I purchased a flight with ASAP Tickets from the US to Africa; regrettably, my trip ended earlier than envisaged for an unforeseen personal reason. When I called to exchange my ticket, Agent Gates insisted that I buy another travel insurance, despite the fact that I had already paid over $754 when I bought my ticket, so why would I need another one since it was the same flight?
I unselected the travel insurance boxes and agreed to pay the airline's $2951. 90 exchange penalty fee, but he wouldn't process my exchanged ticket until I added this travel insurance service.
I argued and questioned him, "Why?" To get me to pay his desired price, he started changing the ticket and raising the exchanged penalties.
I hung up and called the customer service line immediately to dispute it and ask for another agent, but they informed me that Gates is the one responsible for my exchanged tickets (This was all set up).
Unfortunately, I ended up calling him back as I desperately needed this exchange to get back to the US. He then informed me that he had cancelled my reservation and that I would now have to pay $3406 for a new reservation that included mandatory travel insurance.
Gates played the wise by adding the travel insurance service fees on top of the airline penalties each time I contested the travel insurance. Additionally, he informed me that even though the price would be the same with or without the travel insurance service, if I don't add this insurance, I won't have any insurance for this flight which was a treat in order to force me to select the travel insurance box.
I wondered whether the agents receive a commission or other payment for persuading clients to use their travel insurance services.

In May 2022, I ordered tickets from Chicago-Zagreb-Chicago for one person, and for another person I ordered Zagreb-Chicago and paid $ 873.92 for the first person and $ 618.82 for the second person. With both tickets, I ordered the Premium option (paid over $ 250 for each).
Due to the Corona situation we could not travel, so I called 24 hours before and said I could not travel, and I wanted to cancel the tickets and get my money back. However the Agent told me that I had not arrived on time for the information (I mean the terminal? Or) and that he could not cancel the tickets, and I had to put on hold both tickets.
After a few weeks, I called and said to do a re-bucking and that I need extra tickets, one from St. Louis-Chicago-St Louis and the other from Chicago-St Louis, because on the way back I brought my 80-year-old mom.
The agent changed my Chicago-Zagreb-Chicago ticket and I had to pay another $ 1370. 75 which I had already paid a couple of weeks ago $ 873.92.
For the second person I also changed the Zagreb-Chicago ticket and I had to pay another $ 239.25 which I paid a couple of weeks ago $ 618.82.
The agent said that if I did not pay the already lose on my already purchased tickets, the tickets would fail, and I paid a premium package for all the tickets.
When we left Chicago for Istanbul, the plane was 2 hours late, we were late for Istanbul for the flight to Zagreb, because the Turkish Airplane was late, no one called from the agent to help us and we had to wait more than 12 hours at the airport until the next flight to Zagreb.
When we were returning to Chicago from Istanbul, again the plane was 3 hours late to Chicago. And again we failed the plane to St Louis, no one called us. When I called the Agent, she told me they didn't have a ticket but only two days to re-book.
Two days to sit two people at an airport in Chicago, one person 80 years old. And there is another option, if I pay an extra $ 130 per person they would make a ticket from another company.
Is it possible!
Service is for 0, not for one old.

I needed to cancel my ticket to Bulgaria. I call to ASAP and the first person I spoke to, redirected me to my agent Vasso *******0849. He asked for the confirmation number and transferred my call to 3rd person. The 3rd person asked me again for the confirmation number and told me that their cancellation team will call me very soon. Nobody called. All of those 3 people were absolutely useless. On the next day I called again. I got the explanation that their team is working on my ticket cancellation and they will call me back on the next day. ASAP needs 3 to 4 days to cancel a ticket. For other agencies takes 15 minutes maximum. Conclusion: ASAP people are disrespectful to their job, to themselves and to the customers. They do not have professional knowledge and skills to do the job in a timely manner. They are totally irresponsible to the customers. They need to work a lot on their professional skills and ethics. How this is possible? Is there in ASAP some employee who can cancel my ticket? Thanks!

ASAP TICKETS lacks a work ethic. ASAP TICKETS is quick in selling expensive tickets, but very slow in responding your inquiries, and reluctant in helping you when you need them the most. ASAP TICKETS often provide inaccurate information.
I purchased 3 tickets from ASAP TICKETS. The airline cancelled the flights and offered refund. Since I bought the tickets through ASAP TICKETS, airline asked me to get my refund through ASAP TICKETS. It is over a week I am trying to get my refund, but ASAP TICKETS is not responding.
After cancelling my return flight, I was very desperate to get back home in Canada from Manila, and tried to buy return tickets from ASAP TICKETS. This was my second experience with ASAP TICKETS. ASAP TICKETS travel agent first offered me 2900$/ticket (economy, one-way) and told me only 3 tickets are left. I did not accept the offer, and within a minute, the travel agent offered me the same tickets for 2000$/ticket. I feel they were trying to rip me off.
I strongly discourage you from working with ASAP TICKETS.
