A Place for Mom

Rebecca has been great, giving and getting the information I needed and always following up on progress.

I had been recently tasked with the job of finding my brother a place to live in Arizona. Moving him from Illinois to AZ and finding a place that was affordable was very stressful for me. Wendy Souza was an amazing help to me. Most importantly was that she listened to me, and I really felt like she cared for my individual situation. She sent me several places to visit, made the appointments for me and eventually I found the right place for my brother.

I needed a place quickly for my brother. Kathy was so on top of it from the beginning. I got appointments quickly and great advice.

Brian Turnof was very kind and helpful to me when I was looking for memory care options for my mother. He gave me several options and set up the tours on my behalf. He also gave me information on benefits that may be available to assist with her care. His assistance helped make a very stressful time a little less stressful for me.

After answering questions about my needs, I was given several options of places that might work for my dad. She set up appointments for us to tour 3 facilities. We chose the 3rd one we visited. She kept in contact with me to make sure everything was satisfactory. She was very helpful

I can't praise APFM enough. Not only Michelle Lorusso but her team that rounded up a list of facilities within our budget and radius provided excellent service, and a priceless amount of understanding about intra-family difficulties. Doing the right thing for someone should not be so painful, but APFM seems to have seen it all many times before. No good deed goes unscathed in this world, but let these people make it easier, because they will.

Jennifer was so helpful through all the ups and downs that we went through to find my mother the correct place. I appreciate her kindness, her follow through, and not giving up on me as we worked through family issues. I would recommend her and a place for mom.

Rebecca took her time to help me with my search to find an independent living home for my mom.

I filled out the info online, and within 24 hours, Janice Ryalls called me back. She advised me of my options, and recommended several places in the area. We went to several, and chose the best option for us. We had a few setbacks, and Janice would always call and offer solace or just someone to talk to. When it all worked out, she called to say how happy she was for us.

They helped to find the right place for my mom based on her issues and finances.

I called them and let them know what was going on and what we needed and they had places for us to visit so fast. Really appreciate them so much and would recommend them to anyone else having to find a place that is right for a parent.

I will start by saying I had no clue how to begin the process of taking care of my dad. Kelly was amazing! She explained so much about the mental aspect as well as how and what to do. She was so patient and kind. Even dad flipped and flopped a little bit. She assisted my sisters and I on what to do. It took so much stress off my family. I was hesitant that I would start getting a bunch of messages and emails from all over the place and that was not the case. Anyone going into a placement situation. Give A place for mom a call. This is the second time I used A Place for Mom. I I experienced a great deal of compassion and understanding from everyone I talked to at a place for Mom. It was very helpful to gain an understanding of the different types of placements. A place for Mom made this experience much easier and I would recommend them to anyone who needs to find a place for their loved one.

I worked full time and took care of mom [all ADLs] 24/7 when I was not working, and so I was exhausted from getting up every hour or two every night for months and needed help finding a good place for her, and the folks at A Place for Mom understood what was going on and they were really helpful finding a good place. When I reached out to a Place for Mom after a discussion of mom's situation and needs I was immediately given several options for possible places which could support mom with memory care. The team there helped set up virtual tours of the facilities, and within a couple weeks mom was welcomed to her new home. During the move in and subsequent visits I have been really impressed by the care facility. I reached out to A Place For Mom at a very difficult time in my life. I needed help to place my husband after hospitalization. I wasn't sure what type of facility I was looking for. Eric Blyweis talked to me and immediately gave me some ideas. He made the initial contacts for me, made appointments for me and gave me ideas on what to ask. He was familiar with each place and was able to answer many of my questions. I finally was able to choose the right place and Eric followed up with me at every stage of the process. I never felt rushed when speaking to him. He was a very good listener.

Such great help in everyday possible to help with making a great decision Ashley is the very best In finding a place for me.

ERIN KLANCAR was our liaison to find and work with facilities. She alleviated the heavy work and research for us. She stayed on top of all moving parts. She continuely reached out to us to make sure we had all our questions answered. She made sure we understood the steps and was willing to help if we needed it. It went smoothly.

Used your on line service and was able to find a good place live with my husband. Looks like a great place for him in the Memory Care unit. Also many tips as I explore being a caregiver.
