AM is still #1 affair site. Huge database of members, very well established brand. There are few cons though: - High price - Recent security breach - You have to pay to have your personal data vanished However, I still regularly use it (and if you know how to treat housewives, you'll get to the 4th base), but to double, or even triple up my chances, I use another great affair website recommended by lots of other guys here: Nostringsaffair.com. Happy hunting!
I was contacted by 10 women using Ashley Madison and all 10 were "romance scammers". Some waited 5 minutes to start asking for money some waited a few days but they all were scammers. The site is not worth your time or bucks!
A buddy of mine (53) joined to see if he could hook up with somebody. He found a couple of girls, both around half his age, that had just broken up with some young boyfriend and they wanted to hook up with an older guy. These hotties even sent pictures of themselves. Really wanting to try out a younger woman (my friend was between relationships also) he courted them via texting for a few weeks. Of course they never actually were able to hook up and there were mysterious long delays in responses. He started getting suspicious and asked me to call on my cell phone to see if I could get one of the girls to answer. Unfortunately I just got some automated answering service. I told him it was a scam. He wrote a pretty vicious text to one of the girls. Her response the next day was 'Hey, sorry I haven't responded sooner. Been out of town. How's it going?" And a funny thing happened. I got a text saying the same thing. And now every few days or so, we both get identical texts from Lisa/Marie. I'm guessing it's a robot or some telemarketer type that's trolling through a bunch of customers simultaneously. Honestly, if it seems to good to be true then it probably isn't, and if it's on the Internet then it's definitely not. Accept of course for that guy in Nigeria that needs to get 300 million out of his country; and he'll be willing to give you 10% if you just give him your bank account number. And as for the positive reviews on Ashley Madison, they are bogus also. No one is verifying my story and I can guarantee you no one is verifying the positive stories either. Unless you know someone personally that has actually gotten some in-person romance (not a bunch of saucy sexting messages) then Ashley Madison is simply a catfishing site.
After you joined the site as new user without any credit, you will got a lot of collect message required credit to read. But after you bought some credits, no chicks will send you any wink or message.
Even you use credit to message someone, they will ask you to chat on another website that required to buy credit, or register some kind of hookup ID which is require input your credit card information but the site is not SSL encrypted.
Fake fembot all over on the site.
I got 2 fembot asking to pay to another friend site for chat, another 2 asking me to register "SSID" or some kind of passes.
Here is one of the sample I received:
>>>>>>>
HERE'S HOW TO GET PASSES. JUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION CAREFULLY.
Click this http :// <<some kind of strange link>> link.
Create account,
Verify your account/upgrade. On the UPGRADE/VERIFICATION page choose 1 MONTH ONLY
SKIP MEMBERSHIP(Important to skip the payment)
After clicking " Order Now/Submit " you will see a button " SKIPMEMBERSHIP/VERIFY ONLY " on the next page, click on that button so that you will be excluded from the payment, that would tell the system you are only there for the PASSES so all your details will be deleted on the site.
Thanks for your understanding. Looking forward to see you.:*
The Ashley Madison site is plagued with false female profiles whose sole purpose is to lure male customers to expend credits. However, among the total pool of female profiles there is a VERY SMALL percentage of women sincerely interested in meeting men.
I am 60'ish, married, handsome, well-mannered, very hygienic, and affluent. I first joined AM during April 2012 and within one month had met and slept with a married woman. After marveling over my ability to satisfy her she ghosted me after our second rendezvous. More recently, about a year ago I met another married woman on AM. She is 25 years younger than I, slender and uninhibited...the real deal...together we continue to enjoy the best sex of my life, all while she calls me Daddy and thanks me for providing her what she can't get at home.
BUT...those are the only two women I have ever had any success with on AM while I have had regular success meeting women on other sites. Based upon my experience, AFF is where a man's money is best invested. But back to AM...if you are a man and join AM, count on receiving endless collect messages from women outside your geographical area. I don't know AM's exact business model - whether AM uses bots or independent contractors - but you will receive messages from women who never respond after you answer their collect messages. Oh, and I should not forget to add that I was one of millions of who received extortion threats when AM was super-hacked - threats which I simply deleted with no repercussions. But beware there were actual suicides as well as many divorces precipitated by that hacking.
Among the millions of female profiles on AM
- the vast majority are there simply to lure a man into spending (and purchasing more) credits. Beware when someone you have just met on AM immediately suggests moving to another communication platform "so you can get to know reach other better".
- a small number of female profiles are associated with women who want a small taste of adventure; for many simply having a profile provides them all the excitement they can handle. Others will message with you for an extended period before disappearing abruptly.
