April sales associate: Customer service/ Smile/ made my experience exciting. My shopping experience at other retail stores was not good but she made my day.
Buyers beware!Bought two end tables. One of the end table finish coming of scratches.Have a 5 year warranty. The end tables are not even 2 years old. There refused to replace it.Had to file a Better business report on them.Ashley furniture will give you the run around. They have an excuse for everything. There furniture is junk and won't Honor warranty.Do not buy from them. They will ripe you off.
This was the first and the last time I bought something from Ashley. We chose 2 bedside tables and decided to pick them up in the store. My husband brought them home today.
He didn't open the boxes at the store and didn't check if everything was in order.
They gave him a paper to sign that says: "I understand that it is my sole responsibility to open and inspect merchandise to ensure that it is in satisfactory condition Prior loading it on my vehicle…." My husband just signed the paper. His English is limited and he is very busy with his work.
Do you know any other stores who would give you such notes to sign? I don't…
When we installed the bedside table, one of the drawers was cracked. I called the store located 487 E Moorestown Rd, in Wind Gap, PA *******.
I asked what can be done because of the cracked drawer. It cost me $248 each. The nice lady immediately re- read the same instructions and said "it could be cracked during the transportation… you are responsible now because you signed Pickup Bill of Lading". What a scam!
Ashley - Not reliable or responsible for their merchandise.
Pay attention AND READ what you sign.
Make sure you take your time to open the boxes and check every single details before you sign there created "ASHLEY HOMESORE – PICKUP BILL OF LADING".
The products are expensive but very poor quality.
Garbage expensive furniture and it's garbage squatches nicks and I live alone. Garbage furniture. Do not buy ashley furniture it's garbage it looks pretty but it's garbage
Looking for an L-shape desk, located one at Ashley's home store. My husband suggested I look further in other furniture stores. However I went ahead and purchased the desk.
Let's say it's been a nightmare. Picked the first desk, it was broken. Set-up a request to exchange. Second desk was also broken, was not able to exchanged. Needed to place a service call for them to send someone to fix or approve a replacement. Kept calling to have it set-up someone in customer service kept canceling the order. The issue was going on for two months. Called again sent pictures to customer service three times. Called the store to get management to help us get a replacement. Finally we got a time and day to have it replaced, unfortunately they brought the wrong piece they rescheduled again, once again the brought the wrong piece. Around three, once again scheduled another delivery, again they brought the wrong piece. Fourth time this Wednesday, 3/28, and again they brought the wrong piece. They have been to my house 5 times and every time the wrong piece is being delivered.
Just received a confirmation for Tuesday, 4/4, received a text that we were all set, got another text and email to select another time and day. It's been months that I have a broken desk.
Customer service is horrible and their furniture is cheap and poor quality.
I WILL NEVER BUY OF RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY FROM ASHLEY'S FURNITURE.
STAY AWAY!
Tip for consumers:
Don’t buy any furniture or decor from Ashley’s furniture. My experience has been horrible and still going.

