Recliner order mid Oct, delivery date in early Nov. Expecting delivery & no show. Called said they tried to deliver no one answered to confirm, which is not true. Resulted chair could not be used by elderly person, too dangerous. We called to return, ordered another one more safe for elderly. We were told it would take up to late December to get the chair delivered, it was coming from OVERSEAS! This was done all online! Chair "might" be delivered late Nov if not maybe mid December. We needed to cancel purchase but it too late my niece had already made the transaction. We should of gone to Jerome's or Living Spaces. DO NOT ORDER FROM ASHELY FURNITURE! I sold my house my deceased husband built after living there for 65 years. This was a very emotional process.
On Sept. 6,2020 my daughter helped me shop for new furniture for my new apartment.
I placed an order with Ashley Furniture in Lancaster, PA for a sofa and 2 kitchen bar stools and paid in full $1346. 20 including delivery on my VISA card.
I was promised delivery by Nov. 6,2020 when I planned to move into my new apartment.
My daughter called on Nov. 6th, and was told delivery was delayed until Jan. 19th for the stools; Feb. 6,2021 for the sofa, and they would keep updated every two weeks via email on status.
No updates ever received and called numerous times to get updates.
Called on Jan. 13,2021 for update and told delivery date now March 20,2021.
Called the store today, Jan. 14,2021 and told I need to come into the store in person to cancel and process the refund. Given my age (88), health issues, and COVID situation I'm unwilling to do this.
So I submitted a request for refund though the Ashley Furniture Customer Facebook Group and informed my Credit card company to dispute this charge.

Avoid it at all costs! Although I wish I had known this sooner, at least I can advise you not to even think about them.
I made a purchase back in July, and the latest delivery date given was September 21st (probably sooner, they said). On Sep. 20th, no one had called me yet to confirm the delivery. I called them and was told the delivery has been moved to the end of October or the beginning of November...
Calling them to inquire is the only way to find out. They couldn't care less about the customer, not even to let us know in advance with a quick call or email.
The options were to cancel the order or find something else. By canceling the order, you'd be stuck with no sofa until this date for no reason. Getting something else means trusting them to get the "other option" delivered on the date it was promised.
But that's not the end. They've made another promise. The manager would call me the next day to see if there was anything they could do. It's been 2 weeks already...
They don't deserve your time and money (btw, all payments have been made on time since the purchase).

I ordered a sectional online through the Ashley website. I didn't know it was different than going into a store in terms of dealing with problems and issues. I paid extra 250 for delivery AND Assembly. And of course, the furniture doesn't fit into the house. Which I knew it would need to be disassembled, and then re assembled- it's a large sectional! Which was why I paid extra for it. I had to send it back bc it got damaged trying to put the couch in the house. Calling customer service was a nightmare. They kept asking if I wanted to know the status of my delivery- obv I know the status. Then they asked if I wanted a refund, I told them no I want the couch. They refunded the cost of the couch but not the extra 250. I called the store and they were able to fill me in- basically don't buy online! They don't do assembly even though it says they do and now I'm being charged for the delivery even though it's damaged and I can't take it. Absolute nightmare dealing with this place! If customer service could address it that would be fine but, nope. That's not a thing at Ashley.

Delivery dates are completely abitrary. Customer service is TERRIBLE! Still have not received my order. Will never order from Ashley Furniture again.
I placed an order for a bedroom set and chose a delivery date. The confirmation email stated that my delivery was successfully scheduled. However, I did not receive any shipping or tracking information regarding my delivery and it did not arrive on the scheduled date. I contacted customer service, was repeated transferred to different people and departments. After speaking with the 5th rep, who tried to transfer me back to the 3rd person I had spoken to, I was informed that my items are on back order and won't be estimated to arrive in the warehouse until a week after my original scheduled delivery date. That means that when I placed my order, the items were never even in stock and I received no information to that effect.
To sum up, we will not be ordering from Ashley Furniture again. There is no guarantee that what you purchase is even in stock or that it will arrive on your selected delivery date. Customer service is unable to provide accurate information regarding your delivery. You will not be informed of any delays or back orders in shipping, so your only option is to wait and wait and wait… Who knows when I will actually get my furniture that my husband and I took off work to receive and assemble? Keeping my fingers crossed that my furniture will show up before the lease on my new apartment is over. WORST!

My husband and I recently purchased furniture from Ashley home store online. We've gone thru two sets of nightstands damaged in transit.
We as well have had furniture delivered via Ashley delivery team, that once I was able to examine is either damages as well, defective or terrible quality like unfinished wood portions, huge gaps that someone tried to touch up with a woof pen thinking we wouldn't see and or to fill with some sort of brown wax, thinking we're stupid and wouldn't notice the huge gap.
I spent almost 4 hours after delivery on Monday calling customer service and speaking to a half dozen or more individuals.
The last person Jay Lathe whom I spoke with was suppose to put in for a new bed to be sent to me as well as a return for the dresser, I was told I was "top priority" for him and he would personally call me back within 24 hours. It is now 72 hours later and I've had no call and no response back to my email touching base with regards to this situation.
I will now being to to the department of agriculture for consumers affairs as well due to this gross negligence in customer service and product quality.
I as the consumers am being taken advantage of. We have spent over 4K dollars, as well as we bought a dining table from them almost 6 months ago for around 1800$. We have spent a lot of money with this company.

