Buyer Beware! Most importantly Black Buyers beware this store is a scam! Their 30 day return policy is CRAP! AN ITEM ORDERED IS NOT THE SAME AS HAVING ITEM IN HAND! How is it ur return period starts as soon as they swipe your card! Why is it stores serving Black women are no better then crappy cheap stores? Gap, Banana, Ann Taylor are all so much more accommodating and appreciative of Customers and care about service. Ashley Stewart is only in Black Neighborhoods and Robs us! If a price is discounted online with do I need to threaten not to buy it in store unless I get that price? Scam! It's a shame Black women are treated this way by a store in our Neighborhoods! I placed an order for 2 pair of leggings totalling about $50. I used my PO Box for the order and checked for almost 3 weeks and received absolutely NOTHING! I sent in a few emails, NOTHING! Called and only got a funky "I'm sorry and understand". After calling for the umpteenth time, I finally get an email stating that an investigation is open and I'd have to wait until almost a month before they can issue my money back for something I never received! Just checked my email and now I'm being sent a generic return email that's stating they're only giving me back LESS THAN $10! Don't shop with these crooks unless you just have free money to throw down the drain!

I ordered a very cute jacket on 4/26 and received the package 5/8. When I opened it I found pants inside. I called Ashley Stewart customer service but I had to hang up after 30mins of waiting. Today I called again and finally got my call answered after more than 45mins! The customer service agent was nice but I was told I need to email A. S. a picture of the pants, then I will eventually get a return label... for the pants. Then I have to take time out of my day to drop these pants off at a UPS location. Only after all this will i get a full refund. But even after all this my jacket still isn't on the way. I have to call and reorder it! The only compensation is if/when I call I will get the original sale price. Are you kidding me?!?!

DO NOT buy at ashleystewart. I made a purchase 2 weeks back, as soon as I received it, I realized I ordered a really big size (11W, this is my first-time purchasing here, so probably miscalculated the size). So, I took them to the store, 20 miles away where I live. I tried asking them if I could try any smaller sizes, they only had 9, 10, 11 available and even 9 was still loose for me. To my surprise, they told me they wouldn't accept any exchange/return in-store, I can only mail back the package to whatever address. SO, I sent them back wondering why I couldn't exchange. Then they processed the refund and deducted 16.95$ claiming they were shipping charges and can't return it to me. Extremely ridiculous, If only I had known this, I would've NEVER EVER purchased. What a waste of money.

I ordered $400 worth on Black Friday I haven't received the order yet it was 40% off and now it is 50% off they will not give me the 10% difference. Called customer service said if I would have called 24 hrs they would have gave it to me it's only 48 hours. I asked where does that show about price adjustments. The manager of online Keisha said it doesn't it say no price adjustments but I will give u 5% I will return the order and never shop there again. I will go on social media and request people not to shop there! PERIODT I give them no stars had to give them one star to submit complaint
I am a repeat customer of Ashley Stewart. I've spent hundreds of dollars on a bunch of shipments. I have several items I want to return that either didn't fit or that I didn't like once I received the item. I was told that I can only return items 30 days from the ORDER date; not even the RECEIVED date. So actually I only have about 10-15 days to return items since they don't usually arrive for about 2 weeks from when I order them. I asked them specifically..."So does this mean I am stuck with items that I don't like, that don't fit me because it's past the 30 days from when I ORDERED? Her response was Yep... that's the policy. Needless to say I will NEVER order from here again. The return policy is not customer friendly at all.
Today on 1/21/2023 I purchased a cute jogger outfit on sale paid $70 for the the set. Only for THE PANTS to RIP down the seam of my a$$ after leaving the birthday party as I sat down in my car. I'm so glad it didn't happen in the party In front of everyone. The material is so cheap I have purchased better clothing from five below, I will never get anything else from ashley rip off stewart.

