Subjective Rating: Love & Hate

Explanation - This is NOT a mediocre site. This site had so much going for it, it was heading towards "Good/Great" or even the "Fantastic" status, but then had serious, SERIOUS flaws, that just dragged it all back down. It is possible that this can upset someone more than any other, and might make you lose sleep thinking about it.

Reason: While there is definitely things that are definitely good about Artstation, an "error happened while saving the project. Status: 500" issue occurs far too often.

The site is also not balanced between order and freedom, in other words, it disallows users from posting pornography on the site, and unlike DeviantArt where you can write journals and statuses, Artstation does not want you doing any of this, and can also be used when getting a pro status account, which is not really a bright idea.

At the very most, Artstation should have a sub-version of Artstation to have pornographic contents.

It truly helps me find creative art and other people who have the same art styles and i could connect

Review of Working with David Forth on Animated Short Film:

We hired David as a freelance animator/design artist to work on our short film. During the first few weeks, David did complete work, however, David's work was inconsistent in quality. Furthermore, David missed every agreed upon deadline/milestone and failed to effectively communicate why these milestones were being missed, besides citing that he had a busy academic schedule.

As David continued to complete less and less content, he also began submitting stock images as if they were his own work. We found this to be very unethical, and, when coupled with his inability to meet deadlines, we were left with no option but to terminate our contract with David. He has since ceased all communication with our production company, forcing us to take action in small
Claims court.

Based on our experiences and the information provided in the review above, we would not recommend hiring David for any freelance work.
