Highly knowledgeable of this industry. Within 30 minutes after contacting APFM, I had 5 confirmed appointments, complete with contact names, addresses, phone numbers and a description of services available. Highly, highly recommended!
Elison of Lake Worth. FL is getting bad, The food is mediocre at best, maintenance is poor.and Sagora Corp.,the owners, does not seem to want to invest a penny to remedy the situation. Moral is at an all time low with staff and residents. I would think twice about placing a loved one here.
Good business practices. They follow up to check for progress if they haven't heard from you. My Mom is very happy with her new home!

All my " advisor" did was call me nonstop. I found my own place for my dad. You don't need them, they are strictly a middle man trying to make money.

The information that I received helped my Mother and myself to make an educated and informed choice for her future residence.

We are happy to hear this!
As a Group Home/Assisted Living Home owner I can tell you from personal experience that "A Place For Mom" is all about the money they charge the Assisted Living Homes. They Do No visit any facility, Do Not bother to check out anything! All they do is take the information of the family and pass it on to an Assisted Living Home that will pay their Ridiculous fee of 120% of the 1st month charges. They are not going to provide any person the best places or closest, only the ones that pay their VERY HIGH Fees! I have personally never seen anyone every visit or show up from "A Place For Mom". There agents take internet leads and send them out with the hope of earning a substantial bonus fee at the expense of the Assisted Living Home. A small Group Home/Assisted Living Place has to pay their exorbitant fee for doing nothing! We are the ones that contact the family and try and get them to tour our home, etc. Unfortunately, should the new resident pass away before a couple of months or leave, WE GET SCREWED! It does not matter if is a week, "A Place for Mom" screws the Assisted Living Place! People have no idea what "A FOR PROFIT ONLY" crappy organization they are supporting at the expense of the people that may take care of their love ones!

Like several who have reviewed A Place For Mom, I too, came to the conclusion that it's all about the money. I called to try to get an idea of what was available in the area where my mom lives so that when the time came I would know how to help my dad Place her. I was very clear that we were not ready. "Oh, we're here for you" the personal assistant said. And then months of relentless emails and calls followed, not just from A Place For Mom, but also from facilities that were on the list. Except for the facility my dad, on his own found by doing lots of leg work. Yet somehow, though I never made the commitment, A Place For Mom was able to charge the facility my dad, who never talked to them, a rediculous amount of money. I think that happened because they called me one day and asked my mom's status. Because this facility was on the list they gave me, and because my mom was there, no matter that I hadn't made the decision to place her there, they were able to get $4800 from that facility. I will be seeking legal action. I can't even figure out how they get the money when I never made the decision to place mom. My dad made the decision, not because I told him about the place but because he went out and pounded the pavement on his own. DO NOT CALL. A PLACE FOR MOM unless you want months of badgering from ypthem and the facilities they give your name to.

I did my own research and found a place after a PFM failed. The facility still was charged when we moved dad there. Such a scam.

Thank you so much for sharing your positive experience with A Place For Mom! We are happy to hear our services were helpful and comforting throughout your search.
My mom loves non Kosher food. How can a place for mom welcome all if they are strictly Kosher. No dairy, shellfish, pork etc.
