AM is still #1 affair site. Huge database of members, very well established brand. There are few cons though: - High price - Recent security breach - You have to pay to have your personal data vanished However, I still regularly use it (and if you know how to treat housewives, you'll get to the 4th base), but to double, or even triple up my chances, I use another great affair website recommended by lots of other guys here: Nostringsaffair.com. Happy hunting!
I was contacted by 10 women using Ashley Madison and all 10 were "romance scammers". Some waited 5 minutes to start asking for money some waited a few days but they all were scammers. The site is not worth your time or bucks!
Cant say whether its a scam or not but totally not for me and feel ripped off.
Really thought about it before I signed up and eventually gave it a try. So I just created a profile and didn't buy any credits for at least a week. Just observing I was receiving on average about 3-4 hits a day with a variety of ladies showing interest. But you cant see their message unless you buy credits.
Now with 10+ women waiting in the wings what man could resist.
Well this fool couldn't so I bought the basic package, after whats $89. Its been a week and everything totally stopped the day I bought credits how coincidental was that.
In my opinion and as one reviewer said if your in shape and look better than average then you have a chance but average will not do it and if your in that bracket save your pennies boys. Like most things in life its just another get rich on peoples hope scam.
$89 out of pocket and I still have 85 credits left who wants them happy to pass them on for free.
Good luck and don't say you weren't warned.
I have just joined this site and am not really persueing anybody yet but does anybody get message that say Textmèee and there is a phone number say to text them what is that about and I live in Canada and all these messages are from the US very strange l don't know what to expect if I respond as it seems kinda odd to me why cant these sites just rid the fake scams crazy stuff can someone clue me in possibly P FROM TORONTO AREA
A lot of 'women' who visit your profile over and over. Beware of them! Seems like some of them are not real. Been using it for a month but doubt I will continue!
I wish there was a lower rating. This site is FULL of fake ads. I would be surprised if any women actually joined this site. Don't waste a dime on this crap. No truth to any of it whatsoever.
Tip for consumers:
Save your money
Ashley Madison, like other dating websites, give women all the power in initiating dialogue. There is a massive problem with that. That's not their role. They have no SKILL in that area. Pursuing and initiating is MEN'S job. It's how we got here as a species. WE are the hunters. WE are the ones that pursue. We spend our ENTIRE LIVES working on our swag, personality and charm. Women on the other hand, never HAVE to work on their ‘getting' skills because THEIR getting skill is their beauty. They never HAVE to work on ‘picking up guys' because that's not their existence. So then. What happens when you reverse our nature roles that have been embedded into our DNA (on a virtual format to boot) and give the creatures that don't know how to initiate. The power of to initiate? Exactly what you'd expect. It sucks. Women lack the skills to take the initiative because it's not in their nature to do that! They don't know how! And if they are being honest, they don't WANT to be in charge of the process. Women don't want to win, they want a winner.
All that to say, I just wish these dating sites would consider the numbers. That there are more women born than men on average and there are far more women available than eligible bachelors. High quality men ARE the rare commodity. And the fact that WE are the ones that have to pay to play on these sites is completely $#*!-backwards and mind-boggling. If anyone should be paying to play on these dating sites. It should be women.
-That is all, cheers
It takes ages and I was about to give up after I spent many hours a week trying to find a woman for discreet encounters. But it worked for me. The woman I finally met told me why it takes for ages. She said that she gets at least 50-100 messages a day from men and after a while simply gets tired of them. She only reads a few, those which seem to be interesting for her, and deletes the rest.
Same story on Saphrina.com, although it was a little more stress-free. I spent probably a few hours a week and it took over two weeks until I finally ended up meeting a women in a hotel room. That woman comfirmed the same story my AM date told me.
What I learned from using affair websites: You must be polite, even if you get no reponse. Both women I met told me that they never answer initially and they never use their affair website each and every day. Most important rule: Don't be rude and never send nasty pictures or anything like that.
It is some hard work as you have to sort through some inactive profiles and scam contacts but keep trying and you will finally meet someone. There are women on there!
I received close to 20 messages from almost identical profiles. In each case the message said what are you here for and let's exchange numbers. I am 83 and every one of these was from a woman under 30 most of whom were giving Europe or England if they're residents that's the conversation progressed everyone said that they were not working or living in my hometown which sometimes they identified and sometimes they didn't. All of them ask for a cell or text number and all of them talked about hooking up if I would register for a so-called safe dating site. There were so many that I cannot imagine actually Madison is not aware of this and perhaps complicit in this.
