Buyers beware!Bought two end tables.One of the end table finish coming of scratches.Have a 5 year warranty.The end tables are not even 2 years old.There refused to replace it.Had to file a Better business report on them.Ashley furniture will give you the run around.They have an excuse for everything.There furniture is junk and won't Honor warranty.Do not buy from them.They will ripe you off.

On February 10,2024, I bought two (2) Power Sofas with Adjustable Headrests (Item: *******) at the Ashley Homestore in Pasadena, Texas. I paid $3,224.21 total for both sofas plus delivery charge, protection plan, and tax on my credit card. Ashley's delivered the sofas to my home on 2/15/2024.
Unfortunately, the Leather material of these sofas has failed. After only 6 months (August 2024), I noticed the Leather peeling. I called your store and the Extend warranty company on August 10,2024, and after 2-1/2 weeks I received an email stating that the couch was still under the manufacturer's warranty and my claim was closed. On August 23,2024, I called Ashley's customer service and through an online chat they offered me a $167 Ashley's gift card. I declined that offer and they then offered to repair the sofa. I accepted that offer. Before any repair appointment was set up, I was notified by email on August 24,2024, that I had no warrantable concerns present and my claim was closed, noting that the failure is a Manufacturing of fake leather. I made one more call to Ashley's on August 25,2024, and was told that normal wear and tear is not covered. This is not normal wear and tear! You offer a one-year warranty on all manufacturing issues. Material is supposed to last for years, not months! When I questioned that answer, you had me send more photos, but then ghosted me. I continually ask a rep to email me and let me know how they plan to rectify this situation. Ashley's needs to come pick up there Low Quality furniture and refund my full cost!

Tip for consumers:
We bought the extended warranty which has proven to be worthless. Both the extended warranty and the 1-year manufacturer's warranty are not able to be used because Ashley claims that the material peeling within 6 months is normal wear and tear! Ridiculous!

We bought 2 sofas and use both sofas. Very low quailty. Material started peeling wihtin 6 months of purchase.

Our delivery professionals James and Rich were excellent at their jobs. They worked quickly and precise. Our furniture was handled carefully and placed exactly where we wanted it. These two gentleman are true assets to your company.

I cancelled an order on January 9th and was told I would receive a refund within 5-10 business days. After 10 business days passed I called and was told that the only way they could communicate with the refund department is to file a ticket by email and they would need 48 hours to get an answer. After 48 hours I called and was told they needed 48 business hours, or a week and a day. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager (Armando) told me they needed 72 hours to get an answer but he wasn't sure. The customer service with this company is horrible. No one over the phone or chat could look into a simple refund issue without significant run around. I've spent hours on chat pursuing this because most of the time I call the customer service number my call gets dumped because my order # is no longer valid. Its very frustrating that they setup their customer service to make it as difficult as possible to provide any customer service.

I ordered a recliner for my elderly mother with dementia to be delivered to the retirement home where she currently resides. The customer service rep did not ask any questions about delivery, only that a delivery window would be available in a few days but needed to place the order to get that DAY secured. They do not mention the window of time, nor do they ask if there are any time restrictions you may have. Obviously, if you need something delivered to community where vulnerable elderly people are living there needs to be employees there to let you in. Our delivery arrived at 7:45am, with a driver who did not speak English and was not able to communicate, so he hung up on me. They left and took the recliner with no confirmation to return later when the community was open. When I called back to re-schedule, they gave me another date 8 days out. They would not prioritize my mother's delivery. Instead they doubled down and told me it's my fault for not explaining the delivery time needs. They also lie about re-scheduling so far out because the main objective is to make as many deliveries as possible based on the location of the warehouse start point. This retirement home is closest to that warehouse, therefore it is an inconvenience for them to deliver there during a reasonable timeframe. They discriminate against the elderly by pushing out the delivery and prioritize other orders that are more efficient to deliver. I paid extra for delivery as well, white glove service. I had no other choice but to contact another vendor who was more than happy to help my mom and deliver a recliner the following day. My mother is also losing 10% of the refund as they claim that's their charge to cancel the order. They realize we had to cancel, but have zero integrity and would not refund the total cost. Instead, the 10% is kept by this company as a credit on my mothers account. I want nothing to do with them in the future. Why would I buy from a company that is so difficult to work with? They are effectively stealing from my elderly mother. Terrible management at every level. The customer service supervisor is complacent and unapologetic.