- an infinitely smaller number of profiles belong to women looking for action, and who will not run when it finds them.
Don't waste your time on AM...spend your money on Adult Friend Finder.
This site is soooo disrespectful and for unfaithful men that can't be committed to one person. Sick and demented. HORRIBLE WEBSITE.
I've been on AshMad off and on for about 5 years now. I've read many of the reviews here, and frankly, most of them are too taxing to read most of the others. Some of you are so tedious I'm not surprised the site didn't work for you! Jeez!
The site will give you what you put into it. Expecting immediate results? Try a hooker. Expecting some 5 star model to fall in your lap with minimal interaction on your part? Be realistic fella, especially if you're sitting at home with your gut spilling over your tighty whites.
There ARE quality women on the site if dudes use a little common sense, fill out a thoughtful profile (no check boxes only and MINUS the $#*! pics) and be patient (not thirsty as hell)…. It works. P*ssy rarely if ever fall s in your lap - whether it's a bar, work, walking down the street. Or online.
I would caution that AshMad is a BUSINESS, and yes, they use little tactics to get guys to EXHAUST credits, lol. Again, use common sense and avoid transferring credits, buying the "cyber gifts", participating in the fantasy dates or the instant messaging, etc. All crap designed to drain your credits so you'll have to reload quickly. AM also has a feature now where they AUTOMATICALLY send a "private showcase request " from a woman's profile (whom you messaged) who didn't actually send it, lol. They even show that she's looked at your profile - when she actually hasn't. All these measures are designed to HYPE a fella into thinking he has something other than the smoke and mirrors he may ACTUALLY have.
Again, use common sense and don't come off like a trick, a sucker, or super thirsty (same rules in dealing with women no matter WHERE you meet them, btw) and you can make this site work as well for you as I have for myself. I'd wish most of you good luck, but based on some of the comments I've read - you probably wouldn't know what to do with it, lol.
Here's the truth about AM, you can meet and hook up with attractive, married women. BUT (and this is key) you better:
A) be an attractive guy
B) be at least 5'10
C) be intelligent and able to come up with a creative and appealing profile
D) live in a fairly large metro area
If you meet those criteria, you can definitely have success on AM. I've lived in one of the largest metro areas in US and have only been a member for about 4 months. I've met about 8-10 women and slept with about half of them. And they were all quite attractive, a few them extremely attractive. You can do it, but as I said, if you don't meet most or all of the criteria I mentioned above, you'll have a very hard time.
Next, yes, there are tons of fake profiles on the site. However, it's not as bad as other sites I've tried, and unlike other sites, there are a lot of real women on there. AM is free for women to join, which I actually think is a pretty good idea because these sights need to attract women. Anyway, I'm pretty sure AM has paid employees that pose as women and set up fake profiles. They will contact you with very generic messages (like: "hey, wanna chat?" or "are you online?") when you first sign up. They're just trying to get you to buy the credits (and then use them). After a couple of months, I've learned how to spot them and not waste any credits on them (there are about 60-70 profiles in my area that are literally always logged in, 24/7 - dead giveaway).
On more thing you need to know about AM: The ratio of men to women is probably at least 15:1 in most areas. I don't care what other reviews say or what AM claims. This is just a reality, and it means the competition is fierce and you better bring your A-game. You'll get turned down by a lot of women that probably aren't as attractive as you are and some of them are rude. It's just the nature of the game. Tons of women's profiles are simply a list of demands or criteria that you better meet. You on the other hand, as a guy, better come up with a charming and creative profile if you want to get any action at all. When a half way decent looking (or just sounding, bc many don't add public pictures) woman joins AM, they are literally flooded with hundreds of emails. So like I said, you better figure out a way to stand out in a huge crowd.
I read an article some time ago about a woman's experience on ashley madison. I was intrigued by this article so I signed up.
It was interesting at first because there seems to be a lot of potential, so I bought some "credits" to communicate with other members on the site, here's what I found:
1) Fake profiles created by ashley madison - there were a lot of profiles that seemed realistic, so I tried to initiate a contact, I received an immediate response asking me to send a more personal (full) message (i. E. message that can only be sent with credit) - never got any response after sending a paid message. This is their dirty trick to get you to spend all your credits
2) Similar to the above, I received some priority message from some of the members with profiles that "seemed" to be real, however to respond to these messages, it costs credit as well. Never got further message after sent back a message with paid credits.
