I've shop plus size online & always had to do repairs to make them fit right. Since finding Ashley Stewart this past summer, no more repairs. I also love the feel and able to bend & twist while wearing my clothes & not having to pull them up or down. Thank you!

Buyer Beware! Most importantly Black Buyers beware this store is a scam! Their 30 day return policy is CRAP! AN ITEM ORDERED IS NOT THE SAME AS HAVING ITEM IN HAND! How is it ur return period starts as soon as they swipe your card! Why is it stores serving Black women are no better then crappy cheap stores? Gap, Banana, Ann Taylor are all so much more accommodating and appreciative of Customers and care about service. Ashley Stewart is only in Black Neighborhoods and Robs us! If a price is discounted online with do I need to threaten not to buy it in store unless I get that price? Scam! It's a shame Black women are treated this way by a store in our Neighborhoods! Never Again!

I purchased a pair of boots and never got my confirmation email, something everyone expects when you purchase things online, right?
After 4 days I called customer service and the woman sent me a confirmation email and told me they're backed up due to the holidays. I understand that, I work in retail in clothing but we caught up before the year was over and to be that swamped with orders this far after Christmas doesn't seem right.
Anyways, the next day I received an email stating that the boots were no longer available and that I wouldn't be charged (even though I already was, so now there's a 10 day hold on the money)
I began my search for another pair of boots (it's difficult to find affordable boots that I really like in my size. 12W with 20" calfs)
And I found the same boots still available on AshleyStewart.com!
I probably shouldn't have, but I repurchased them before getting my refund for the first order.
Today, before even receiving a confirmation email, I received an email telling me that my order has been shipped.
After I receive my boots and my refund from the first order, My business will go elsewhere.

In the middle of placing an order and submitting payment information Ashley Stewart site glitched. Went back to my cart to check to see if my item was still there, which it stated it was empty. Also, I did not receive an order number. That prompted me to re-order my item, which I did and this time I received an order number. I checked my online banking statement and the I noticed the first item was placed and I was charged(how, idk). I hopped online to chat with an agent, I explained what happened. I was advised by the agent that they do not cancel orders, by no circumstance to ensure that the customer receive their items in a timely mannor. I advised that I understood, but Ashley Stewart site glitch, which is not the customers fault and therefor I should be able to cancel that particular order. The agent then further advised me that they haven't received any other complaints that there's an issue with the site. Which then, I advised "Jean" that there may have not been, but I am reporting an issue now and the item I purchased was under $20 due to the site 40% flash sale and I gain nothing by lying! Long story short, they did not cancel the duplicated order. I literally had to call my back, placed an dispute just to get my money back. This is a very small issue, and should've been handled much differently. Either refund the customer's money, maybe offer a store credit or something but to advise them that under "no circumstance" is unacceptable and make me want to spend my money elsewhere. GREAT job, AS!

Everything is over priced! Some of the material used for their clothes are not good quality, some of their items doesn't fit true to size. I've ordered clothes in the same size from other places and they fit fine, and their return policy is horrible. I purchased an item from them and couldn't return it because they said I took to long even though it still had the tag on it and hadn't been worn. When previously trying to return the item, I was told to take the Item to UPS but UPS wanted to charge almost what I paid for it to return it. When calling customer service back. I was told to take it to a store which is a real distance from me so I had no way of getting there and I can't get around all that well due to health issues therefore I wasn't able to return it. So when I finally found someone to try and return it for me, the customer service rep told me it was too late. Now I'm stuck with this item and have two of them cause I had to order it again for another size that fit cause this was my only option at the time for what I needed. Their policy is terrible but they do have nice customer service. I understand it's not their fault and they're just doing their job. Everything else sucks and I will never shop there again.

IF I COULD GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE RATING I WOULD! So I order boots that were on sale Black Friday weekend. Ashley Stewart use UPS for their shipping company (which by the way is the wor sa t shipping company to use during the holiday because their delivery people are lazy). I received a notification that my package was shipped while I was at work. Cool! Get home no package filed a claim with UPS and Ashley Stewart about the package. Had all the information from my leasing office security that proved my package was never delivered. UPS denies their claim so Ashley Stewart decides to deny their claim. This happened 3 times. So then I reached out to a friend that works for UPS and found out Ashley Stewart has an agreement with UPS. So when one denies their claim the other denies their. So mind you this happened starting 11/28/18. So now by the middle of December since I don't have my package or a refund I dispute the charge with my card. Ashley Stewart has extended that investigation twice. Now they talking about 45-90 days. Their online is a bunch of scammers. If you don't go in the store do not shop with them! SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE because they like keeping people hard earned money because of their mistakes and mess ups!