Actually Madison is always sending me suggestions that I contact a woman in her 20s or 30s. I have yet to see a legitimate message from a woman over 65. My guess is a majority of their profiles are phony
In addition when I went to respond to five more of the same type messages I was taken to an intercept website which said I had to pay $20 to upgrade my mobile capability. Obviously I have no intention of that kind of scam.
Tip for consumers:
My review and complaint does not talk about pricing or refunds as I have had no issues. It is the phony profiles and the recent attempts to get me to pay $20 for something called a mobile capacity increase
Beware, before you open an account with AM, that most of AM is composed of women/men who just establish profiles desiring to sell you private sexual webcam sessions. So for the most part, AM is really an extension of the PORN industry. I would say 99% of the communication from people having reviewed your profile on AM is for the sake of trying to sell you of some sort of PORN.
Yes, it's not all bad. There are real people ( married and unmarried) who actually sign on to meet other people with or without the expectation of a sexual encounter and cheating their spouses but they are far outnumbered by the PORN sellers. There are also many who sign on for the sheer entertainment value of the website communications with no intent of seeking another person either for coffee or sex. To each his own, I guess. But I would think that there are far better and cheaper ways of meeting people. So don't expect AM community to be a solution to your desire to confront loneliness and to meet people of the opposite sex with the idea of establishing healthy long term relationships. Jumping into AM with the idea of finding a good woman to date is kind of like jumping out of a boat and trying to catch a fish with you bare hands.( not too likely)
Beware... DO NOT use a credit card for anything within AM. There are too many risks such as automatic renewals and outside activities that you may decide to participate in.
I used a Walmart gift card to purchase my credits and I plan on terminating my account before they run out. Don't give them a credit card to charge.
It's a rip off. Wanna date-find something else but Ashley Madison. Even if You wanna close an account with them,-You'll end up paying a fee! Suckers, suckers and suckers!
Tip for consumers:
It is plenty of sites much much better than Ashley Fuc... Madison!
I read the reviews and thought 50/50 so I signed up after 1 1/2 yrs still no luck but spent lots money. Here's the scam they send you a email so you get excited and you respond back then there's not another response and that cost you to open the message from them then you respond it cost if you send key for pictures it cost you everything you do cost 5 credits and the credits are not cheap. I love the one they send you a message and you respond back just simple hi how's it going they send please send key you do they respond nice want to connect you respond and poof there gone all this cost you 5 credits 25.00 it's a sweet scam there are hookers and they will hook up but at an additional fee and a STD so that would be interesting we'll good luck but it's all a scam. Forgot they also send you a email that says be the first to respond with this person so you open and poof another 5 credits gone it's a very sweet scam no wonder there so big they get rich as you get poor and no fun just frustration
DONT SIGN UP! THEY WILL CONTINUE CHARGING YOUR CARD FOR MINOR CHARGES OF 1.56 EVERY DAY. THEY HAVE 3 SMALL CHARGED THEY CONTINUE TO CHARGE REGARDLESS IF YOU CANCEL. THEY ALSO CHARGE 19.00 TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT. DONT SIGN UP ITS A JOKE SPEND YOUR MONEY ON A DIFFERENT SITE!
I joined this site and was charged 87.00 18.99 for mobile app that I did not want or need but it's no choice I sent 4 messages 4 and I was then asked to purchase more credits A COMPLETE SCAM RIPOFF
I'm being told that I have to pay 5000 us to stop someone from sharing my details... you are an have caused me stress... I'm going to sue you... or else close your site down... you are $#*!ers
Fake messages from fake people. I've had some of the real people tell me they never sent the message AM sent from their profile. Just a way to scam you out of your $$. Pathetic.
I just signed up. Yup! I was stupid. Payed $50. And the emails of women wanting to hook up stoped. I was on the no membership status but was able to send winks and receive emails of women wanting to chat locally. Unfortunately, now I dont get anyone wanting to hook up. HMMM THIS COMPANY JUST WANTED To Get me toPAY $50. What a f#@! Ripp off.
Tip for consumers:
Guys dont fall for this $#*!!!!!!
This makes me sick to my stomach, this site is so disgusting. GET A $#*!ING DIVORCE if you are so unhappy with yourself and your spouse. Guys need to stop being $#*!'s and women need to stop being whore's, grow up, you are all adults!
Save your money and try a different site. After a year on this site, 99% are scammers and the few that are real are so deluged with invites it just isn't worth it. I had several major league scammers that appeared nice at first, then one told me she needed to borrow $1.7M to get her dad's $18M inheritance out of the UK - as she needed to post taxes to get the money released. Well, any idiot knows that isn't how taxes work, they withhold the money, you don't have to post. Then there was a girl who claimed she worked in importing gems (diamonds etc.) and sent me a desperation email as she was detained in customs and was in jail all on a huge misunderstanding, she just needed me to send her $8,500. RIGHT - she is in jail, but has e-mail access and the best source of bail money was a guy she never even met. Give me a break.