Worst experience ever! Purchased dining room set in Feb 2022. Finally delivered Nov 2022.Furniture was damaged (9 of 10 pieces).Went thru 4 table tops. All 4 were damaged. Even dropped in front of my eyes at delivery. Dealt with customer service from Nov 2022 thru today. HORRIBLE customer service trying to get this resolved. They never return calls. They always pass the buck and delay every process. I have a file at least an inch thick. I have spent over 80 hours of my time trying to get my issues resolved. They finally agreed to a refund but only of the product. So I will be out more money. Not getting my deposit back which they claim they don't return service or delivery fees. Complete hogwash! This company is the worst ever!

Giving 1 star because I can't give 0.

I spent 700+ on 4 dining room chairs, within 3 months the foam on the seats formed weird crater like indents. I'm single, don't wear jeans or items in my back pockets. This is 110% manufacturing defect, bad defective material and over 4 "specialists" at Ashley say no warranty, cosmetic defects? No! Lies! Bad company! Crappy overpriced products, this was their signature line, made in Vietnam, junk, I'll never ever shop here again and highly recommend you don't either!

Junk furniture, don’t honor warranty, lie and call everything cosmetic, not covered. RUBBISH ITS JUNK!

Product I ordered for my kids upholstered beds where to small. Been fighting for a return for over a week now with still no outcome! Money wasted for sure! Will never shop Ashley furniture again! They will not take your calls at any store just force you to continue to speak to people who barely understand what you're asking for! Zero stars should be an option!

Don’t shop there because they don’t stand behind there return policy

I went shopping at Ashley store great service. Then less then 6 months later my mattress started to sink. They will not replace it. Nice at first then when a quality problem arise they say we cannot help you I will never shop there again. No one cares about my back the mattress is sinking more each day

Shame on me I guess. Ordered a sectional last year from Ashley and it arrived damaged. After repair guys coming twice we decided to just live with it. I must have a shirt memory because I just ordered a dresser for my granddaughter and it came in a smashed box with substantial damage. I called their customer service number and was on forever hold so tried the "message us" feature. After being shuffled to 3 agents they explained I needed to email another person. So frustrating and I won't buy from them ever again. Buyer beware.

Furniture showed up damaged. Every single piece. Bed was tapped with a split across the head board. Delivery men put all the pieces together knowing it was damaged. Poor Customer Service when trying to report a problem. They will also pick up and then hang up! Worst experience ever. Don't buy from them they are a Fraud!

Bought a dining table set a year ago and wish I had first read reviews for ashleys online. I would never have bought from there as all reviews I read here are accurate. The furniture is of poor quality and their customer service especially after you purchase is horrible. They convinced me to get a protection plan for scratches and stain Mark's but failed to mention that you need to pay almost 100 usd for delivery of replacement and another 100 to renew protection plan for the new piece. Please take my advise and take your money to other stores. Extremely disappointing

The furniture is really poor quality. The dining chairs had to be returned because they had defects...the table chipped. The wood is not solid..practically sawdust inside. Their 99 usd protection policy is a scam...you will end up paying more money for very low quality furniture. Take your money elsewhere

I ordered an online clearance item three times only to be told it was out of stock but the online store allowed you to keep ordering it. Ashley took money out of my account and returned it but took it out. They told me they had it at the store but it was 5 times the online clearance price. It appears Ashley is advertising clearance items that are not in stock cancelling your order and when you complain they tell you to pick another item which of course is not on clearance. Very unethical advertising. Customer service is absolutely useless. They just tell you Ashley's party line. Buyer beware. Don't trust this company. If I could give no stars I would.

Their customer service are the worst ever it can be. Tricked me and have me sign cheap furniture for expensive price. So disappoint at them. The sales persons in bay plaza are tricky and robbed me to get their commission. Never I will go Ashley furniture and let all my friends and family know what they did.

I placed an order for a bedroom set in February. Spent $8,000 at the store. They told me it would be a month before I get my set. I'm ok with that, knowing supply chain is bad right now. March came and went, tried getting any sort of customer service-no luck. Called the only 800 number I could find. I was holding for 45 min, then disconnected. I did the messaging back and forth. Was told that now I needed to wait until may. Ok. May came and went. I'm frustrated now. Again called the 800 number waited on hold for a while. Got through to someone, then was disconnected on the middle of the conversation. I went through the messaging app. Again. Found out I need to wait until June. Well it is now July 4. I was on hold for over an hour, while driving…. Was disconnected, again. I still don't have a bedroom set and no customer service. I would NEVER shop here again. I wish I would have cancelled my order long ago. If anyone knows a trick on getting someone on the phone, please share!