Been shopping here for over twenty years! Never been disappointed at all! Very good quality and totally worth it for me!

Tip for consumers:
You don’t necessarily have to mail items back in for refunds, you can also go into a store near you to exchange items or be refunded.

I have been shopping with this company for YEARS! I recently purchased a jacket online and when I received it, the stitching was totally wrong. The jacket would not lay down flat in the back. I sent an email and explained this and told them the way that it was folded is where the problem was and this is how it was STITCHED. No damages done on my part. The last agent, whom I was later told was a supervisor, simply told me that they would not be able to accept my return as a damaged product because I only needed to unfold the jacket. First of all, the way the jacket was sent without being inspected shows error. Next, based on the response and the picture, it was totally clear VIRGINIA did not read my entire email because she would have known that the fold was a stitching issue. Lastly but definitely not least, FOR HER TO INSINUATE THAT I AM IGNORANT ENOUGH TO NOT BE ABLE TO UNFOLD THE JACKET SO IT CAN LAY RIGHT WAS VERY DISTURBING! If it was a simple folding issue, it would have fallen into place immediately after I tried to pull it loose the first time. I have sent pictures of the stitching and emails and told them that this is how the jacket was stitched and the only thing they offered me is a refund of the shipping charge and an apology with the 30 day return policy, and since I am a technical, educated woman, an exclamation point. Anyone grammatically correct knows that when offering and apology of something beyond your control shows no excitement. They have absolutely lost a long time customer.

What happened to Ashley Stewart? I have been a faithful shopper, a lover of Ashley Stewart Fashions for many years and for the last 6 months it looks like they have grabbed some of these models as well as the clothing and accessories off of the streets. I mean no harm, what happened to the models that MADE SOME of your clothes look GREAT AND SELL OUT? IT IS THE MODEL THAT HELPS SELL YOUR LINE. AGAIN, I MEAN NO HARM, THE NEW ASHLEY MODEL'S ARE BEAUTIFUL BUT "ARE NOT ASHLEY STUART MATERIAL" FOR THE EXCEPTION OF THE THREE ORIGINAL MODEL'S, who are trying to help sell these new ugly lines of clothes and accessories...WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GOOD SALES?...I SEE ASHLEY SPIRALING DOWN, I SEE NOTHING SELLING OUT FAST AS BEFORE DO TO THE NON-FASHIONABLE CLOTHING LINES, THE NEW TYPE OF MODEL, CHEAP MATERIAL, LACK OF GOOD SALES. I CAN ALMOST BET THERE WAS A COMPLAINT THAT ASHLEY GEARED TOO MUCH TO THE AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMAN, JUST BECAUSE OF THE CHANGES. I COULD BE WRONG. Ladies! Ladies! Ladies! It breaks my heart to say do NOT purchase from this site. So I placed an order on the 8th of Nov 2022. And because the site was glitching it didn't allow all the numbers to attach to my address. I noticed it immediately so I tried to do a virtual chat and they kept declining it. So I called and was on hold for 45 minstrel couldn't get anyone on the phone. So I called thw next morning just for them to tell me that I had 30 min after I placed my order to fix it. (Which I tried to do twice) So I was told that I had to wait until a delivery was attempted before they could do anything. So now my stuff is being sent back and they told me that the only thing they could do is offer me a refund and if I repurchased the items they would give me a price difference for the items so I could get them at the price I originally purchased them. But only after I purchased them at full price and then they would issue me a refund. This is the second time that I've had this issue. I've been a loyal customer for almost 6yrs andafter this I will not be going back. I found a better site, and the prices are more reasonable and the customer service is better. They treat you like you matter and they go above and beyond to make sure you receive your items and that your happy.

Tip for consumers:
Make sure you have your address correct and your satisfied with your items because if not get prepared to go through hell with them for a redund.

I ordered a pair of boots size 12 when I received my order it was the wrong size a size 9 I called customer service she was nice and told me I had to take a picture of the box and email etc. I did they apologize for the mix up and since it wasn't my fault they would send me a label so I wouldn't have to pay I really wanted those boots so I reordered the same boots and OMG! I received the wrong size again I took pictures of both boxes. They apologize for the mix up I was told I would receive another label to send back that order so I waited for almost a month No labels so I email them again telling them I never received the labels and I ask could they email me the labels they did I sent back both boxes of boots and what made me up set with this company they had the nerve to charge me for returning the boots when clearly it wasn't my fault they missed up twice and keep part of my money and then I noticed that they only had one return showing I email them again asking about the second pair of boots and I received an email that said I'm sorry but you didn't return two pairs Thank God I had a postal receipt showing I had sent them two box this has left a very bad taste in my mouth for this company