They came into complex abput 815 i saw them driving arpund i heard them stopping heard brakes no pne called me as i waited then a man called that drivers cant find me. I said dorhet it its dark now. Just got a call (9.16AM) from Ashley distribution that they were getting ready to load my order. Was told yesterday that the delivery would definitely be today between 8 and 9 AM. Additionally, the person that called asked me to VERIFY WHAT I ORDERED.
This is by far the WORSE store that I have ever has the total displeasure of dealing with and the VERY last time I will ever enter this disaster of a store.

The last thing this store cares about is the satisfaction of its customers. The stores will not accept any returns purchased online. And you must absorb the cost of the shipping. It is ridiculous.
So me and my husband bought a new house around November around about late November we thought it'd be a good idea to go check out Ashley Furniture store so we went to the store and we seen as couch that we like and the table my couch got here pretty fast it came around the beginning of December my table I didn't get it around the end of December when they first delivered my couch I had a a broken piece they still haven't came out to fix that yet when they deliver my table it had a crack piece on it they exchanged it for a different table which really didn't make a difference and now my chairs are cracking they charge for that table about $2,000 or 2500 my couch I paid 3000 there Furniture is not even worth 500 I got beat and cheated Ashley Furniture should be a shame that they self

I bought a chair a few years ago I bought warranty with it The warranty still good I tried calling in because the chair is completely coming apart the back wobbly the leg rest does not come out so I have no foot rest and it's creaky sounding I put in for the warranty and they go we need a bunch of pictures waste my time for 2 weeks and then tell me it's denied because I noticed The product was broken a month or two before so they denied it I am beyond pissed I will never ever shop at Ashley because they sell this awful fraud warranty company platinum warranty. They are a SCAM!
Ashley Furniture is the worst Company. This company should be closed by this time because I hear a lot of people had bad experience Also I have a bad experience too. When I enter the store They were welcome And treat me nicely. I bought the bed they told me I can get the delivery after one month but my stuff came after four months they didn't deliver all my stuff at the same time. When the delivery was the first time they bring me the wrong bed and I return it end then when other days they bring me my bed, but it was t half of a part. I wasn't able to use it that bad until the complaint so it took me another month. The company always calls me and they told me they will bring my stuff by this day but they never keep the delivery time and date they always change your mind and a liar you about the delivery. I tried to talk to a manager the manager told me she don't have any way to help me I am still waiting for myself it took me almost 6 months I am upset with this Company. In my opinion, anyone who wants to buy stuff from Ashley furniture needs to be careful also Dont believes what they say the first day in the store. It's is very hard trust them they are such a liar and a working unprofessional. Even if they don't have good material, their Customer Service is zero they never keep their promise! We bought the airdon 3 piece coffee table set from Ashley's in December. When we picked up the set there was alot of unfixable damage, example, the coffee table top did not match the holes on the base. Therefore you can't even assemble it. Legs scratched and dented, stain on one of the end table tops. Flaking of the table top sides. We had a technician come take a look and see what he could fix, he said it had to be replaced. That was February 9,2022 it is now July 11,2022 I've been calling monthly as to where my replacement pieces are and everytime I call, they tell me they don't know and that I have to wait another 4 weeks. I've tried to get my money back but guest care tells me I can't do that until the replacement pieces come in. They tell me they're going to keep me updated and call me at the end of the 4 week wait, but they never do. I have to constantly call them and ask about where my replacement pieces are. Only to be told that they don't know, and they're going to re order my pieces, please allow for another 4 weeks until they get delivered to you. It's a never ending cycle, at this point, I don't think I'll ever get the pieces. Don't waste your money and get caught in the same terrible cycle my wife and I find ourselves in. Pretty much threw 500 bucks down the drain..
I bought a new bedroom set from the Ashley Outlet in Killeen TX. ReGina Walker was and is the nicest and out going to help us and get the best price! She had a great personality and was very helpful.
Ashley Furniture is HORRIBLE... online customer service is pathetic. The merchandise was missing parts and the phone rep argued with me then finally agreed to sent parts. The next day i get an email that they were mistaken, that the parts are not included! So they want to offer me a 10% discount to make up for the misinformation, WTF! They want me to spend more money and shop some more. Nothing but insulting. The assembly instructions clearly show all parts needed. It has been a battle trying to get them to do the right thing which they refuse. I emailed the CEO and he will not respond. I told them to pick up their junk but now they want to send a technician to inspect... again WTF! So i just told them not to bother, i am putting it out for bulk trash pick up and will just count my losses. Expensive mistake made shopping with them. Now they have some goon calling my phone leaving a msg that he would like to know what he can do to fix this... a little too late. I wont do anymore business with them and they can kiss my ***! BUYER BEWARE update I am a month into dealing with this. Still no resolution. The CEO Todd Wanek has failed to respond to my requests to speak with him. I have been dealing with Chris Heintz | LCC Supervisor. He has promised to send the missing parts.Has not happened. He promised a full credit for the bed due to all the trouble. Has not happened. On the contrary there are now erroneous unauthorized charges showing up on my account. I have had to cancel the card being charged as a result. Will be filing my complaint with state attorney general and very possibly my attorney.

