"A Place for mom" was a huge asset in helping my sisters and I, when it came time for our mom to move to an assisted living home. Our representative was knowledgeable, understanding, empathetic and showed great patience. Having never been down this road before the whole process would have been agony without their guidance and knowledge. From helpful and educational emails on various topics to supplying us with a list of properties to tour, and following up questions about decisions or additional information.
Please don't trust these people. They are all in it together. They stole all my mother's money and promised she'd always have a place to stay. They threw her in the hospital and refused to take her back into their facility when she finally got to another facility, they starved her to death. She went from 124 pounds down to 86 pounds in one month during Covid. I wasn't allowed to visit, they killed her Do not trust them they are all in it together. They act like they want to help you and they're so sympathetic soon as they get your money you can't get in touch with them.
A Place for Mom made the difficult process easier. From start to finish, the details were handled and my mind was free to process and look at each facility. I would highly recommend this service if you are transitioning a loved one.
I chose this because I needed help with the plethora of information and research necessary in this process.

Each Tour was better than the last, and gave me what I was looking for, for mom
I was having trouble finding facilities. With your help, I was able to find a place located close to other family, closer to me to visit also. The facility was beautiful, clean and the staff really seemed to care.

Out of desperation I went online and answered the questions within minutes I was connected to Paul and within 15minutes I had an appointment for that day for Certus Memory Care. Ashley from Certus called me and from that call until after getting my Mom moved in she was my go to person! She helped with everything from a company that help me move my mom's furniture in to being there helping me move my mom in. She's a true Angel. Thank you a place for Mom for connecting me with Ashley!

Our advisor was very knowledgeable, easy to reach out to, and pointed us in the direction of several assisted living facilities that we didn't know about. I did find that all of the phone calls and emails from the different places we spoke about got a bit overwhelming.

Initial contact with Stepanie at a Place For Mom, and all subsequent followups were extemely helpful. I had narrowed down possibilities to two for memory care, and Stephanie provided information on these facilities, as well as arranged initial and subsequent visits. She provided contacts for applications for VA pension and aide and attendance benefits. She would check on us frequently, and we moved my mom to the facility this week. Thus far, we are satisfied with the care there.

At first I was not going to call a place for mom as I am a nurse and thought I could do myself. There was a point I was getting frustrated, I prayed and he led me to call a place for mom. And praise God I did Leah was so helpful I could not have done it without her constant support. She is awesome and she was persistent in helping me find the right place for my mom! I have already gave her name to another person for their dad.

We had help before we knew we needed it. The hospital contacted A Place for Mom and they handled everything.

My wife and I were put in a position where we had to find assisted living for her mom in a hurry. She was in the hospital due to a fall, and no rehab facilities would take her due to her condition. I went to the aPlaceforMom website to get help with starting our search for assisted living options. Christy was great! She called me shortly after I submitted my needs online. She asked questions about our care needs and recommended several assisted living options. My wife and I were able to take tours of the recommended places within a couple of days. We chose one of the recommended options for Sheryls mom. We were able to move her in less than a week and she is doing great! Contacts listened to the situation about my loved ones needs. Giving the initial list of places made it so easy. Gave good advice. Communicated when i needed but not intrusive. Helpful with arranging lunches for my love one to visit the places we needed to see together. The automatic emails with info to read about elderly situations very helpful.