I ordered a bedroom set, had it delivered last August 2023, bed collapsed, 4 deliveries for dresser and numerous other problems with the furniture set. Finally after 4 months, they agreed to give me a new bed in Dec. 2023. Next week, they came out to replace my sunken mattress and the delivery team snagged my new headboard. 4 deliveries later, including today 2/14/24, still another damaged headboard. Now we have to schedule another service call, which is approximately the 23rd service call. Poor quality, terrible customer service and the worst delivery teams. VERY UNHAPPY AND WOULD NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. Potential CUSTOMER'S BEWARE!

I bought a living room with a cleaning warranty that they promised me I could use whenever I wanted, and the only time I called to ask for it to be cleaned (last July 10 with reference number: *******) they sent someone to the house but they didn't do the job because he said he had to come back later. He never returned and a while ago when I went to the store to complain I spoke with a Manager named Shawn himself who told me he would help me solve it but he never returned my call or answered me. Now time has passed, the warranty has expired and they never provided the service. Really, don't be fooled, don't pay for that service since they don't comply. Ruben Estevez

Don't purchase anything from Ashley Home Store the quality of the furniture is cheap but the prices are high. Poor customer service salespeople aren't award of the products. I wanted a firm sectional I was told it would be great after 2-3 weeks I have a flat bounce sectional that can be showcased inside urban air for the kids to play with. Learn from me go somewhere else.

When we purchased furniture from Ashley last December we were told there was a 5'years interest deal ending that day. So we decided to go ahead and purchase the furniture intent on paying it over 2 years. It turned out to be 6 months interest free if paid in full. We noticed this on the invoice and asked a manager who looked into it and told us it would be taken care of. Of course it was not. The interest free deal ended in July and unfortunately we saw it this month more than 30 days after the expiration of then deal.
There is no reason to resort to this kind of tactics if you are a reputable business. Obviously Ashley is not and should not be trusted.

In short - our sectional was never delivered when promised (even though their website and my confirmation emails and their customer service chat said it would be yesterday). When we reached out, they said it's scheduled delivery for January! We were never notified of any changes, and their website still reflected our expected delivery date. We had just gotten rid of our old furniture, so now we have an empty living room. They moved us up to the end of the month now, but we still have two weeks to go with no couch. It took a half hour phone call just for them to admit they screwed up - and they did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation aside from offering to cancel the order if we found something at our local store - which we did not. They didn't seem to care about their screw up at all. Do yourself a favor and NEVER order anything from Ashley. Horrible screw up and nobody honestly seems to care - their service is terrible.

I ordered a couch from Ashley furniture in Bend, OR. The couch took 9 or 10 weeks to arrive. Upon arrival I noticed our sales Rep. Mark Harvey had ordered the wrong orientation. I now have to wait an additional 8-11 weeks (or more) to receive the couch I ordered. When this information was brought to Mark's attention he was very concerned that I keep the couch covered so they can re-sell it. I will never do business with this company again!

I purchased a mattress and 1 yr in it was completely sagging and hurting my hips and lower back. I followed their warranty process starting in February and here it is at the end of July and 3 no show appointments later, so I writer into the CEO and get a response of they will give me credit for what I paid for the mattress towards another. Problem is they carry 10 choices, half low end and the other half high end. So basically if doomed either way. If I get a low budget I get what I pay for and have the same thing happen or I pay thousands out of my pocket. This has been a complete and utter disappointment. They even told me to dispute the credit card charge because they didn't want to deal with it. So Im out my money and a mattress. Never do business here again.

Ashley is a great place to get stuff from if you get the good stuff. I paid 2100 for a table that was terrible called they did come back and get it and 3 weeks later gave it back the scratches were gone but the other flaws showed so much more and they refuse to give a new top for it. The online help messed up had to order the other part of my order again got charged another delivery fee even though they brought everything in 1 delivery and they refuse to give me that money back.

I was so excited to order more stuff and sad this has happened cause now i cant trust them. Everyone who i talked to understood and had to go through higher up and nothing never happens.

They lied and said I would have my furniture delivered a month ago. Be prepared to wait. The salesman added "insurance" and a pillow and didn't disclose the extra costs. It was all about the sale and I would absolutely not recommend them, especially if you actually want your furniture in a reasonable time.

I recently purchased a home in the Dunedin/Clearwater area. I was fortunate enough to get Molly Quinn as my sales associate. She was thorough and took her time to find exactly what I was looking for in furniture. She went above and beyond to help me complete my orders and was So good at establishing a relationship with me- not just trying to sell. I highly recommend the Clearwater Store on #19. Ask for Molly!
