I walked into Best Buy store in Ontario Canada today. My intentions were to outright buy a new 14 pro but they refused to tell me one. The guy behind the counter told me Apple refuses to sell directly through Best Buy unless you upgrade your plan. So if I wanted to upgrade my plan with Koodo from $25-$60 per month I could buy a phone? So who splits the extra $35 per month? I am sure Koodo gets some, Best Buy for sure and Apple? Of course Apple does. Why is Apple so focused on on forcing me to upgrade my plan to simply buy a phone? I have bought 12 iPhones directly from Best Buy over the past few years and never had a problem, why now? APPLE IS GREEDY! They just want as much money from you as possible and here is just another way. Apple has jumped the shark, their corporate greed is shameful. I used to love Apple because they seemed to care about their customers, that is not the case anymore. Greedy corp $#*!s.
No matter what my issue has been in the past, Ive always received top notch service and advice from Apple. The only con I can state is occasionally when I think Im chatting with support in Canada, its sometimes turned out that I was speaking with a customer service rep in the United States. This has proven to be problematic only in the fact that prices Ive been quoted for repairs and other services have been in USD. Currently the exchange rate between the US dollar & the Canadian dollar is so vast that costs are quite escalated in my own country.
