“Still #1 affair site”

Daniel W.
2/27/16

AM is still #1 affair site. Huge database of members, very well established brand. There are few cons though: - High price - Recent security breach - You have to pay to have your personal data vanished However, I still regularly use it (and if you know how to treat housewives, you'll get to the 4th base), but to double, or even triple up my chances, I use another great affair website recommended by lots of other guys here: Nostringsaffair.com. Happy hunting!

Top Critical Review

“A site that draws romance scammers.”

Dennis P.
10/27/24

I was contacted by 10 women using Ashley Madison and all 10 were "romance scammers". Some waited 5 minutes to start asking for money some waited a few days but they all were scammers. The site is not worth your time or bucks!

Im not 100% on this yet. Need more time. But it's not a risk or anything, would suggest trying it. For my area it's just not quite pumping like I hoped it would be. Nostringsaffair is better in terms of options where im based but its better to check for your area as it might be a different story.

This site is a joke they take forever to update you profile, take forever answering questions which some never do!
99% of the requests I get from matches are fake spam, shouldn't be the case at such a premium.
I have met people here it's not totally worthless just to be fair but the fake spam I get is ridiculous
If they don't like what your saying they will just edit your profile without warning so be careful. This is a website who use bad programming, bad unethical practices and this is why you get hacked online.
This site is a joke they use no real password validation ( this is why they got hacked so be careful it's still the same or worse) my Facebook password is much more secure because facebook has good validation in place.
You would think AM would pay more attention to detail but it's a site for old stupid people who think their privates not their brains
It's also very very expensive!

Hey. Ashleymadison is still one of the better sites. I hooked up some nice looking ladies there. It is maybe a bit expensive, but well.

But on the other hand - the real hot dates i found at datingme.org - maybe you just try both. I guess you will really find someone you are looking for.

Greetings,
Marcel

The vast majority of women on Ashley Madison are scammers, frauds, thiefs, etc. It's hard to sift throughout all the BS on the site, hoping to find just one person who is real.
The number of men on the vast range in the 100's if not thousands, compared to only very few women. So the competition is steep.
Most of the ladies on Ashley Madison are not attractive at all, that most seem to have weight problems, some very severe weight issues.
Don't waste your time, effort, energy, or money on this site

All the bible thumpers and people hating on people who using websites like these should one, understand that people who are cheaters, want to cheat or are thinking about it, will do it regardless of web based sites. Second, is it any of our business what others do, no its not. If you've been cheated on, because of any of the websites like AM, you likely should be more focused on fixing your obviously crappy relationship or kick the $#*! out of your life. Posting useless hate on a web page because of your belief in the giant sky wizard or because your upset does nothing to help you, because people will do what they want anyways. Perhaps you should be more focused on why whoever hurt you did what they did and try and fix it or find a better person. Rant over.

I have used AshleyMadison.com some years ago before I discovered Saphrina.com and honestly, I always liked it and I managed to have an affair with some women I met. IMO there are only two or three good affair dating sites and this sure is one of em!

Have tried it w/very poor results. The ratio is of men to women is the typical adult dating 20 to 1 so you need to have some game and lots of luck. Don't wan tot forget to mention the 'Activation Fee' which is just a big joke.

98% of the ads are site generated fake ads! You will get many replies that are "bot" auto messages saying " send me a message" and then the ad vanish! Nine times in a row! Come on now. And if you really pay attention, all of the ads are written the same!

I asked Ashley Madison customer support why so many of the women on their site were fake (Same women listed in many zip codes) including the one they use to entice you to join. They explained they are "Angels", "Angels are meant to illustrate what being part of an online community is like" they explain.

As soon as you join, you get a message from an angel you are supposed to think is a real person. You have to buy credits in order to read her (fake) message. Then when you purchase credits you receive a bunch of unsolicited messages from single young ladies from all over the country. These messages deplete your credits in a hurry. You can block these messages, but that blocks messages from everyone. If you buy more credits, you have to pay an additional $19.95 a month to receive any messages.

These folks are very clever.

A scam. Expensive and the only 'dating' site I know of that charges you ($19) to remove your profile! Seriously. Then, if you tell them that you are going to do a charge back they threaten to expose your profile, photos, and e-mails to your credit card company to "prove account usage". Avoid this place like the plague.

To ADL Media -- Yes, I backcharged you AND I will sue if my information is revealed to anyone or any entity.

LOL... I am one of those women who "don't exist":)

I agree with many reviewers that sites like Saphrina may be better for men, because they are not as expensive as AM.

But for women AM is simply the best site. Women use AM for free and there are many men to chose from. Maybe too many because it gets very annoying to receive like 200 messages a day.

After all, I agree that AM may not be a perfect solution for men but for women it sure is!

