“Still #1 affair site”

Daniel W.
2/27/16

AM is still #1 affair site. Huge database of members, very well established brand. There are few cons though: - High price - Recent security breach - You have to pay to have your personal data vanished However, I still regularly use it (and if you know how to treat housewives, you'll get to the 4th base), but to double, or even triple up my chances, I use another great affair website recommended by lots of other guys here: Nostringsaffair.com. Happy hunting!

Top Critical Review

“A site that draws romance scammers.”

Dennis P.
10/27/24

I was contacted by 10 women using Ashley Madison and all 10 were "romance scammers". Some waited 5 minutes to start asking for money some waited a few days but they all were scammers. The site is not worth your time or bucks!

I am a very attractive woman. I talked to many men on this site and they are all the same. They're all douche bags. Most are not what they describe.

I've been on A.M. now for about 4 years and have met and had sex with 19 women, 4 of which I still see regularly. I can't believe all of the poor reviews on here, but it probably correlates very well to the horror stories the women I have met have told me. Guys with crazy requests, sending $#*! pics immediately, being stalkers through email when you haven't even talked to or met the person yet! Guys, get a clue! Your horrible profiles and behavior is making it very easy for guys like me. I'm no superstar, average looks, average body, hair pretty thin on top, 41 years old and I'm still picking up 25 year olds because I know how to write and talk in a way that sparks interest. It's about separating yourself from the herd of morons who can't write 2 good sentences in a row and then expect women to come running when they send an email like "Meet me behind the gas station so you can blow me in my car" Yeah, that really turns them on... I probably shouldn't even post this cause either you will say I'm full of it, or I'll be helping a bunch of clueless guys start getting laid and cut in to my results. Regardless, A.M. is definitely legit. I won't say that there aren't some "pros" working on there, and maybe that is more apparent in a smaller area, but in large cities, this is the best thing since, well, I can't think of anything better.

Also, for those of you who complain about the cost of credits, I paid 149 for 500 which lasted 3 years. I'm sure most of you could spend that in a few nights at the bar buying drinks for ladies and still end up home alone. So, think about this, I've been with 19 women for under 150$, works out to less than 8$. I must not be a math major, cause that doesn't seem expensive to me.

Tip for consumers:
Spend time to write a good profile, do your research, google keywords that are subtle yet provocative.

AM is just another scam dating site like all the others. Filled with fake profiles, scam artists from foreign countries, ala carte pay per message, rip offs, even for full subscriptions! A one month membership costing $63, which is 2-3x what Zoosk POF etc charge for the same BS. Among the few real profiles there are consist of the same, narcissistic, entitled women all looking for a perfect man who is 15-7 seven years younger than they are and won't even consider dating their own age, nevermind being older. And they're no great prize themselves, openly seeking to cheat on their husbands. That's the only difference. The other sites, these same women LIE about their relationship status. The most frequent response is an AM planted shill, or bot asking you for a personal message costing between 9 and 14 credits, which of course, you pay for on top of your $63 monthly subscription and a $20 "access charge" which is $83 total! The giveaway is each one of these responses uses the same exact wording in their request for you to send a personal message. Then you get the occasional scam message from "the girl next door" seeking the "God fearing man" who is in town for a gold exchange convention and they want to meet up for drinks and for your bank account number so they can money launder their proceeds. Almost as old as the Nigerian prince email scam from 1995! I had one try to tell me she moved here because she was tired of the snow... in southern Italy! OMG! At least it made me laugh, but still SMH. Anyway, I'm out 83 bucks that I can't get back that I could have kept in the bank, or spent on golf. Do yourself a favor, pass on AM. Trust me!

I understand that many people complain about AshleyMadison, especially after the recent hack. Some people complain because they charged to delete profiles, some people because their business model is expensive and their marketing is ever-present. And yes, maybe you should also try other alternative affair websites like Saphrina (Fast growing) or VictoriaMilan (BIG in Europe). But always remember that AshleyMadison has by far the largest member base of users and does a great job for many, many years.

I have used several sites and some of them work, some of them don't. I guess it depends on so many factors that it is really hard to find "The Number One Site". But AshleyMadison worked out pretty well for me in the past. But my point is: It is all about try and error.

