New member only a few days and I have not been happy so far. I am an attractive guy and have written up a very appealing profile yet there has not been any response to me putting myself out there to some of these women. I am starting to think that at least many of these profiles are fake or old and out of date. If someone wants to see your pictures, you profile picture and the link embedded takes you right to it. Seems obvious this is all a cash grab for this poorly operated company. Just stay away from it.

This site is packed with some very cold women who must believe they have a golden $#*!. Return emails are rare and more often as not, the rejection will come with little or no explanation. I am very polite and try to act like a gentlemen and all I expect in return is a little courtesy. I may not be the handsomest man or the cleverest but there is no need to be rude. First of all online dating takes effort no matter what kind of site your on typical dating or something a bit more specialist like fitness dating or whatever. I joined Ashley Madison as a bit of a laugh using a fake name and must say im hooked. In fact, Ive been having so much fun searching, sending messages and chatting with the odd girl that ive joined a rival site too (think its called Nostringsaffair.com or something like that). Could see me getting addicted to this affairs stuff lol! Thought I'd try the newly revised AshleyMadison.com. Wow, not exactly worth the investment just to get set up and then not much play until they want big pay to really be a "member." You'd think with their PR fiasco that they'd have come back with a friendlier first timer program or something to that effect, but really after just a few minutes of being on the site and sending a few emails, the next jump is on the low $80.00 and then if you want to access it through your phone? Another $20 out of the gate ON TOP OF the rather pricey monthly cost. Its time for a new company to do it bigger and more affordably and that's what AshleyMadison will probably be confronted with in no time.

I'm a woman in a major metropolitan area. I found just what I was looking for. The guys that aren't successful on here may not know how to talk to women or want to rush too fast. I had one creep basically state how disappointed he was after I clammed up at his hotel suggestion immediately after starting contact.

This dating site is a total waste of time and effort, most useless dating site I've ever come across, it's expensive buying there stupid credit system just to talk to mostly scammers. I've used the site for almost two years and have met several nice women who were there for the same purpose as me... an affair. The tough part, if you are male, is there appears to be 10 times as many men as women vying for one another's affections. The only effective way I found to communicate was via chat. Intra site emailing is useless as I have been told by some women on the site they receive 50-60 emails or more a day. Chatting, however, costs "credits" and they're expensive. Minimum buy is $79 for 200 credits. 30 minutes of chat is 30 credits or $0.40 a minute! What I usually did was once the conversation was amicable, I'd suggest moving to Yahoo or Google IM and end the paid session there. Still, it wasn't easy. Again, the ratio is heavily tilted to men.

Ash Mad is all about fast, quick, easy. It's great that it can try to supply that and secrecy at the same time but its not worked for me yet & I do sometimes worry that the lack of patience in todays society can lead to people getting caught on sites like this. AM is one of these clever sites that you dont know whether youre joining a dating site or some kind of online Italian clothes store! It could be a fashion brand as it's nice to look at (and really very easy to use) but when I compare it with sites that have actually came through for me in the past (nostringsaffair.com the clear example) then it falls short. I'm all for my dating sites to be big businesses and look professional but they need to get me results within 3 months or I move on. In fairness, if NSA stops working for me I would probably come back and give it another try.
