"A Place for mom" was a huge asset in helping my sisters and I, when it came time for our mom to move to an assisted living home. Our representative was knowledgeable, understanding, empathetic and showed great patience. Having never been down this road before the whole process would have been agony without their guidance and knowledge. From helpful and educational emails on various topics to supplying us with a list of properties to tour, and following up questions about decisions or additional information.
Please don't trust these people. They are all in it together. They stole all my mother's money and promised she'd always have a place to stay. They threw her in the hospital and refused to take her back into their facility when she finally got to another facility, they starved her to death. She went from 124 pounds down to 86 pounds in one month during Covid. I wasn't allowed to visit, they killed her Do not trust them they are all in it together. They act like they want to help you and they're so sympathetic soon as they get your money you can't get in touch with them.
Very helpful in getting someone quickly to sit with my Brother
Very professional and understanding
My mother was in another assisted living facility when they decided to close at the last minute. I was given a month to find her a new place. I called A PLACE FOR MOM, and was connected with Mimi. I can't say enough good things about her. She was friendly, compassionate, listened to my needs regarding our particular circumstance, and was just an angel from start to finish. It was a very daunting task in my mind before I talked to Mimi. However, she made the process a lot less stressful. I am eternally grateful to Mimi and A Place For Mom.
I had seen ads on TV. I was put into a situation where I needed to find a new place for my mom quickly. A Place For Mom did not disappoint. They made the process a lot less daunting and stressful.
This company is not trustworthy. From the beginning it was a bad experience followed by call after call from more than one number. I would never trust a company like this with my parents care when they start out with lies and harassment.

Beth was very kind and understanding when it came to finding the best place for my sister-in-law. My husband and I talked to my sister-in-law to see what her wishes was. Beth listened with a kind personnal loving heart. We found a perfect place for her. Without the help of A Place for Mom, we would still be looking.
A place for Mom continues to follow up to see how everything is going after she was placed in the perfect living assisting place. There's no words that can really say how blessed we was to find A place for Mom.
We seen the advertised on tv many times. However, one of our family member told us about it.
Corrie Nance was assigned as my guide for my area. I could not ask for a more patient, accommodating person. She took her time to explain the differences between the types of facilities and tirelessly answered all my endless questions. She assisted in having representatives from nearby assisted living businesses contact me and answer my questions about their homes. I unfortunately concluded that I needed a more traditional nursing home and she pointed me in the right direction.
There is simply nothing like "A Place For Mom" in the country! They are dedicated to their clients, unbiased in their recommendations as long as the facility works with them. Ms.Nance worked with me for weeks and I know I drove her crazy!
You can rest easy in working with A Place For Mom, whether for yourself or for a loved one.

Erin was fantastic help. I was dreading to have to search for places for my Dad on my own.
The Presidential Places was the best for our needs. Looking forward to moving mom in
They did all the leg work so I didn't have to worry about it. Very helpful and such a timesaver for me
I heard about it before and when I googled independent living it was the first thing that caught my eye
When you first begin looking at solutions for helping an aging relative find care or a good retirement community, it is overwhelming. A Place for Mom gives you a good list of choices along with additional reviews and insights about each option. I received followup messages on a regular basis but not too often which was good. This process is challenging and at times difficult. A Place for Mom helped in narrowing down the selections.
I needed a place to start and some frame of reference on how good a retirement community might be. A Place for Mom gave me a list to start with based on our discussions and then refined it as the search went on. I also knew I could ask for additional help if I needed it along the way.
After an unexpected hospitalization we needed to move our parents to an assisted living. The day after hospitalization Karen from A Place for Mom contacted me. She guided us through the process, set up tours, gave suggestions on things to look for. Her help was invaluable navigating the move. Would highly recommend A Place for Mom

