Patience! It is a lot of work but hang in there. Back in the days I have been on AshleyMadison for a few months and had mixed results. Not all of them good, not all of them bad! As mentioned: It is a lot of work! Now I use Saphrina with pretty good results, but once again: Patience! Do not expect to hook up within two days. Not on any affair site!

Maybe AshleyMadison does not deserve a 5 star rating. Possible. But for sure AshleyMadison does not deserve a 1 or 2 stars rating. It is a legit site and an innovative company but you need to do your homework.

In general keep in mind: All is not gold that glitters... especially when it come to online dating!

I wish I had read these reviews before I wasted about $100 and several hours. You pay money for "credits" that you must have to message a female. The site sends you fake "hellos" to which you eagerly respond, and then nothing. You just burn through credits. You have no hope of a refund, they ignore you. I read that our ACCC receives thousands of complaints about them... and yet they still trade in our country.
If you find any positive reviews, they are a scam too.

All women profile are fake, you know it when they send you pictures of different people, or they ask for your ID background in case you want to rape them... furthermore it is expensive and you have to pay 15 pounds to delete your profile. Noone should play with men feelings this way.

If you truly are using this site for affairs... you all are terrible people who will burn in Hell. Shame on you. I pray your spouse catches you or someone rats each and every one of you out. If I could... I so would! You are all very terrible people for being married and having to go out and $#*! something else. Pigs! Any self-respecting man or woman would NEVER cheat. If they are that terrible... divorce $#*!ers. Not that hard. "Oh... but the kids..." $#*! your kids cause obviously you hate them if your screwing other people aside from their mommy. Yeah I said it. Been on a week. Had at least ten supposed ladies disappear in the middle of a conversation off the platform. Clearly there just to get me to spend my credits. Had at least another 5 lure me off the platform via WhatsApp or cell phone and try to get me to send pictures. Interestingly all 5 clearly didn't spoke English given their poor sentence structure.

Total waste of money and time. If there are real ladies on there.God knows where. Certainly not in the north east.

If I could give zero stars I would. Don't waste your money.

I have been on Ashley Madison for a few months. I find the site very easy to create and edit my profile. I also find the site very easy to read my messages, search and read other profiles. Obviously, there are fake women accounts but I just wanted to let people know that there are also very real accounts, I'm one of them. I have met a couple of men who are looking for what I am looking for. There is no right or wrong when it comes to why you join Ashley Madison but that's the adventure. Whoever said finding the "one" is easy and fast? It's even harder to when it comes to an affair. Good Luck in your search :)

What a joke. In my opinion, Planted fake female profiles from across the country that Ashley Madison use to contact you and get you to spend your credits. Ashley Madison at least have the decency to use fake profile that are within the same area as the targeted profile. As a business model this works great for creating income for Ashley Madison while draining your account with no/little results. Not worth the time or investment of your money.

Be patient and get rewarded or be lazy and fail. Using Ashleymadison is no rocket science but if you have no clue how to attract women Ashleymadison will not improve your chances. Unlike other reputable adultery websites (Saphrina for example) you pay by credits and that means that every approach costs $ and if you suck with women you will lose a lot of money even before you even had a chat or a date. If you know how to attract women Ashleymadison is one of the few adultery sites which really work. Just don't enter the stage with wrong expectations. Also consider to use more than one site. Boosting your chances with an additional membership on Saphrina is always recommendable.

It's nothing less than scam, rip-off and prostitution thinly disguised as dating service for married. All the women I talked to wanted me to pay them for a date ( and for sex). They are scammers and they are preying on your money. AshleyMadison is absolutely phony! There are easier and less expensive ways to quench that erotic thirst. If you want something more adventurous AshleyMadison is useless and worthless: things are simple there: you pay the woman and maybe you will have sex.

Ashley Madison seemed like a great concept however yet again it is another site with a bunch of fake profiles. I would recommend DateorPlay.com they are 100% free and don't bog down your email with a bunch of spam.

I had a 6 months experience with AM and it is clearly a genuine affair site with fake but also real profiles. I agree with many guys: As I experienced Saphrina may get you laid faster. But depends on where you live you will most likely find more female profiles on AM.

Like I said before: Many of the profiles are fake, but some are real and I got several contacts, chats and had a few dates that end up nicely with a short term affair. But that was a hard piece of work!

On AM or any other affair site men outnumber women by a ration of at least 20:1 which means that females are receiving tons of contacts and can be very selective and demanding. Again, in my opinion sites like Saphrina are slightly better but generally speaking: Men outnumber women on every affair site!

If you're an not successful in "real life" you won't be on AM! It works but it is a hard piece of work!

