A Place for Mom

Everyone was so helpful. They worked so hard to help me find a great place for my mother. When one place did not work out-they immediately gave me other suggestions. The knowledge they had was so amazing.

Immediately, Cathy Emerson called me to ask about our needs. It was such a relief to have someone to advise with knowledge and experience. In addition, she set up tours for me to see which facility would be the best for Pop. Appointments were set for the following week, she called after each
"tour" to see if it seemed like a good "fit" and was it what I was looking for. It was like having someone leading the way to help you find exactly what you were looking for. I cannot recommend "A Place for Mom" enough! What a relief to have Cathy at my side to guide me in this journey. We had no idea as to where to start looking for a suitable home to place our mother where she could get the care she needed and still be independent. We called A Place For Mom and they set it all up for us from booking appointments to tour places and giving us all the information we needed to make an informed choice.

This time, again, A Place for Mom has done exceptional for me. They have taken the guesswork out of finding a facility for my parents. If you wonder if you should call them, You Should! Exceptional counselor who wanted to genuinely assist with the best and most appropriate placement.

I have a parent who made it to 96 years of age eschewing traditional medicine. She had no primary care physician and had made no preparations for the day when she might not be able to live alone at home. Thus, it was necessary for her children to enter the picture and help out when her health took a turn for the worse.

Figuring out the options, costs, and how to approach the situation was difficult. There were so many issues for which we were unprepared.

Through voice calls, text messages, and email exchanges with a wonderful rep named Keri from APFM, we successfully navigated the situation. Today, our mom is in the best possible situation.

She initiated leads and in the end, I made a connection that finally fit what he needed. And this was during the Christmas/New Years Holiday gauntlet. Many thanks! It's such a relief for me that we found a living situation that my dad felt comfortable in.

When my loved one could no longer life in an assisted living facility safely, I didn't know where to turn. I knew I didn't want to place him in a nursing home but wasn't aware of any other options until I called A Place for Mom. Not only did Melanie, the senior care specialist I spoke with, reassure me that there were senior care facilities with memory care units located in my area, she gave me a list, contacted them and set up appointments for me to tour, ask questions and determine if this was the right place. She followed through, calling me to ask about my experiences and to see if I had any questions or if she could provide any additional information or assistance.

A Place For Mom made my search for the right assisted living facility for my father easier than I expected. They answered all of my questions, scheduled all of my tours and helped me best understand what questions to ask and what to look for when touring.

I was in need of help for my 97-year-old relative and had contacted local healthcare providers with no real results. I had seen the commercials for a Place for Mom and thought I'd give them a try. Well, I could not be more impressed with the speed in which they contacted me and how they helped me find a solution. Initially, I did not think they did in home care, but I was delighted that they had contacts that I did not even know about in my area. Jon, my Place for Mom consultant, was caring and efficient. He even put me in contact with a VA support group that also contacted me. Finally, all this service and the cost was $0! I am so grateful to a Place for Mom for guiding me to a place where I can breathe a bit easier getting the help I needed. I highly recommend this service.

I was looking for an independent living facility and I was in a bit of a hurry. A Place for Mom contacted numerous places that reached out to me right away. I was able to schedule visits to several places immediately and in four days I selected a place that is a great fit. I highly recommend them! A painless way to make a big move!

I called and was contacted by Erika. She was very helpful in finding a place for my uncle. She planned all the tours. All we had to do is show up and tour the places. It was easy and simple. I would recommend this to anyone in need. Very helpful.

Had great support with Diane Ambroziak. She returned my calls at a reasonable time and researched places that could help me with my mom's care. However, I received a text message from someone from your company wanting information about how CarePro was working out. I just deleted that text today so I can't give you specifics. I told her they were a nightmare and I suggest you not recommend them for Home Care again. I reported them to Adult Protective Services also but have not heard back from them. The lady that text me and asked me about them told me she was sorry for my experience and I never heard another word about it.

Sarah went above and beyond the services and really worked hard to understand my goals. Sarah was the intervention on my behalf. I couldn't have got through this without her graciousness and encouragement.

I learned much with the articles and information shared. My worker was very thorough and did a great job relating info to the facilities I looked at and helping me find the right area I was looking for. She found facilities that had special needs for my parents as well, like oxygen. She followed up with me and the facilities to make sure we found the right fit. She was very supportive to me and my many issues both with family and personal issues I was experiencing. The support was very much appreciated!

I was at my wits end not knowing what my next move would be to get the best help for my father. I started googling on the internet and came across a place for mom. They responded right of way. Melissa my senior advisor listened carefully to the delimma I was in. She knew right of way I was reaching out for help. Melissa got to work right of way giving me hope and inspiration. Within a week Melissa had found several places to view, within that week we found a very nice place for my dad to reside in. I must say he is really enjoying it as I speak. I would love to thank Melissa and her team for caring.

I first looked up their website. Called for to check it out. Within 5 minutes I received a second call from a local representative. She was very helpful in listening to my needs. Shortly after the phone call I received an email with a list of 6-8 Assisted Living agencies. I set up a tour for the next day with one. I received a phone call from another assisted living agency (because I had shared my Info with my first call), set up a tour with him the next day. I re-visited this agency with my uncle. This was the Assisted living agency we chose. This service was free and very helpful! Thank you!