I ordered shoes online and when I received them they didn't fit so I went to the store to return them and I was unable to due to the fact they don't take back shoes that were purchased offline. Nowhere online or in the store it says this. When I called to talk to someone they said I can return the shoes back but I will have to pay for shipping for the return. I paid for the shoes to be shipped to me now I got to pay to return them! I will never buy shoes or anything else from Ashley's! Very DISAPPOINTED in this store.
My complaint isn't the clothes quality bc nothing from Ashley Stewart has ever ripped on me or been Damaged. I've been shopping with them for over 15 years. I was previously an 18/20 now I'm a 14 in jeans and 12 in shirts. Now for those who say the quality is bad or made poorly first of all the lady in the dress with 2 different patterns Sis that look isn't for you. Ashley can't help if you aren't a fashionista (which I am) and then you want to say poor quality no you did that dress a disservice. The other with the jeans it looks like you wore them 7 days a week like they were the last jeans on earth what else can you expect if you wear the same jeans over and over again. My compliant is simple I am upset with the models they have on the website (pretty faces) but the clothes aren't being styled well anymore causing me to shop elsewhere. The models are looking frumpy and bumpy. I doubt I am the only customer feeling this way maybe just the only one who will express their feelings. Please get the models right and the outfits styled right and watch your sales go up. Trust me
First time ordering from A. S and I was legit excited like wow fashionable clothes for plus size women ok. I'm in school for fashion design so believe me when I say I know how to correctly measure myself. I wanted them a little lose fitting so I sized up a few sizes which should have fit me perfectly. The dress I ordering was tight and looked disgusting! The shorts I ordered didn't even fit like? Are you kidding me? Both of the items were extremely cheap. A. S customer service is extremely $#*!ty. They told me I could return them and get $1 back even though I just spent 100+. I will never order anything from Ashley stewert again. Now I'm stuck with extremely cheap clothes I can't even wear. I am so disappointed in this company. I shopped with them for the first time, and picked out 2 cute dresses. When my order arrived, one dress was correct, but the other item was something completely different - a shirt that didn't even match the picture on my packing slip. I emailed the company the day I received the package to ask about correcting the order. I got an email back saying "return it to us then we'll refund you and you can (try) to re-order what you wanted. Oh, but if you use our shipping label we will keep $8 of your refund.". So, not only did they send me the wrong item, they then expect me to PAY for the shipping back to them, then PAY SHIPPING AGAIN if i try to re-order the original item I wanted. I don't mind shipping the wrong item back, mistakes happen. But charging me for it then having the gall to tell me to reorder the correct item and pay additional shipping? Nah bro. I also tried to call them a few times at the phone number on the packing slip, during their stated business hours, and it rang busy every time I tried. Unless someone contacts me to fix this, this will be my first and last experience with this company.
I swore by Ashley Stewart's line of clothing years ago. I was pleased with every business suit or casual outfit i bought. I would recommend them every chance I got to every plus size woman I knew. Well, for the past two years, it has been hit or miss, and lately the quality fit and styles have been declining. I have bought so many pieces that are very poor quality, poor fit and horrible styles... nothing like they appear on the models in the photos on their website. Yet, I have remained loyal hoping for improvement in the production and quality of their products, To date, I have not seen any improvements, am not satisfied with my purchases, and my finances have suffered as I continue to buy from A, S, hoping to see improvement in the quality of the clothing. Of late, I've also experienced problems completing purchases online, and God forbid you try to get someone to help after certain hours and on the weekends. Immediate overall improvement is urgent, or Ashley Stewart is history.

I don't know long some of you are shopping with Ashley Stewart as well as ordering on line I can have only good reviews for them, I recently shopping and ordering clothes from them during the summer during May to now October, 2018 I can only say I order n Monday I receive the shipments by wednesday afternoon. The quality of the dresses are excellent as well as their skirts and top. I call their customer service they are nice and helpful as well when I stop by in their store their salesperson are very friendly. To me they made me a very fashionable as heavy size dress woman due to medical conditions, Women of Large Size, please don't let negative of Ashley Stewart keep you away from their store step up and enter one of their stores and have your own experiences and Be dressed beautiful.

