on us until the process was finished to make sure we didn't need anymore help.

I received invaluable information regarding my moms needed level of care form the friendly rep I spoke with. James was familiar with the geographic area I was interested in and knew the particulars of the different options. He was patient and sensitive to budget needs. He asked questions about my mothers particular needs and was able to make personalized suggestions. We did end up choosing one of his suggestions. I am grateful for his expertise and the time he spent speaking with me as well as helping set up appointments.
I was making inquiries on my own and had toured several places which were not a good fit for my mother. It was time consuming and frustrating. I had seen the ads on TV for a Place for Mom and basically called out of desperation. I’m so glad I did.
When we heard my father's assisted living facility was closing, we immediately contacted a place for Mom and within minutes we had four options to consider. We chose the first one we saw. Each facility had its own pluses and minuses, but the one we chose for Dad hit all the pluses.
Seven years ago, we chose a place for Mom when Dad was first going into assisted-living. We knew we had to go right back to the source.
I was able to connect with an advisor immediately and received very helpful information regarding options and assistance setting up appointments/tours.
I was researching options online and the website appeared
My now 91 years young Mother was hit with some serious medical issues about 18 months ago. She was bedridden for 3 months, which caused serious muscle degeneration. She has been living in my brother's home, but needed her independence, so I contacted A Place for Mom.
I was researching assisted living places and an add popped up. I filled out a quick questionnaire, and was contacted within minutes.
From my Mothers sudden and life changing diagnosis, Joy with A Place for Mom offered comfort, compassion, vital information, and basically guided us through the difficult decisions and options available. With their expert knowledge, they helped us every step of the way. From taking our information and doing all of the research that would have overwhelmed even the smartest person, to helping us with what places were available and what questions were asked. They were our liaison between the hospital Social Worker and all the facilities. Most importantly, they listened to us, validated our emotions and reminded us, that everything would be ok.

I was hesitant to call for help, but had heard commercials and decided in our situation I needed guidance in finding care for our senior. I received a call from Rose and she was so understanding and helpful and walked me through every step of the process in finding a facility and suggesting applying for VA benefits. I would have been lost without her knowledge and patience in helping me navigate it all. I would HIGHLY recommend the services to anyone needing to locate a senior living facility.
Because of my first impression with my Senior Living Advisor Rose. She was professional, understanding and patient with my situation. She was helpful in every conversation we had and is a great representative for A Place for Mom.
Jamie was so helpful and supportive! I couldn't have gotten my sister in such a caring placement without her help!
