AM is still #1 affair site. Huge database of members, very well established brand. There are few cons though: - High price - Recent security breach - You have to pay to have your personal data vanished However, I still regularly use it (and if you know how to treat housewives, you'll get to the 4th base), but to double, or even triple up my chances, I use another great affair website recommended by lots of other guys here: Nostringsaffair.com. Happy hunting!
I was contacted by 10 women using Ashley Madison and all 10 were "romance scammers". Some waited 5 minutes to start asking for money some waited a few days but they all were scammers. The site is not worth your time or bucks!
To call Ashley Madison a scam site is a nice way of saying it. I have been on it for 15 years with the same profile and I just got my AP address blocked for good without any reason for it. No one answers call or emails. No one ever will. They do not return money, don't even try. Do not believe positive reviews or reviews saying the customer service solved the problem, they are all fake. This site was breached in 2015 and everyone information was exposed to media. The privacy and security policies they offer don't work and they are not real. They do not follow the rules. So you can use this site if you want at your own risk. Good luck!
Tip for consumers:
I truly advise you not to use Ashely Madison site or use it at your own risk.
The site itself scams you by sending you messages that appear to be from a potential partner. However it is A.M. "baiting" you into using your credits to reply. If it is not the site scamming you, 90% of the profiles are scammers that will immediately ask you to message them in another format and begin to scam you for money. Don't waste your time or MONEY! Ashley Madison is the biggest dating scam on the planet. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Tip for consumers:
Steer Clear!
They don't provide what they promise, their ads are misleading, they send you auto-generated messages from fake profiles to lure you into buying credits so you can write them back. Then no one answers your messages, it rarely goes beyond the first message.
When the site is not phony, you keep getting responses to your messages, the majority of women reply to your messages, unless you write them something really rude or absurd. This is the sign that the site is real and the women are genuine. But it's not about AshleyMadison - all they do is try to attract you by using fake profiles and generic messages.
I purchased credits to see how well the system works. I would hot list and flirt to see if I got a reaction. I got a response and used up credits replying, only to find it was a bot. The person had not been online for the last 48 hours. Again I got a message which sounded legit from someone who had been on line, so I replied. Instant bot message came through and never heard back from her. Don't waste your money on credits.
Tip for consumers:
I contacted Customer service, their response was for me to update my profile to get more action.
I have been using AshleyMadison.com for six months (back in 2014 before I discovered a different site) and I really loved it. I admit that you will find fake female profiles, just like on any other dating site. But AshleyMAdison.com is a solid site. I am surprised to read so many negative reviews. Only reason why I stopped using it is because I found a different affair website much better.
I totally agree with the postings here. The "credit" system is nothing more than a scam to pay for everything. The secret one is the same. Why should I pay to know if they read my email? Really? Sites like these need to be monitored or shut down and money refunded.
Tip for consumers:
They will not refund money but give you credits back to send other fake profiles messages that are never responded to.
The only thing I got from Ashley Madison site after becoming a paid member is a ton of SPAM in my inbox. They charge 5.60 per chat message to members. Who by the way are fake probably get a cut of that 5.60 a chat... AVOID this site at all cost...
Their major profit center is scammers, which they do nothing to stop. Don't waste your money or time. Easier to flush your money down the toilet. Help center are not helpful - a parasitic app and administrator's.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use it . . . As simple as that. Liver and onions
This company is a formal catfish company. Most accounts are fake from overseas with a model face and no description. The other accounts consist of sugar babies. What's more this company would continue charging you every month for no reason. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money witch is at least 200$!
I have been on AM for a few years and had mixed results. I have been contacted by women supposedly looking for an affair as well as a few prostitutes looking for fast $$$$. Of the "legit" women a few of them admitted to being paid by AM to contact men - especially for the "Traveling Man" option which costs more money. I have also notices an increase in fake profiles. Also, what is up with the $20 cancellation fee? To me, Ashley Madison is a glorified escort service. Then women you meet are nice, but not very attractive. I will just be letting my credits run out and I will be DONE.
I just saw the ad for this site. I hope that every single man that joins to cheat on his wife gets busted, taken to the cleaners and left with nothing except an STD. It's obviously a phoney site for pathetic losers. I've been cheated on, it's heart wrenching. Not that the b******s who look for affairs care. Man up, admit you're not happy and get a divorce you stupid, pathetic grubs. If you're not getting what you need at home, take a look at what you're offering.
The site has mostly fake profiles. Probably bots or AM employees stringing you along just so you keep wasting "credits" aka money on messages. There might be some real profiles on there but few and far between. I was on there a few years back before THE GREAT HACK and they were good sort of. Quality of women if there really are any has gone down and it's just a waste of time. Go somewhere else. There buisness model time has passed.
I'm a woman on AM and would recommend it for females looking for discreet encounters. Some guys are nice and handsome but there are many men who don't fit my criteria. Problem is they are still spending their credits messaging me but I don't have the time to respond to everyone. That may be the main reason why some guys have the feeling that most profiles are fake. Anyway, I recommend it for females. Saphrina is a good alternative because it is less expensive for men but AM is by far the largest affair website and should be the first contact point if you are a female.
