I had been trying to reach them out since 20 days for installation, they are not answering or responding. Pretty frustrating experience
We received a wall sculpture today from Artful Homes. It's called Birds in Flight. It is absolutely gorgeous. Ordering from Artful Homes was so easy. They kept in touch with us and let us know when we could expect shipment and delivery. The artist, Jennifer, not only did an incredible job hand-making each bird, but she created a detailed template to put on the wall along with very thorough notes. The final wall sculpture is better than we could have hoped.
I also ordered a fun pair of earrings from Artful Home. They were delivered promptly and are very artsy. I get a lot of positive comments about them.
If I could give more than five stars for Artful Home I definitely would.
I have ordered twice a dress and top from AH (Lisa Bayne) I looked as if I was 18 months pregnant in both in it. Any other good brand fits me perfect in size 6 or 8. I kept a third top which I altered myself, which I should not have done, to make the fit well. This is ridiculous for the prices AH charges. They have many lovely clothes, just my style. They must use many straight pins for the photo shoots. Unfortunately, no more AH purchases for me.
Very worst service please do not buy from this Artful site, they want the initial payment to be done but when we ask about the product they don't respond and pull your call in forwarded list. Worst worst and worst site
I am So disappointed with my pants that were shown in red with white and black. I do not believe it was a mistake, It would have been so much prettier if it was red, I will never trust this company again! Shame on them for the trickery!
Ordering off this website, shows something different than what they are sending per individual artists. A seafoam green pumpkin was advertised what I received was dark navy blue, not even close, and then to make me feel like I was at fault and asked to pay for shipping back never ordering from this company again.
They don't want my $300. I received a catalog blind, looked through it and found a beautiful item, called and placed an order with a nice man, at the end of the call we got disconnected, he never called me back even though he had my number, I called them right back and they lost my order. So I'm done with this company.
I placed an order for four items. They were sent to me in multiple boxes. The items are not true to size and I needed to return 3 items. Each had to be returned to each individual artist in different boxes AT YOUR EXPENSE! Just save your time and money and order from a different company. The items I received are poorly sized and cheaply constructed. Walmart has better clothing
My mother who is disabled had Covid in October and due to her disability and severe case of Covid she was unable to get to the post office to send back her order and now cannot return pajamas that do not fit her. Customer service had no empathy and refuse to even give her credit. She will never order from here again.
Love the selection. Hard to find this level of quality on the web, and at every price point. Have a number of pieces from Artful Home. Am never disappointed!
May 2023 - Artful Home has been deceitful and has not delivered since 1 month and now not returning my deposit of 5000 rupees.
Please do not buy anything from this fraud company.
I purchased a blouse on July 14,2023. It was shipped on the 17th, and I received it on the 20th. Sometime between the 14th and the 20th, it went on sale, almost $70.00 off the original price. I called to see if they would do a price adjustment, and was told since they were sold out of the blouse, they wouldn't do it. I asked if they would give me a credit to use for a future purchase, which I would happily do, as I am a good customer of theirs. Again, the answer was no. It makes no sense. What does the fact that the blouse is sold out have to do with honoring a price difference. I made it clear I didn't want to return it. They couldn't explain, only repeated it was store policy. It is a shameless policy, and terrible customer service, and they have lost me as a customer.
BTW Sitejabber wants me to include a POP which I am not about to do. It would include personal information that I'm not willing to have published. This is an honest review.
I ordered seven (7) items of clothing from Artful Home. The online catalog didn't mention that one of the items was a "Final Sale" and could not returned. The order confirmation came through with a note that the one item was a "Final Sale", but I didn't notice it. If I had, I would have cancelled that item as I always have to try clothes on to see how they fit once received.
After weeks of waiting for my order, I receive an email that the item in question (along with the other six (6) items were delayed and would ship as soon as possible. There was a photo of the item in question, along with a description, but no "Final Sale" notice in the email. Had there been proper notice, I would have cancelled at that point as well.
When the items finally arrived on January 25,2022 I was surprised to see on the pack slip that the item was a final sale. Of course, when I tried the dress on it was completely unflattering and contacted customer service to let them know that I couldn't wear the dress, had no idea when I ordered from the online catalog that it was a final sale and would they please issue me a return authorization.
I have been a good customer of Artful Home for many years. I have spend thousands of dollars on clothing and jewelry. Nevertheless, Jane in customer service keeps insisting that I had notice, their system won't allow them to process a return for the item and they won't issue me a credit for an item that I do not want.
The fact is they were inconsistent in their notices regarding "Final Sale." I would never have ordered the item had I known. Sometimes, in the interest of good faith and when a customer was unaware of a final sale restriction... customer service is supposed to do what is right. Instead, I am stuck with an almost $90.00 item of clothing that is useless to me.
In response to all of this, I have now decided to return all of the items in the order, request that they remove my email and regular mail address from their marketing lists and will never buy from them again.
Artful Home is a middleman business. It's sort of online gallery, for the most part, although they do carry some mainstream retail items that are (I assume) drop shipped from the manufacturers. So when you buy something it is shipped by the maker, artist or manufacturer, not from a warehouse. I have made a few good purchases from the site, but only for items that are on hand and ready to ship.
The business falls apart when something is made to order or backordered, because AH takes no responsibility for the transaction. I purchased a $600 article of clothing made from a hand-dyed textile, and was told it would ship "on or before X date." The item was paid for, in full, up front. The maximum fulfillment date was six weeks out. I heard nothing from AH for six and a half weeks, and when I contacted them I was told that the textile artist had been "inundated" with orders and was trying to catch up. The customer service agent said that AH considers orders to be "commissions" and that's why customers are always charged up front for all items. So? I was not complaining about the way they take orders, but about not being informed about the delay in fulfillment. This woman made a lot of excuses, but pointed; y avoided the fact that AH had not bothered to inform this customer there was no way in hell the $600 item was going to get to me within the fulfillment deadline, and that AH had no idea when it would be shipped. I repeat: she said that they could not commit to a shipping date!
The truly obnoxious part of this is that she was placing the blame entirely on the artist, not on AH. It's a dishonest take on how these galleries work, too. They take the full payment and do not pay the maker or artist for their portion (minus a hefty commission for AH, of course) until after the "commissioned" items ship and are accepted by the buyer. That's a long ride they take on a customer's funds. I would love to hear what the makers and artists think of AH. I don't think AH is doing their producers any favors. I canceled my order and requested a refund of my money. Why would I let AH sit on my $600 indefinitely, with no firm fulfillment date? That's nuts.