We all know this is a different time (COVID). We went to the store on the beginning of August to get a sofa (Greenville, SC). We got a seller which mentioned a few times that the sofa might come before September 24, but it is not promised. However, he did not think about telling us that it might delay. We waited until the September 22 to know when the couch will come. This is when it all began, the delay the couch in 4 weeks (due to the COVID-19). Later, again in 2 weeks. Then they delay in a month, and then again in a month! It has been over than 3-month delay. The worst part is that they never gave us a proper answer. Every time somehow when we call, they do not know nothing. I would expect from a big company to know what they do; they clearly do not know. They have NO communication with the factory to know if the sofa is in some process. In addition to this, they might know that there is some manufacture problem, but they do not want us to cancel the couch, so they delay us for over than 3 months. At this point, I understood that you cannot trust them. They will do anything to sell but nothing for the costumer. I would recommend thinking a few times before buying there. They promise one thing and do whatever they want for their own profit.
About two years ago, I purchased a couch/love seat set at a cost of over $2,000.00. Within two months, the seat between the two recliners had sunken so badly my back was resting on the frame. I contacted Ashley and they sent a repairman who replaced the almost non-existent cushions. Within three months, I again was lying directly on the wood frame.
I wish I would have read the numerous complaints about Ashley Made Furniture Before Buying This Couch and Love Seat. Love Seat. HA! I HATE this seat. I now have serious back problems and require pain relief injections every three to four months. I would give the couch away, but I would only give this couch to my worst enemy. I am laying on the floor (which is more comfortable) until I can find a couch that is well made and will last more than two months.
The couch I had before was a Lane and had a friend of mine hadn't burned it with cigarettes, I would still have it as it was as comfortable eighteen years later as it was the day I purchased it. Unfortunately, Lane is no longer in business.
BTW: My dogs won't even lay on this couch.
Why does it take so long to have repairs done to my recliner?
Ashley's furniture is not the place to get new furniture.
Ashley's departments don't streamline together.
First, is the walk-in and deal with salesperson.
Second, the sale is made and people at the store has your money. They don't deal with you anymore. I paid extra for the warranty too.
Third, you think you are calling the store's number and you get somewhere else.
I got my chair in Dec 2023. It would take the following year to get repairs. Luckily, I had figured out how to fix the first thing that went wrong.
Found it weird that the Ashley store needed to ship repair parts to my apartment before the repairmen would arrive at my apartment.
Now I got this big weighty box of whatever, I haven't open yet in the livingroom.
Dec 18, I noticed my chair had another problem, something I definitely needed help fixing.
I called and got a friendly voice. They had me send pictures via text messages and a work order was made.
Jan 7, I am wondering when will the repairers make their way to my place to fix my chair.
I got the corporate office this time, same number dialed. I was informed that the first work order was not entered correctly. New work order was filed with another later date of them getting here to fix my chair.
At the same time of THIS, I'm getting texted the SAME protocol. What the heCK?
The customer is supposed to confirm that a solution is in the works and I am not able to confirm. The same protocol comes up: "Hi you need help" "Let us help you" "Send pictures via text". AGAIN RIDICULOUS.
How do you not have my furniture's serial number in YOUR records? Why do I have to flip my chair over to find the serial number to give to you? Ridiculous.
I am tired of taking and sending pictures. FIX my chair.
Tip for consumers:
They use Sychrony Bank. That is how they don't have to deal with customers after the sale.
I have been waiting for over a month for my furniture. I was promised delivery on September 2nd and I took the day off work to be there. No one contacted me or showed up. I lost money from not going to work. I logged into my account and it clearly said delivery on the 2nd. After a long time of searching I could not find a way to contact them other than the chatbot. I had to go through a long process with the bot in order to get a phone number to talk to a person. After calling I found out that it would be another 2 weeks before they could deliver. I was promised a credit but never received it - no one ever called me back. I called again on the 3rd (online it still said my delivery date was the 2nd) and chose the option for someone to call be back. I waited 3 hours but no one ever called. I called again and they were closed. After chatting again, someone is supposed to call me back about my new delivery date and the credit. I am not going to hold my breath - I'm sure they will not ever call me.
Tip for consumers:
Buy from the store and not online. If you buy online you are left in the weeds. No one cares if you get your order or not.
I have been trying to order a reclining love seat for my daughter for four days, FOUR days I called the store in Tulsa which is not in Tulsa it is in Broken Arrow, however in order to reach that store where ever it is you have to call the Oklahoma city store in order to be transferred to Tulsa or broken Arrow where ever it maybe. Anyway the store has no furniture according to Steve, so he said that he would have to call someone eight miles away to see if they even had the item I was looking for an $800.00 + item and that he would call me back. Well after four days silly me I gave up and tried to make the purchase at another store and oh surprise that store hung up on me ( oh joy). So I tried the number listed as Corp to find out that it was the line to order online, long story short when I was finishing up my order and tried to pay for with my store credit card of course that would not work either and so Ashley called the credit card supporters, that of course connected us to a lady that had trouble with english who ended up placing me on a brief 1/2 minute hold that lasted well over five minutes and ended with a man asking me can I help you sir? All in all I could not ever refer anyone to Ashley unless of course they had an entire week with which to make a purchase or there was money in it for me!