3) Fake profiles from other bogus sites preying on the weak men: I started to received some messages from other members, again with profiles that seemed to be real people, this time no credit to response but they ask for personal email to communicate easier and doesn't cost asley madison credits, sounds good right? Wrong! When they got my email, they sent me very convincing messages, then after a few exchange of messages, they asked me to sign up to some kind of voucher credit website, they said no need to pay to join but requires a credit card on file to join. Yeah Right! I'll bet they tricked a lot of desperate men to sign up so they can charge all kinds of BS charges to the cards. They stopped communicating as soon as I said no credit card.
4. more bogus from ashley madison - I received hundreds of messages every week, from fake profiles all over the world.
So after several weeks, I have communicated with several hundreds of "members" on ashley madison, I have not found 1 genuine profile yet.
I just came to realize that I was really naive to believe in that article I mentioned above, I read it again and determined that the article was for sure was created by ashley madison, 2 simple reasons: 1) there were details that a cheating wife would not review on the internet and 2) the story was extremely well written to attract reader to follow from beginning to end, fluid with well thought out storyline that can only be written by a "writer"
DO NOT waste your money with Ashley Madison, there is NO real woman on this website, all fakes.
I don't quite like the site. However, it did meet the needs of some people.
I am a woman, so my experience is very different than the men on AM, but I think if you ask the 3 men I am currently having affairs with, they would give AM a pretty high rating too! It is free for women, so I had nothing to lose. Yes, I was only on the website for 10 days, having been inundated with over 500 winks, emails and pics in that period of time. Of these I maybe responded to 20, met 12 (NO SEX was involved at this point) and ended up with my final 3 picks. (They were all such great guys I couldn't just choose one!) The competition is extremely fierce, so put on your best face, and be on your best behavior. If you do the math I chose the top. 06% of all the men who contacted me! BTW, I hear the complaint that all the woman are overweight on this site... I am 50, very fit and wear size 4 jeans, so I know that that is not true. I am attractive, but no beauty queen. Don't expect to find a super-model on this site... they have dates already and don't need to be on-line! Keep your expectations reasonable.
Here's what NOT to do if you want to be successful on this site:
1. Send penis pics or have shirtless selfies taken in a bathroom mirror. (All these were immediately deleted along with any winks, emails associated with the user!)
2. Send a 1 sentence "hi there" message- I responded to men who sent thoughtful, informative, funny and/or interesting emails that DID NOT immediately solicit sex from me.
3. Don't bother to read her profile to see if your wants/needs actually match. I wrote a very clear description of the situation I was looking for (long-term, not a one-night stand), and made my sexual preferences clear. If you are looking for BDSM, DO NOT expect a response from a woman who says she like to cuddle! Duh!
4. Expect to just meet and jump in the sack. This site is for people looking for "affairs", which I believe entails getting to know someone, and actually enjoying their company and treating them with respect and kindness. If you want a quick hook-up join Tinder.
5. Expect to find some hot, bored 25 year-old housewife wanting to bone you day and night. We are real women. I just happen to be single, but all my lovers are married and younger. I get NO complaints about my age. Have realistic expectations, and widen your age criteria. You'd be surprised at how many of us "older" woman have it going on!
I had no idea what to expect when I signed up, and all my expectations were exceeded. I think my guys might say the same thing...
I have been actively using affair websites like Ashley Madison or Saphrina for years and never really understood why so many guys did not manage to have an affair using those sites. I mean you have a place with literally millions of men and women all looking for an affair. It won't become any better. Let me show you how to be successful on Ashley Madison or on any other affair website:
1 - Never take pictures of your p#$#* or even mention the size of it on your profile and never send any other nasty pictures. Believe it or not but women don't get turned on by those pictures! If a woman asks you to send out pictures you can do that of course but doing it without being asked for will result in instant rejection. Trust me!
2 Work on your profile and create a nice one. I can't believe guys don't even add a picture and expect women to answer their messages. And you username should be something nice, nothing too sexual. Try to be a gentleman and avoid names like BigD#$*2017 and IwillF#$*UallNight.
3 Don't send out boring messages like Hi and Hey There or Hey, whats up?! And Wanna chat?! And also avoid naughty messages in the beginning. Don't be rude! Once again: Be a gentleman!
4 Double or tripple your chances if you were not lucky on one site. Saphrina, Victoria Milan or MySecretAffairs are some good options for that. If you weren't lucky on one site simply move on to the next one. Most sites have an unevenly distributed member base throughout many regions and countries. So no matter what it makes sense to join several sites and check them out.
5 - Avoid dating sites and apps whose puprose is not to arrange an affair. Waste of time. Affair webstes have a member base with people who know that you are married and they are okay with this!
Hope that helps a little!
