After spending a horrendous amount of money in a week chatting and sending and receiving emails from and apparent barrage of women interested, I thought is best to book two calls with two different women who were emailing me constantly to get my attention one of whom advised her visa was good for travel and she would see me at the airport soon. This is a common one from many of the fake profiles whereby they don't actually provide their flight details when you enquire and fail to turn up saying there was a problem with their visa.

As the calls were booked a few hours apart I thought it would be interesting to see what would eventuate with these two individuals. When the calls were taken I was surprised to be talking to a miserable individual who gave me her phone number which I read back and also asked her to read back my number and email address to ensure there was no problem, same for the second lady except to my surprise it was the same miserable voice on the other end! I received two Beijing based numbers which I tried numerous times and neither answered and nor did I receive either an email or call from both, nothing. I assumed there may have been a language problem despite both (or rather the one lady) reading back the email and number I had provided so called support online and asked them to ensure that both ladies had my correct email and phone number where I was advised they would look into it.

The chat sessions are also monitored and it does not make any difference at all if you try passing on your phone number in coded form email address or otherwise, there is nothing but a site employee chatting to you like many other hoax sites.
You can try the site but inevitably you will just lose your money and be wasting your time.

I found out after I signed up that this site is run by the same people (from Russia) that run anastasia.com, a service I had tried in the past. As mentioned by a few others, I am sure there are some small number of women on these sites who are sincere. I met one or two on anastasia. But when I travelled to Ukraine and had a chance to observe this first hand and talk to some of the ladies, I found out the agency pays ladies to email men. Women who told men they were interested in men failed to even show up when the men travelled to Ukraine. One man went on a date with a woman whose English was supposedly poor and paid Anastasia for a translator... then several nights later he ran into another man on the tour who was on a date with another lady... and his date, the one who didn't speak English, was being paid to be the translator. Total rubbish.

So I sent a letter to a lady on Asian Date and asked after a few letters if we could just switch to email and maybe talk via Skype. She claimed my email address was filtered out in the email and that Skype doesn't work from China because China blocks some foreign software. I have spoken via Skype with numerous people from China so I know this to be a bunch of BS... they don't want to switch to email and Skype because they get paid to keep you on the hook... they make money for every email you send thru their website... they make nothing if you leave the site.

Basically, your odds of actually meeting someone on here are 1 in a million. More likely you will get taken for a ride... spend tons of money talking to women who tell you they are looking for their knight in shining armor, that age, money and looks don't matter to them, even that they are crazy in love with you, but they are not the least bit interested in ever being anything other than an employee of the website.

Don't be fooled by the fact the website looks nice or has nice features. It is a honey trap and the people who run it are con men and women.

Stay away... stay far, far away if you know what's good for you.

It is important to analyze scams carefully. Are there real women on Asiandate? Yes. Are most women on AsianDate real. NO! How can you tell? Well during free chat I would tell an obvious scammer that I was not interested in chatting with paid chatters. They would respond "Ok". I would then assert so you are admitting you are a paid chatter. Response "Yes."
I then set up 5 separate accounts. The lowest received 400 emails and the most over 1700 emails. However Often the same woman (over 150) wrote to all five accounts and each email they wrote telling the recipient how much they loved them and only them was identical to emails they sent to the other five accounts. In one case one woman wrote over 20 identical emails daily to three of the accounts detailing her dreams about an exclusive future with each recipient. Now if you have researched this you know there are multiple stories of men preparing to go to China to meet the woman of their dreams only to have a male representative call them telling them the woman was no longer interested. I'd bet money the male representative wrote the letters they fell in love with. Are there real women on AsianDate? Of course, but your spending about $3/letter and the chances a serious woman is writing to you are slim and none. That's what I call a scam. It is a scam to get you to write letters and chat with "women" (quotes intentional) who are paid to correspond with you. Those romantic letters are professioally written and you'd have as much chance marrying one of them as you would seeking a bride at a Bordello. In two cases I tracked profiles down on the internet. In both cases they were professional models though their profiles said they were a nurse and a business owner. If you get an erotic picture from one, do a google picture search. 99 percent of the erotic pictures I received had been downloaded from Japanese sex sites. A few that had not, could be found on Chinese sites selling lingerie.

I feel so sorry for all the girls in China on what Asian Date has told these ladies on this site and there costs as well as ours. Since Asian Date and all there staff rewrite our letters an chat with us making us believe we are actually in contact with what we are seeing in our computers. Sure they do have to have a few good stories to tell so they can claim the expense is worth it. But they make for it on all of us that have been rip off. We are adults and they should let us write and talk to the person we are interested with. For the cost they are charging. I DO NOT NEED TO TALK OR WRITE TO THERE EMPLOYEES. OR HAVE MY LETTERS TRANSLATED TO WHAT THEY THINK. I AM NOT PAYING FOR THIS SERVICE. WE GO ON THESE SITE TO HOPEFULLY FIND THAT SPECIAL PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR. I AM NOT LOOKING TO FALL IN LOVE WITH ONE OF THERE STAFF. FOR THE MONEY IF THIS IS WHAT THEY WANT THEN THEY SHOULD PUT THERE PICTURE INSTEAD OF THE PICTURE WE ARE LOOKING AT DON'T YOU THINK.? OK THEY GOT MY MONEY BUT SOMEDAY THEY WILL HAVE TO ANSWER TO HIGHER POWER FOR ALL THERE WRONG DOINGS.

I had a similar situation. I chatted with a 50's lady and the chat sessions would get very expensive. After $700 in fees I was not able to get to a stage where I would be able to exchange address information because the translator was trading my words. It became rather obvious when I received an email in which she turned on me accusing me of wanting to leave the site without her which was along way from what I had said. Customer service had told me that she needed one or two icons on her profile and I had asked her to get the agency upgrade her profile. I had now invested another $400. Customer service told me that the lady can say what ever she wants and the translator provides word for word translation. I do not know what more to say to my friend! She still comes online and her profile is "confirmed". I am now waiting to reduce the balance on my credit card before I attempt another visitation. I do not feel there is much I can do to by pass the translator. The telephone calling service maybe rerouted as well. Not sure that I would label it a scam. I was also handed an account with AmoLatina but never made any connection. My "contact" was played with... deletions and their additions! Their Anastasia site I believe provides my email address to outside sources as I regularly receive from woman in the Ukraine which I presume is to bring me in a back door to their site. I have always deleted them.

I had successfully used a site for Russian ladies and was successful with it and actually made two trips to Russia. The ladies that I met did not want to develop a relationship but wanted to marry within a short time (2 or 3 days). Hence no deals were made but it was a great experience.
