It seems like a hundred years ago, when I first found out about and started using Winamp on my PC to listen to all my music files. I think I have been using it for around 15 or so years now and still love it to this day. The interface is simple, yet nice looking and it is an all around excellent audio player. I have not had any issues with it in all the years I have been using it. You used to be able to upgrade to the paid premium version, which was also excellent. I remember purchasing it on several different occasions. Sadly, they stopped updating the software for it a long time ago, but according to their website, that is going to change sometime in the future. I am really looking forward to what they are going to do Anyway, if you are looking for an easy to use, simple and very effective audio player for your PC, do give Winamp a shot. You've got nothing to lose.
I have been using winamp for what seems like 20 years since it was v2 and buggy as all get out. I love the new features and still use it to this day. I wish windows or more systems would with it pre-installed.