4 years ago we bought a 6 peice dining table set with a 5 year warinty. It was the most expensive set in the whole store at the time and has done nothing but disappoint. While reading this please keep in mind that this table is not an everyday use peice of furniture. We use it about once a month on special occasions. I will admit it does look appealing but that does not cover for the fact that in the first few days we have already had to contact the store about the chairs and the result of that was us having to get things to fix it with our own money. Not long after that the polishing on the table has started to completely come off. The lamination on the sides and on the bottom started separating. In the middle the table is able to be extended, but the mechanism in it has broken after our second time exending it. All the chairs except one sink in way too much and are very squeaky. 4 weeks ago I have contacted customer support and ever since have just been fighting about every issue I just listed. I do not understand why I have to keep fighting with Ashley about things I do have a warenty for. I want people to read this and take in mind everything I just said. I will NEVER recommend Ashley to anyone I know. We have way better furniture from cheaper and way higher quality places with

I have spent the last 3 weeks fighting with Ashley Furniture customer service about a chair I purchased online in the store. Once your furniture is delivered, Ashley Furniture washes their hands and your on your own. Ashleyis the worst company I have ever done business with. When the chair was delivered I was not given the chance to sit in it, which is the policy. You can keep it or refuse it. The delivery men left before I had time to refuse it.
I do not like the chair so I went back to the store and told the manager what happened when the chair was delivered. The manager told me that I could return the chair and get another one.
She did the transaction and then I never heard from her again. When I called the store, I was told that the manager couldn't help me and I would have to call customer.
I have called customer service everyday for 3 weeks and have been told a different story every time. The last rep told me that a technician would have to come look at the chair. The chair is not broken. The problem is that I was not given the chance to keep it or refuse it.
The rep I spoke to today said Ashley has a no return policy and there was nothing they could do to help. That is the first true statement I have been told.
This has been a nightmare. I have been lied to over and over. I cannot believe that a big store like Ashley has no one available to help with a problem like mine.
It was NOT my fault the delivery men left before I sat in the chair. So who is responsible?
Tip for consumers:
I suggest you do not do business with Ashley Furniture
If I could give ZERO, I would! I thought I was dealing with a reputable company. I thought I was dealing with people who care about your shopping experience, but it's all fluff! Over the years I've spent thousands of dollars on furniture with Ashley and the one time I have a return, I'm getting nothing but excuses why I CAN'T have a return shipping label, from policy to they can't find my invoice. There are no professionals there, they lack qualified customer service, I've been arguing and going back n forth for days with some of the most juvenile people, no kidding all saying NO, NO, MO, NO, NO! What happened to YES, no problem, week be more than happy you work with you under these circumstances Rather than just accommodate me, this is what they prefer, As a Customer Service Manager, I should've asked for a manager and I regret that, but I also know exceptions are made everyday! They want me to lug this heavy box, never opened, glass, 24 lbs on public transportation, pay half of what it cost or more, to ship to Kansas. Hmmm, once someone show you their true self, BELIEVE THEM! Ashley you just lost a valued customer!

Shipping returns are the problem. They don't provide you with a return shipping label, don't have a car, have no way to handle 24 lbs of glass on public transportation and they simply don't care!
This is the worst furniture company I have ever dealt with. They are scam artists I bought a loveseat and a bed over 5000 total when I was told it would be under a 1000 but when they rang it up and processed it they refused to cancel the sale. When the furniture was delivered it had a mouse either I. The couch or bed drawers. And now less than a month my couch arm stuffing is falling out the zipper is broken and they refuse to replace it. Bytheville Ashley's has horrible management and a swindler of a salesman named Paul he is a smooth talker a liar and takes advantage of women who come in there. NEVER GO TO THIS FURNITURE COMPNAY ANYWHERE THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU OR REPLACE YOUR BRAND NEW FURNITURE oh don't try to upload pictures it won't let you