I have placed a profile on this site 3 times and I've never met one woman. There are so many fake profiles and scammers and the profiles of women whose profiles might be legitimate rarely respond or follow through. The AM ads make it sound like it is so easy to find a married woman for an affair. I would not recommend spending a dime on this site. There is not a sex dating site anywhere that is legitimate or I haven't found it yet

AshleyMadison used to be kind of good many, many years ago. Now, you can find much better sites (Saphrina, VM, and Co). However, the site is not as bad as most reviewers imply.

Fake profiles? Yes, I am sure they have plenty of fakers! Scammers? Yes, I am sure there are plenty of scammers. BUT they also have real authentic women. That is a fact! However, the number of fakes increased during the last years and that is why I rather use other sites which still offer a better success rate than AshleyMadison.

Open an account as a female. See if you even show up in searches. I know I didn't! This is on top of the fake "admirers" wanting to connect with you just to get you to spend your credits. Women email for free! If they really wanna connect with my sorry $#*! they will.
Then all the fake members on top of that. MEGA scam

What a joke this site is! They charge way too much for credits which you need to see, answer or send messages. When you send free winks you get these fake generic responses telling you to "please send a message and picture since I get too many winks to respond" The sad part is that I had clear public pictures on my profile so it was absolutely clear that these were simply scams getting you to use up your credits so you would have to by more. Besides this, the site is full of trolls looking for sugar daddy's and money or scammers from other sites trying to get you to join their dating/sex sites. If you are falling for this fake $#*! then you are a fool and you deserve what you get.

I am a new paid member as of late December and am finding the web platform locks up making edits to any web fields extremely difficult, sometimes impossible. As of this post I am unable to send messages even though I have paid for the ability to do so. I could not even send a message on the platform to report the issues, instead having to go to the parent companies website and send a note. I am awaiting a response which they indicate can take 24-48 hours. If I cant get a resolution I will seek a refund.

As far as members, there seem to be a fair number of real people but the quantity is a trickle compared to other sites. That is understandable given the niche nature. So don't expect match or POF membership levels. Also, based on the sassy profile summaries I am reading the ratio of women to men is very very low... as in women are taking in entitled terms.

If they fix the technical issues AND I get some kind of real responses I may continue with the membership.

Ashley Madison is awash with fake female profiles. The whole business model is to lure men into purchasing points. Yes, there are some real profiles, but they are extremely rare. I read some of the positive reviews, and those reviews seem just as fake as some of the profiles I have read on AM. Sadly, I don't know of any other better sites, but if you're looking to find a partner, or even a short-term affair, you have a better chance of winning the lottery than finding one on this site.

It works the same way on any adultery dating site whether it is AM or Saphrina. Want results? You get out the effort that you put in!

I have used both sites and they worked for me just fine. My advise: If you have not been lucky on one site after three months move on to the next site. Sometimes a site is simply not for you.

I see a lot of haters complaining about AshleyMadison... but most of the guys complaining on here are their own worst enemies and it explains very well the stories the women I have met have told me. I don't see any reasons to complain about AshleyMadison and in my opinion it is the second best affair website after Saphrina.com. If you don't have a horrible profile and rude behavior you will get to know some nice ladies. Of course you need to know how to write two or three sentences in a row. It works just like in real life. All that being said I believe and I know that AshleyMadison is legit.

I had to pay more than 100 dollars to register and I got in contact with 6 girls, they wrote me telling to start a chat with them and then after paying 5 $ they never reply anymore. After one month they charged 30 more $ for a service that it was free the first month. So at the end they stole me about 150 $ for nothing. Try some other ways to find girls... or just pay a prostitute with that money

I used AshleyMadison in 2013 and I really liked it back in the days. Yes, I agree with many other reviewers that Saphrina is the new "site to use" in 2015 because you will most likely find more real profiles. But AshleyMadison is one of the better affair dating sites because 90% of all the other sites are pure scam. Do not pay attention to all the negative reviews.

I got sick and tired of AshleyMadison drama queens and con artists. All they wanted was my money. All I wanted was no strings affair, a passionate woman looking for a hook up and good time. I have not come close to anything like that on AshleyMadison. The quality of service is very poor, most of the women are con artists, ready to tell you any kind of lie to get your money. Be wary of AshleyMadison!

I have been using this site for a year and they just randomly suspended me for no reason. I don't know if someone reported me or what. AM can also tell I am not soliciting as they can read my messages! I am just picky because I am attractive and most men are gross and out of shape. So I do block a lot of profiles and don't respond to messages but my profile said don't message me if you are not attractive! Also my blurred pic is attractive as most guys messaging me say as much. Anyway, I emailed AM several times and asked why they suspended me but they haven't responded. Anyway just wanted to let the men on here complaining about bots know that AM suspends real accounts!

Been using this site for 6 months now and I have met several women. It is not easy though and you can tell that there are like 10 times as many men using this site which obviously makes it a perfect place for women. I can tell why they love it. As another option I have been using Saphrina and would also recommend it. I had the feeling that the ratio between men and women seems to be a little more balanced.

Affair dating can be quiet challenging and don't expect immediate results.