09/23/2021 I purchased a credenza in the store in Arlington, Texas. Was told my purchase would arrive before Christmas. On 12/21/2021, I checked on my order after trying several phone numbers. I was told that my delivery would now be March, 2022, so I cancelled my order. Since I paid cash (MISTAKE) it would be 12 weeks before I received a refund check. It is now late April, 2022 and still no refund! Unfortunately, I am unable to find my order receipt (still looking), so I am unable to contact anyone regarding my refund. My next step is to visit the store and see if they are able to retrieve my order from their data base for that date. I have little hope that I will see any of my money again. This was a hard lesson to learn especially since we have shopped and bought quite a few items from this location.
My advice to all: NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ASHLEY HOME STORE ANYWHERE. I am telling everyone I can about my frustration and disappointment.
In order to make a decent salary you have to work long hours like 55-60 hours a week and stalk customer via the phone and email.
I lost orders because the furniture didn't get made in the time period that the POS quoted which made me look like a liar to the angry customer that decided to cancel the order.
Also, the so call fabric called Durablend is like the Frankenstein Monster it's made of 17 percent of scraps of leather, some cotton and polyurethane (plastic). Doesn't that sound wonderful. And the regular "cloth" fabric they use is polyester.
They also try to sell you this furniture protection using fear tactics that is rubbish, because when something does happen to your furniture, they don't honor it.
The also have the LIST price and the SALE price on tags which is just rubbish as well.
I could have done well if I was willing to give up my life for this place and give up my morals as well
There is a reason why they have high turn over, the floor is flooded with desperate sales people.
Lastly the training is horrible and too complicated. And when you try to get a short to the point answer, you get a lecture and nothing but a lot of words that don't answer your simple question.
Lastly two days after I told my manager at the Plano, Tx store that I had
Schizophrenia that was well under control he suddenly fired me with no reason.

We purchased 19,000.00 dollars in cash, in 2021 to fill our house, it took 1 and 1/2 years to recieve it, but in the mist of all of this we had to change our order several times, cause they no longer made the products or they just discontinued the products. We were told 8 to 10 weeks, lies lies, we want our money back, nope in small print no cash refund... we have not had anything but a constant problem with them, they also told us the furniture was under a 5 year protection, NOPE another lie, only 1 year, DO NOT PURCHASE THE PROTECT ALL... it does not protect anything... I am still having to fight, now Ashley home furniture has lost my refund. From the protect all. We purchased a sofa. The first one was delivered heavily damaged. We sent it back. The second one came with paint splashes on it, but Ashley and the delivery company requested that we keep the sofa in the home to see if they could fix it - with the option of requesting a replacement if we decided later to do so (if we changed our mind). After not being pleased with what we heard from customer service about the repair process, we requested a replacement. They went against their word and is now giving us run-around. Now we have to wait for someone to come into the home, take the sofa apart, reupholster the portion with the paint on it. So, we are going to get a sofa that has been taken apart and pieced back together - all with a different fabric run. And Ashley will not tell me if they will replace it them if we are not happy with the results. Again, I keep getting the runaround. I should not have taken them at their word and should have sent this one back too. Lessons learned: don't ever buy from Ashley; you cannot trust them; they are not customer focused; they are too caught up in "policy" to do what is right for the customer; local store managers and regional mangers have no power over what happens when you walk out of the store.

Ordered sofa and loveseat from Ashley Furniture in Novi, MI. Salesman was great.
Then, furniture was delivered two weeks later than told at time of sale with no communication or explanation. When items were delivered, we noticed the love seat was only wrapped in plastic wrap unlike the heavily packaged sofa. When we asked the driver, he said they had to open it to ensure it had the legs because they had some issues with this recently. Before we were able to open it, the delivery truck drivers promptly left. Upon opening the package, it was clear that the item was not only damaged, but it had obviously been used. It had signs of wear and tear on the cushions and arms.
We called the service number provided on their website and in our confirmation email. The agent was not pleasant and told us they could only send a service agent out to see "if it could be fixed". We clarified that this was not fixable and it had been used. We paid full price for a new item, not a used one. We asked to speak to her supervisor who was even less pleasant. She said we should have refused delivery, and since we didn't, she couldn't do anything. Are you kidding me?!? This company is an absolute joke!