NEVER GO TO ASHLEYS HORRIBLE PEOPLE AND FURNITURE QUALITY

I am not one to write a negative review, therefore, know that this was a terrible experience. On the rare occasion that I have a problem with service, it has always been handled by a simple phone call. My furniture was ordered on line. The first two pieces arrived without my knowledge of pending arrival. One of the pieces had a smashed in bottom shelf. I contacted customer service, explained the situation and her reply was to offer a discount. The fact that she immediately replied in this manner led me to believe that this is a common occurrence. I did as I was instructed and emailed the damage to her. No reply, and no discount. A few days later, a dining table was scheduled for delivery and set up. The drivers on the enterprise rental truck brought my table top wrapped in a blanket and placed it face down on my floor, they then brought the boxes in containing the legs and as I was standing at the door waiting for them to come back to assemble, they drove off. The table was too heavy for me to put in an upright position after I managed to assemble the legs, so I had a neighbor help me who was astonished at what had not been done after I paid a delivery and set up fee. Follow up phone calls regarding my issues are met with completely disinterested customer service representatives, in fact, the last one I spoke to about the damage done to an earlier delivery spent time on the phone with me speaking to other employees and a few times even yawned. I have no expectation that my concerns will be addressed, and have to say in all my years of purchasing services, this is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. It is run like a circus. Please dont spend your hard earned money here. You will be sorry.
Mattress comfy but cooling technology is a joke
Deliveries didn't go well but they made it right after I disputed on credit card charge
Honestly I had been a life long customer until now. Had to return two items, One month, still no refund just keep dancing me around.

I wish I read the reviews before I ordered. I ordered a nightstand and matching bureau. The nightstand said it would be delivered via FedEx, ups, one of those. It also said assembly required. I chose to chat with a rep to ask why and she said it world come assembled except for the usb hookups on the back of it. Well, it came with the shelf pushing through to the back of the board that was previously stapled on, plus, I had to install the handle on it. Ridiculous. Then, I got 1 email saying it world come on the 24th. Didn't get another email until the day before saying it was coming between certain times. I asked for it to be brought up into the hallway in front of the bedroom so we could put it in later after we finished moving other things out. They didn't offer any protection for the bottom so we could slide it into the room without a problem. My son tried moving it and it scratched up my floor. I had ordered a nightstand and matching bureau through Jordan's furniture for my daughter's room and the service was great! They had both things put together and delivered them at the same time, then, it was 7am and my daughter wasn't up for school yet, so I asked if they could put it in the upstairs hall, they said no problem. They even put protection on the bottom so when we were ready to slide it into the room, no scratches on my floor. I'll stick to Jordan's until Ashley updates their quality of service. So disappointed, i wish I never gave my son the option and just stayed with Jordan's. Completely unacceptable!
I spent close $20,000 in furniture my dresser draw is still BROKEN the techs came twice never again will I buy anything from Ashley furniture definitely horrible service all around.
The delivery guys knocked off an antique clock given to me by my grandparents 47 years ago without even an apology.
My shelf is a year old and falling apart. Because my warranty ran out 3 wks ago they will not honor it.i will NEVER buy anything from them again.
Guys, this company is literally scamming me…. I bought a couch on January 21st on the Venice location and I had the 7th of February as a delivery date and they never delivered it because they put my order in a financial hold.
That financial hold comes from another purchase ( a table 2 chairs and a bench) I did on another Ashley location (Broadway) and they decided to charge me for 2 tables instead of one. I ONIY GOT ONE TABLE. Then someone from the Broadway location went into the system and took money from one invoice to another to cover whatever mistake they did and I am paying the price. I PAID MY COUCH IN FULL WHY CANT I GET MY PRODUCT?
I HAVE BEEN CALLING AND WALKING IN STORE FOR almost 3 weeks to solve this issue BECAUSE I LIVE THE COUCH AND I WANTE IT BUT no one is helping me… I had to call my bank and dispute the charge
NEVER BUY FROM THIS BUISNESS
I wouldn't buy your furniture here unless you're prepared to wait the better part of a year for it to be delivered. They sell items they don't have in stock, then will give you a delivery date that will change multiple times with the lamest of explanations. The rating should be ZERO STARS. Ashley is the absolute worst, particularly the Burbank, CA store at 401 N. 1st Street. Furniture that was ordered on July 15th has still not arrived three months later, and we're being told it will be more than another month before it's delivered. They blame it on covid, yet their delivery people come in without masks, so it mustn't be that much of a concern for them. And even so, it should not take four to five months to get furniture that has already been paid for in full. The sales associate at this store, Thomas, is woefully inefficient and ducks customers after the sale has been made. Management and customer service are inept and apathetic, and good luck trying to get through to customer service on the phone. They way they conduct business is a travesty.
Alice is the absolute best salesperson at Ashley's Furniture! She patient and kind and always know what I'm looking for!
Terrible quality. Rude, annoying workers. Trained to avoid accountability and not interested in helping with issues and there are many.
