“Still #1 affair site”

Daniel W.
2/27/16

AM is still #1 affair site. Huge database of members, very well established brand. There are few cons though: - High price - Recent security breach - You have to pay to have your personal data vanished However, I still regularly use it (and if you know how to treat housewives, you'll get to the 4th base), but to double, or even triple up my chances, I use another great affair website recommended by lots of other guys here: Nostringsaffair.com. Happy hunting!

“A site that draws romance scammers.”

Dennis P.
10/27/24

I was contacted by 10 women using Ashley Madison and all 10 were "romance scammers". Some waited 5 minutes to start asking for money some waited a few days but they all were scammers. The site is not worth your time or bucks!

Why do you not interview women before placing theme on your site.
I Had a 9 month "relationship" with a woman on Anastasia Date that presumably was searching for her ' soul mate". Nothing could be farther from the truth.

Yulia Babaytseva # ******* is indeed a beautiful woman who lures men to Karkov, Ukraine in hopes of their having a romantic interlude with the woman of their dreams and may have the intent of marrying. Unfortunately, Yulia forgets to tell them she is a *** and that will never happen. She talks men out of getting a hotel and has them use a chosen apartment she has set up for them where they can be alone. But she is never alone with you.

Constantly at her side is an interpreter ( even though you may speak intermediate Russian as I do) or her realtor. The apartment is 4 stories up in an old building with no elevator and she charges you probably nine times the going rate. She makes her money off the unfortunate men by skimming off the apartment, taxis ( she never uses her car) restaurants (she has a deal with) and gets a cut off the interpreter. She refuses to be touched, even hold hands, and is constantly wrapped up like a mummy.

Beware of this woman. You easily catch her in lies and you fly back out of town like I did after only the second day.

I spent about $250 to join AM. I set up a spread sheet to track my activity and outcomes because the site retains sent messages for 10 days only. It becomes very difficult to see who has been contacted.

Over the course of roughly 6 weeks I reached out to 62 women with personalized messages. Some received multiple notes. The woman were within 10 years of my age, that is to say they were all over 40.

The results after sending notes to 62 profiles:
- 29 women looked at my profile. I sent a note to most of the 29 who viewed me.
- 7 women sent notes after looking at my profile or responding to my 2nd message. 2 responses were to say they weren't interested
- of the remaining 5 who responded, 3 have been slow or did not reply to a follow-up
- 1 swapped notes and had potential to got to the next step. She shared a real photo of herself (profile photo's are often a shared image) and wasn't my type.
- 1 is still in contact and may have potential

I'm in my early 50's and am in very good physical shape. I'm not the elephant man.
Perhaps I'm just an $#*!. Whatever the reason, AM did not work for me. I've spent about two thirds of my credits and I'm bailing. It's been a waste of my time.

This is a joke and it's on you. Scammers set up fake profiles and send you messages to get you to buy credits and make you waste them on BS fake accountsl Don't do it. This should be illegal.

Ya know, I can deal with the fake profiles and all that. That's a pretty common practice. What I can't deal with is the trickery. These are some of the things they've done to trick me:

1) When I broke down to buy some credits, I clicked on the 100 Credits option. Well, when I checked out, the 500 Credit option is there (yes, I am sure I clicked the 100 credit option). You have to unselect it and rechoose the 100 option.

2) They automatically added a $19 charge for "Mobile Anytime". Whatever the hell that is. Bottom line, something I didn't want. But I caught it before I checked out.

3) After I sent my first email, I looked in sent items and noticed a flag under Priority Mail. I didn't think nothing of it, but come to find out, when you send an email, it automatically checks that Priority Mail, thus charging you double the credits to send the email.

4) Your credit history does not update as you use credits. I'm assuming this is so you don't loose track of how many credits you have.

5) I've heard a rumor that as soon as you're out of credits, it automatically renews on your card. Don't know if that's true, but buyer beware!

It's little double-cross/trickery stuff like this that will make me never visit this ridiculous site again.

Fake profiles, fake profiles, and more fake profiles. Anyone giving this site a five-star rating is probably a fake reviewer hired by the company. Don't get suckered in, steer clear.