Then, when I blocked the TS ones (they offer a "Block this user" link) they still come up anyway over and over again on all searches.
So in my opinion, the site is worthless. It is a scam that lists a bunch of fake pictures and users. Save your money and try another site, ANY other site.
Joined the site in Australia and have been on one week and used 100 credites my advice to people joining this site the first dozen or so women that contact you delete them straight away they will probably be scammers promoting their own sites. Although the promoters of the site say they screen this from happening it does
Be careful of live chat it is expensive ( 30) credits for 30 minutes I started a chat it lasted 5 minutes then the site shut down for no reason lost my 30 credits.
If you want to make contact only contact women that have a photo of themselves, I think the site like all other sites put fillers in to make it look as though they have a lot of members
Finally I suppose if you spend a lot of money on theses sites your sure to meet someone but for 3 or 4 hundred dollars your probably better joining a dating agency that specialises in extra marital affairs at least you can talk to some one.
P. s I did meet someone on the Ashyey site and we correspond daily the only problem is she lives on the other side of the world.
But I'm still a member like I said it is one of the more genuine sites I have come across but I'm not going to put a lot of money in it the probability of finding someone short term is not there
Tip for consumers:
Do your research and look at other possibilies other than online dating sites
The vast majority of accounts are fake. Created by AM staff for "entertainment purposes". Of course you still have to pay to red the messages they send you.
Tip for consumers:
Scam
They sold me a credit package for $90. Only got to message like 5 profiles. They would not give me a refund. They're a bunch of con artists. Horrible site, would not recommend!
I spent my hard earned on this and really wish I hadn't bothered. At least if I'd spent the money on an escort I'd have got a blow job for my trouble. Save your money, it's not worth it.
Started off with@ 80 credits. On the first day got a few winks and messages. Started to communicate after a few back and forth messages. The females profile just vanished from the site. Said the profile can not be found. Others message you and send keys for private photos so you can see them. They tell you to message them back. When you do they dont repond. So you waste 9 credits every time you message a lady the first time. If you give your digits or email they dont respond. And what a surprise the profile vanishes from the site. And it tells you the profile cant be found. Look for other profiles and message them. This is so you use all of your tokens and have to buy more. Its just a wallet draining scam. On the site for six weeks. Not one hook up. No conversations worth anything, Bots city. Then there are the ones that say Hornybabe34 has chosen you. You have been chosen contact them. Well I got@ 30 of those. The funny thing is there is a section that shows you who clicked, read or looked at your profile. Because they would have to look at it to message you. To see if they were even interested. 90% of the messages I received from a so called horny woman. Never even looked at my profile. Hmmm? All I can do is warn you. Ashley Madison is a huge money sucking scam. Full of computer generated fake profiles and bots. Stay away.
Tip for consumers:
That it was a total scam
Its free to wink a profil to let them know you're interesting, and you have an answer saying that they are interesting, so you write them, cost you 8 credits, to find out that they never write to you again... Its generate by the site itself
Also, the "Priority Message" is automaticly set ON. If you don't turn it OFF, you first message cost you 8 credit + 5 credit for priority. Then all other message to that person are free, but if you forget tu set Priority Message to OFF, it will cost you 5 credits each time.
I spent 200 credits and I THINK I spoke to 1 real girl... All other girls stoped writing me soon I accept to send them a message for 8 credits, so waste of money site
First things first, im a married man living in Oklahoma. Im not a bad guy, I just miss certain things and rather than leave my darling wife I choose to strike up conversations with people online that arent looking to run away with me or steal me, they just miss the same things I do. Or they miss different things. But they miss something and for a short time every few days I like to lose my self in women that really get my predicament and dont judge me for playing around. My favourite site for finding married women has always been NoStringsAffair.com but I figured Id finally give Ash Mad a try, since Id had some super luck recently and figured Id best make the most of it while I can! The site is quite good, clearly its known as the market leader over here in the States for a good reason. There were some fakes but nothing that really bothered me and I was quite impressed by the number of women on the site that were showing up in my Oklahoma searches. Im seriously thinking about keeping both subscriptions now if I can find a woman who will meet up with me for a quick affair but if that doesnt happen ill probably just stick to the one site. Overall its worth checking out!
The website is real but meeting women is fictitious. It is like talking on an adult cam chat. It can be fun but you are not going anywhere. It is a little like mystery meat that comes in a can.
Meet bored men & lonely housewives. Define your experience, and live life to the fullest! Life is short. Have an affair.?