Had a slow start on this site but by the last month was really doing well, if I may say so myself! Decided to give it another month to see if any of the women im speaking to (there are three, for the record) end up meeting up with me. The chats have been pretty hot so far so im hopeful, but the proof will be in the pudding. I know since I tried NoStringsAffair.com earlier in the year my batting average has been pretty good so if I can manage the same on this site ill definitely be getting some action with a hot married chick! Wish me luck! Will do a follow up review after the month is up as im sure that will help some of you make a decision.
If you're lucky, you may actually see a real profile with real responses, but not too likely. This site sets up fake profiles to get you interested, then these "profiles" send you a text. This is done to make you buy credits so you can open and respond. Credits are quickly used up because they use generic, impersonal conversations in order to get a response. Each response costs credits. Use them up, buy some more. Scam.
I've used multiple dating sites but I've never seen more bots than Ashley Madison. They have an elaborate and clever set up. AM relies on female bots to lure men in by showing interest and sending messages like "I only communicate men that can send me a message". The only way to send messages on AM, at least on the app, is by purchasing credits. The credits are somewhat affordable but the issue is not the money as much as it is not having real people to send messages to. This is a clever set up even by a "discreet" app that was hacked and had millions of its users names exposed a few years ago. This is the worst dating app I've ever used. I have it 1/5 stars above but it's really 0/5. STAY AWAY and save your money.
Not a bad way to spend the commute to work, chatting to married women about getting together for fun. Works fine for me when I spend time on it. A bit like nostringsaffair.com, reliable and good numbers. 7 outta 10
Just got on the site, but very clear already that the site is not living up as advertised. Getting responses from fake profiles for sure. What women contacts you 10 minutes after you sign up from half way around the world. Then there are local profiles that look fake as well with what looks like scheme to get you to purchase credits. Purchasing credits to contact is ok but way way too expensive. I think there are legitimate profiles on here but overwhelmingly actual people looking seems are the extreme minority. Will use the rest of my credits and delete the account.
I have found this site to be very misleading, it delivers nothing that it promotes and I implore upon you, do not put one cent into this hoax. I believe the responses from the images I have instigated contact with are not from these so called women looking for men! The replies are responses that always require credits ($$) to be used to open and the responses are nothing, every time. I believe this website is such a bull$#*! scam I'm amazed they have not been shut down. Who ever set this up are conning me and are stealing my money. They are thieving low life's.
Tip for consumers:
Don't, you'll get nothing in return, it's a scam and It's based on deception something Ashley Madison site has in spades. You'll be deceived and you'll lose your money. If you have been looking for a dating site that's totally full of $#*!, this is it. I hope they contact me, AM are fraudulent scammers.
Men have to purchase points to send messages to females. Problem is you have no idea which accounts are real people who actively login to their accounts and look at messages. Yes, there are scam/fake accounts, but their are also a ton of accounts that were at one point real people, but that are now inactive. You have to send a message to them (spend money) to find out. If they were serious about making this site effective, they would show a last-logged-in date. Without it, AM itself is a scam site. Glad I only purchased the smallest number of points possible.
Tip for consumers:
No use the site.
I am convinced that AM has fake profiles. The site works by paying a fee to have a profile then pay per message sent or collect message received. I have received many collect messages from women and have responded in kind to get nothing back. Your profile pictures are not protected at all. The way the site is set up, if you give permission to someone to view your pictures it automatically opens their pics. Unless this is a fake profile designed to do so. I have had women send me e-mails without even looking at my profile, it shows you the activity. That clearly shows it's fraud. Wish someone would investigate the fraud and return my money.
I've occasionally chatted with what I think are real women, but mostly men or fakes. I know this because after a while they tell me. Also, I used to get tons of messages and emails from women', so I bought some credits. All of those messages (were talking 3-5 a day?) immediately stopped once I paid them money. That tells me those were fakes, that the site manipulates you into paying for credits. I'm sure 1/1000 profiles on that site are real, but you buy credits to initiate contact only to find that the profiles are escorts or men or whatever. Not worth it.
When I joined I was contacted by a few women, none of which never viewed my profile. When I checked the "who viewed my profile" no one had. It would stand to reason that if someone contacts you they had to do so through your profile. Just fake contacts to suck your money out of you. On AM I responded but never heard a word from any of them. I have found all the adult websites do this.
Made contact with some they never responded.
It really is all spam and maybe even a scam. No one sends a message that isn't a collect message trying to rid you of your credits so that you'll buy more. And when you respond, you are met with dead silence. Minimum credit purchase is $50, so you are deeply out of pocket from day one. Feels a bit like a slot machine, except it never pays out. Stay very far away.
Site is alright, some obvious fakes (definitely more fakes than nostringsaffair.com) but there easy to spot. Good for using on mobile and easy to use overall. Be better if there were as many women as guys but suppose thats too much to ask even tho I heard its free for women (which is a bit unfair).