I made a purchase with Ashley Stewart online on 10/28/17 using my paypal account via my debit card. I took the merchandise to the store to make a return and they would not do it. I was told I have to pay postage to return it back to the warehouse. This is ridiculous. Why have paypal available as a method of payment if your store is not set up to refund the payment back accordingly. I called this company numerous times before finally getting a rep (Linda) who would not accommodate me at all. She stated there is nothing they can do which is bull. They could have waived the $8 charge and/or gave me an $8 credit on my account.
This store does not care about customer service and I'd advise you not to shop with them to avoid issues such as this. I suggested they remove the paypal payment method since they are not going to allow returns of said merchandise at the store because they clearly are not capable of handling this method of service.
I will not shop with this company again and will remove them from e-mailing me in the future.
I placed an order on November 18,2022 upon checking the website. I realize that they had the wrong address for shipping. I have been shopping with Ashley Stewart for a long time and my last four orders were sent to my current address. The newest order Was sent to my old address. I found this out after checking the website and not seeing any updates. I called customer service spoke to a representative and was told that my package has been delivered to my old address. When I initially saw that the address was wrong. I called into customer service and was told not to worry that it was coming to my current address just like the rest of my other orders. I called today and even spoke with management and was told I have to wait 10 business days on an investigation and basically it was nothing else that they were going to do. I ordered this stuff for an event that is happening 12/04/2022. The only thing they offered me was free shipping which you get that anyway. And 10% off I am highly pissed and would not recommend you spend your money with this company. I'm out of my money and I don't have my merchandise and it may be Christmas before I get the merchandise or my money back. This is very unacceptable and I am highly upset.
Ashley Stewart on-line is the FREAKING worse. The quality is horrible and then they took my money twice for delivery charges. I paid for the return because I never received a return label, paid for the return at USPS and they still deducted the amount. WTF. It's not about the amount of was about the principal.
I can't speak for everyone else experience only mine I always have a great experience my clothes are always the true fit and I received in a timely manner always I love the quality of your merchandise and you are great you have my business and I will continue to shop with you.
Order four items on Monday (CYBER MONDAY) 11/27/17 at 11:00AM. Today is 121/7/17 I've sent three emails from my personal email account, 2 Facebook messages and 2 inquiries from within the Ashley Stewart Online Ordering portal. Still no package and no responses to any of my inquiries regardless the platform used. I hate to give up this credit card... but this is not the only problem I've had with them... JUST THE WORSE!
Shipping is the worst I order item on 11/27/2017 not received yet was told by customer service that they havei no idea when it is going to leave the warehouse I said I need the outfit for 12/9/2017 for a Christmas party the way she explain it to me Ill have it probably after new year and if I want to send it back I have to make sure to tell them that Im sending. I have bought Ashley Stewart clothes for over the past 2 years. There are some good fit items such as sleeveless dresses and tops, however anything with a leg or sleeve is like wearing balloons attached to your body, they are not tapered. I understand leaving a little room for big arms, but A.S. Is ridiculous with it. Then there are some items are so cute, you think you hit the lottery but then after first wash or wear they tear, fray or become otherwise unbearable. I have even got sent the incorrect items if anything at all. So why do I still buy after two years of poor service. I still order because I catch those 10 or 20 dollar sales once in a while I might get something more expensive. For instance in March I got 500 worth of clothes for like 190 with sale and coupons. That was 25 peices of clothing and accessories. However, I had to spend another 300 at a seamstress to get the clothing bespoke. I am not necessarily looking for bespoke clothing when I shop at Ashley, but I want to feel cute and comfortable. In the pink and black dress, it was quality made but the straps are 4 inches to long and not adjustable, and since I did not try it on (I know my fault), before my trip, I had to double over the straps and pin them to my bra, and I had to hide the arm with the long sleeve all night so people could not see the bagginess. All the bunched up or wrinkly area are loose fabric. No, I could not go down a size, it fits my body perfectly, but Ashley needs to work on proportions or offer options. The clothes are cute but I can't afford to buy full price items and pay a seamstress for every order.