I appreciated the list of assisted-living facilities I was given, and they were a great help in guiding me. After that I got emails that I felt were helpful, and helping my mother with the transition
I chose it because it popped up online, I did not know that it was a service but I was grateful once I found out
Very supportive. Flexible with them changing their minds several times.
I had heard of it before.
I was able to talk with a representative, gain insight, and determine what steps I should take.
It offered guidance for a situation I had no experience with.
We were desperate to find help and felt overwhelmed. A place for mom helped us to navigate through the experience as quickly as we needed them to. It was a huge relief to have help.
It was recommended to us.
I was really overwhelmed with finding a suitable place for my mother and A Place for Mom was an absolute God send. They put me in touch with the people I needed to get in touch with, they scheduled tours for me, provided important checklists to follow to help me choose which facility was best and they stayed in contact with me through out the entire process. I would have been completely lost without them. There were never any fees to me or my mother and no hidden gotcha's. I highly recommend their service.
Because I was overwhelmed with the search process and really needed help from professionals to help guide me through it.
Gave me a handful of places to review for our needs as well as client reviews.
Sent helpful articles on what to ask and look for in a facility.
And how to determine about safety. Ever y question was answered before I could even think of questions
It just felt right and honest
I went online to the website, answered a few questions, and within 30 minutes or so I was getting a call. The case manager was very helpful in finding places that were is my desired distance. He emailed me several places and I could look at pictures and get some useful information. The same day, representatives from the places that was sent to me called me to answer any questions. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We were able to get my dad into a wonderful facility within 7-10 days.
My dad requested me to contact them after seeing the commercial.
Natalie Drury helped me every step of the way to find a great memory care for my Dad. Finding a suitable home for someone with Dementia is extremely daunting and she assisted with everything concerning the search.
Still trying to find residence for my spouse- end of story will be described at a later time.
Suggested by many including PCP.
Place for Mom really helped get the ball rolling when I had no idea where to start. They helped get tours scheduled and ultimately led us to the facility we chose. Didn't know I would need such a service, really glad they were there.
Saw an advertisement online and it was free.
We were given appropriate contacts which were helpful in locating an assisted living facility. Our senior living adviser was efficient and helpful. Note:This statement is on all emails from our senior living advisor: "Our service is at no cost to your family as we are paid by our participating communities and providers". Our $3,500 deposit paid the invoice for A Place for Mom. After less than 3 months the assisted living facility told us we required more care than they could provide. We cannot get the deposit back. So essentially we paid the fee, not the provider.
From ads I had seen, I thought they would be able to help us locate an assisted living facility.

I can not possibly say enough good things about Rose. She was wonderful, compassionate, and gave me some great advice. When things like this happen, no one knows what to expect if you haven't been through it. It's difficult, but thank you again Rose for making a tough time a little bit easier.
Recommended by a good friend who had to figure out how she was going to help her mother. After A Place for Mom walked her through so many ways she could get assistance she knew I could use the same help
I highly recommend this service if you are looking at assisted living locations for your family member! I was contacted immediately once I registered on the site. The representative was patient and educated me on how to best serve my mother. I received follow up calls, assistance with site tours and educational materials.
I saw this page advertised on tv and needed help. I was very pleased with the service. The follow-up service is excellent.
When I called A Place for Mom to look for an assisted living facility for my father, I did not know what to expect. My advisor, Amanda, was knowledgeable and patient. She asked a lot of questions about my father and answered all of mine.
After our intake call I felt much calmer. She sent me a list of assisted living facilities within the distance I requested.
She called to follow up and find out my feedback and also referred me to other resources that could be of help.
My father is now living happily at one of the recommended places.
Thank you Amanda and A Place for Mom (and Dad lol)
After a fall the day after Christmas, my independently living 91 year old mother suddenly could no longer return to her home and required assisted living. Starting the process of looking for a place for her with a 2 week dead line (rehab discharge date) was overwhelming. One call to A Place for Mom connected me with a very helpful process guide who gave me nudges, friendly follow ups and a sympathetic ear. Jennifer was caring and extremely supportive yet unbiased in my search process. I would highly recommend this service to anyone in need and best of all it is free of charge to the user.
Husband was aware of it and suggested I give it a try.