You have not been lucky on AshleyMadison? Try a different affair website. Don't give up because as I mentioned: It depends on so many different factors (members base in your area, coincidence, chemistry, luck).

On most affair websites it is free to Create a profile. Create a profile on AshleyMadison, create a profile on Saphrina, create a profile on VictoriaMilan and create a profile on every site you want and simply go for the site you feel comfortable with.

If for some reason you did not manage to have an affair, don't blame the affair website! They provide a platform where people meet. They never guarantee you will have an affair because again: It depends on so many factors. If you go to a nightclub you go to a place where men and women meet. There is no guarantee that you won't be going home all by yourself. Maybe see it this way: An affair website is just like a nightclub: It all depends on what YOU do to not go home alone.

Hi, without spending a cent, I can see this is a scam.
10 or 12 dollars a month just to be in the top listings,
I guess you would be if you hate your money that much.
Then, to cost you just to contact one of their fake profiles most likely
Posted by the company itself.
If you are willing to pay a little to be on a site, no bull, real people
No added charges, full access to the whole site, then I do have a site for you.
I am in no way affiliated with this site, except I have been a paying customer for probably 7 or 8 yrs.
Approx $159 canadian +tx for a whole yr. Gets you a gold membership, which lets you
View all profiles, send winks or flirts, or better yet unlimited messaging. If you are traveling, you can even look up tons of profiles wherever you're going. The site is full of real profiles, and some fake I'm sure, but I have met singles and couples that I had good experiences with. One thing that I find amazing, is that you have full access to profiles full of full on homemade videos of the members. Some are absolutely steaming hot. Singles, couples, threesomes, gang bangs, transgender and on. I believe I have about 4 or 500 in my favourites list. There are bronze and silver memberships also, but I go for gold.
My membership has expired on my favourite site, and I decided to check to see what else was available. I heard about ashley madison and thought I would check it out.
Without experiencing the site I bet that a lot of members would attest that the block of time or paid messages you have forked out for, get no results, and when your allowable messages are getting down to almost nothing, then, mysteriously you get a bunch of women contacting you. Then, you buy more time so you can contact them back, and then they disappear. Yrs ago I experienced that on those fake phone sites.
You could spend 30 or 50 bucks a day.
As soon as I push submit review, I am going to
adultfriendfinder.com
And gladly forking out the money for another yr.

I was on the site for about 3 years (very careful - I am single and was looking for a single/divorced or divorced FWB situation because I was lonely and had tried the more traditional dating (for LTR) sites (Match, Christian, POF) to find that they are a farce. The Entry cost of Ashley Madison is Excessive considering the support they provide, Assume $100 minimum. To write a person is $5.00 and the system is defaulted to put an priority check mark on the email as priority for an $5.00 ($10 per contact). If a member writes you "collect" and you click on it, it is another $5.00 for them to say, "sorry not interested" because there is no way to communicate it without a charge or blowing the contact off. I found that the vast majority of women who write me were prostitutes, scammers, and "sugar babies". They were quite good at responding to scammers or illegal activities. However, they only returned $5 of the $20 or so it cost me to discover that I was dealing with a Nigerian scammer (most of my membership). It cost me about $300 to meet one nice woman who was married to a husband with borderline personality disorder and needed me more as a friend than as a lover (three hundred dollars to enter the friend zone). I put my same ad on the local craigslist weeded out scam and within a couple of weeks found a woman who met my needs (her husband died in an accident and she needed an adult and a lover in her life as she worked through the issues and I needed someone who understood that I had lost my job and was not financial available (or physically available - I am taking every odd job I can find to eat). It worked much better and we have had considerable respect.

Unless you live in a major urban area, Ashley is likely to be a waste of time and money (at least for men), the real women looking for lovers are quite small so they have the pick of the liter and unless you are exceedingly tall, handsome and pretty much the kind of jerk guy that always gets laid anyway, you are unlikely to meet anyone worth your time.

Lastly most of the women on here are likely to have multiple partners... wear a condom! The women most men are looking for will pick one guy and get off the site quite quickly.