Had many hits on messages before I had even put photos up, not but less than 20 people randomly in central texas to hunt for, mostly just blank profiles or bots that message you then it automatically puts a large points total to text in the messaging which is shady, worthless time spent no real people in my area
Waste of time for me
Stay clear

Tip for consumers:
waste of time,

They charge 9$ per first message. For nothing! Not 1 normal reply! Only bots. They just want u to keep on buying. They just tell u - keep on trying. Each try is $9. There is nobody on the site. NOT 1 NORMAL REPLY - NONE!

This has to be one of the biggested scam website with a lot fake female profiles. Out of 100 massages sent only 2 replied in 2 month period. Once you purchase a good amount of credits, you will get a lot of massages or winks in the beginning to make you use up your credits to send massages. Of course, you not going to get any massages back almost 90% of those female profiles are fake. Do not wast your time. I had a better luck on CL with free posts

I joined less than one week ago. Every day there was a problem with my acct. Suspended for no reasons. This happened every damn day. My account was never valid for a straight 24 hours, more likely for about 5-6 hours a day. I kept emailing and finally they banned me forever! LOL. WHAT A JOKE. I think they do this to keep the number of women low and the men have to keep paying. It's a scam for sure.

Tip for consumers:
Don’t waste your time and join! Must be run by short ugly men or jealous women!

I am a female and I joined AM, but I only stayed on it for less than 6 days. It wasn't what I thought it would be at all. Most of the guys on there come across as obsessed with sex and are very heavily into kinky, swinging etc. They have particular appetites which to be honest if your not into that it's not your site. I saw it as really being an M & S site but masquerading as an Affair site. Also some guys sent me pictures of them either naked or performing sex acts on a partner - they haven't even started a conversation and that is what you receive needless to say I never responded to those guys. This will put/scare most women off. One guy that I did email confirmed that there are a lot of weirdos on the site. This is the reason why I removed myself from it. I know realise why women are now free don't stay on long enough.

Tip for consumers:
If your into kinky, swinging, threesomes obsessed with sex then this is your site. Forget the affair part.

I'm a legitimate woman who has been trying to sign up for an account since last week. I get an error message with each attempt saying that my account is suspended. When I inquire, I get an automatic email saying that I've violated the terms of the site. My question is how can I violate the terms when I've never been able to login? Men should beware as it's impossible for a woman to actually login!

There are so many men using AshleyMadison I can tell why why women seem to like this site a lot. They have the agony of choice. For the same reason I know that many men start using alternative sites like Saphrina. So I am not really sure if it is the best option for male users. For women it is, that is pretty clear!

AM is a great site if - for some reason - you were not lucky on other affair websites like Saphrina. It sure is a little more expensive but offers a large member base, especially in Canada. So it all depends on where you live but it is always worth a try and it seems like a pretty cool site.

I was able to meet with one women out of endless amount of AM scammers. Went on a date. Now she is blackmailing me and I'm really mad. I deeply regret getting involved with AshleyMadison women. It's not a safe site and it's full of all types of scammers.

They will sell you very costly coins. And you are charged for every attempt you make to contact a female ( first contact you loose 5$). Send a hi to the same message you are charged $5. The female ( mostly a bot, and once a while a scammer) replies a hi. You again pay to read her msg. In the end just to know it's a bot or scammer you loose 30$>>that too for a bot. Lol. Save yourself the embarrassment..

Tip for consumers:
Don't buy points.. Site only has bots or scammers..

The site seems to have some real women but many are not real. The company uses fake profiles to get guys to use their points. One way you can prove the site is a scam is that as soon as you cancel your subscription you will get one or more messages from girls where before you might not have ever received one that was self initiated by a girl. The only way you can view the message is if you resign up.

You don't hear much about AM anymore after the hack. Just hope that other (good) affair sites like Saphrina, VM, and so on learned their lesson and invest some extra $ on security. It is a shame that basically good sites (don't care what all the other unsatisfied men review) struggles d/t soem criminals taking down the site.

Unless AM recovers I would use the alternative affair websites (saphrina, vm, maybe some aff sites as well) but I seriously hope that AM will have a "comeback" soon. After all it is a great site!

This has to be the biggest waste of money I have ever spent. There may be a 5 out of 100 that real and the other 95 women are FAKE as all HELL. MEN save your money and you'll have better luck at a bar.
I wanted to give this -10 stars but sitejabber won't let me.

Yes, there are fake profiles. Yes, there are escorts.
And yes, scammers. That being said, these should all be fairly easy to identify when you're on the site. I've been on for a little over a month and have had contact off the site with about 7 women. Get the people you're talking to off the site (go to kik, Snapchat or something like it). Also, so many guys blame not talking to any women on the site just being a scam. Maybe don't post a pic of your $#*!? How bout smiling in your profile pic instead of looking like an angry rapist? Common sense, clean yourself before taking a pic... wear a nice freaking shirt. If you're sending real messages to enough women that don't have shady profiles and take the time to create a decent profile yourself, you'll meet someone.