As usually is the case, women play for free while men pay. I dropped nearly $400 and didn't talk to a single non-scammer female. Ashley is as bad as the rest, but their scammers are quite sophisticated. I'm considered handsome by 95% of women, very toned, muscular but not beefy cuz slender, 6 pack, hung. I'm 52 and end up taking home a hot 22 yo occasionally when I'm out at raves. I should have pulled some dates. Out of state women favorite you - profile says they travel extensively for work - you message them with a three paragraph, classy, well-written response inviting them to reach out if coming to the area. Get back a one word response, "ok". Ashley is spose to be halfway legitimate. It's not. See photos of 18 year old women, with stated age of 45. No, not old photos. Scam. You get winks and favorited...so you will spend credits messaging. Never a response - except from scammers. Here is a clue guys - any time you get a phone number to text offsite, Google the area code. It will usually be from another state far away from where the member is supposed to be. Ask if you can call because you love to hear a voice. They will deny you because they are men. Call the number anyway and let it ring. A voice message will say " this voice text subscriber is not available" - telling you this is not a cell phone. You are chatting with someone on a PC or laptop...likely in Nigeria. Stay away from Ashley. If I couldn't get anywhere, you won't either.

One addition - the truly obese women might be legitimate. I didn't hit on them. 275 pound? One said 350. Ummmm...no.

I guess it wont surprise anyone to read that I was a bit wary about trying this site (as I am for any cheating site ive been using nostringsaffair.com for a while now too and felt the same nerves when I joined that), affairs are a risky business at the best of times but I guess thats part of the thrill the idea that youre after a taste of the forbidden fruit gives everything that extra edge. But when youre having an affair through a dating site you leave a trail and no matter how computer illiterate you think your wife is, youre one Cosmo article on how to catch your husband cheating online away from being found out! But overall, I must say Im glad I got over my concerns and gave it a shot. I like checking my phone after the wife and kids go upstairs for the night and I have a bit of me time. I like having filthy webcam chats on my lunch breaks at work (you can say anything you want to the women on these sites, things youd never dare say to your wife). Sure, I come across the odd fake profile and ive heard all the bad stuff but at the end of the day, it takes some common sense and caution, as long as you stick with that youll be fine. Dont go using your own name, dont tell people where you live (always hotel meets) and dont go sending money to stunning women who wont meet you but have fallen desperately for your charms. Be smart and be careful and you can get a kick out of these kind of sites. I know I do.

1. Guys, you WASTE your time and a LOT of MONEY on these SEX sites!

2. You are much better to just going to a PRO or PROSTITUE, because for the SAME money or LESS than you would SPEND on a DATE, you are garnuanteed SEX and will probably spend LESS on a PRO, than the MANY times you have too WINE and DINE someone for (MAYBE) a chance to get LAID!

It is a lot of work but hang in there. I do believe that AM places fake profiles online. A married women that places a public photo with a ridiculous mask over her face only to have a unique tattoo in the picture. Come on. Stay away from these types anyway. Either she is a fake or insanely dilutional. Stay away from single women too. Don't mess around with someone who has less to lose than you. Target the ones with no photos, public or private. They seem to respond better to messages probably because they don't get as many responses. You do have to make a girl smile when she reads your message. Figure out a good boiler plate message and fire bomb at least 10. If you are awkward with women, you will have a tougher time. Things are done backwards online. You have to communicate through messages, then hopefully text or phone call and if you pass that then you get to meet them. I have had good success with women once face to face. Getting to that point with AM is difficult. That's the trick here. Learn to effectively get them to meet you then you have a good chance. If you are not skilled at finessing that, either spend the money and learn from your mistakes and get better at it or keep the money in your pocket and hit the bars. If you aren't good at that either, you're dreaming either way.

I'm guessing Ashley Madison used to be a good and reliable site because I remember that whole controversy surrounding it when they discovered a bunch of political figures and high profile people using it for their affairs. That must have been during it's hey day, because as far as I can tell this site SUCKS. It's been a few weeks since I've joined now and I must have had only ONE actual conversation with a real person, and she lived all the way in the UK! On maybe two or three occasions I've spoken to someone only for them to ask me to pay for some type of chatting service so we can "talk" outside of AM. Every message that I get in my inbox is pretty much the same response with almost the exact same template. In addition, I'm a decent looking guy but I've had no more than about 6 views on my profile. Not trying to sound egotistical, but even if I was average you would think that people would at least check your profile out especially after you have viewed theirs. Hardly anyone has pictures and whatever images they do have are almost always blurred or "private only." Lastly, it states that this site has millions of members but I've been cycling through the same damn profiles over and over. Even when I change my preferences I still get pretty much the same exact results. DITCH THIS BULL$#*! AND DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
